THE ECDYSIS is an episodic Action/ Adventure game that immerses players in the life of Robin Jr., a professional photographer, guiding them through the thrilling adventures and enigmatic mysteries he experiences on his journey.

Play as Robin jr, a professional photographer who embarks on a journey to his dream place to experience and capture the nature and wildlife
but you know... not everything works as planned. As a number of mysterious events occur, robin has to investigate and find out what's happening around him.

Players use weapons such as knife, Bow as well as melee attacks to defend themselves from enemies. Scenes depict intense acts of violence, including themes of suicide and torture. A few places are pitch dark which also include some horror elements like jumpscares, spooky sounds. Strong language is used frequently in dialogue.
