What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our game is still in very early development, but it is playable. We would like to have the game as early access to get feedback from our community and speed the development along with there help.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We hope to be out of early access by the end of 2022 at the latest.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During our first release of early access, our game will feature the basic firefighting features such as a user interface to start fires in the academy/training map. The training map will offer multiple different scenes and scenarios for firefighting. There is the ability to extinguish fires with a fire nozzle or fire extinguisher. Over the course of our development, we will release the full "main" map, more firefighting features such as fire trucks, ladders, tools, and more in-depth firefighting activities. We will eventually release emergency medical service content later in our development. This will include different types of patient care as well as firefighting. We plan on implementing multiplayer early in our early access version. Emergency medical service content will most likely be seen after the firefighting aspect of the game is finished. The full release will offer an in-depth firefighting experience, extinguishing different types of fires in different environments such as cities, residential neighborhood environments. Emergency medical service will be a full implementation around the time of full release. Firefighting gameplay and EMS will both play a part in the player's experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, you can change your firefighter's gear in the locker room, start and extinguish fires with the fire nozzle and extinguisher. By pressing "T" you can view the tutorial menu, that shows controls and how to start fires, you can also pick up fire nozzles to spray on fires after you have started them, inside the fire station garage.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During our first early access release, the game will be set at $12.99. We do not want to overprice the game at its current state since there isn't much to play with at the moment. Over the course of our development, adding new content and features we will raise the price accordingly, not drastically. You can expect to be the price of the game to increase from $12.99 to $15.99 to $19.99 over the next few months. The full release will be set and stone at $29.99.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We currently use Discord to stay in touch with our community. We would love for our players to write reviews on our game, and have discussions too. The community involvement with fixing bugs and issues, and giving their overall opinion is a big part of making our game what it is. We plan to give announcements frequently, showing are activity and status of development and get feedback from our community.”
