“Periapsis: Eclipse focuses on space combat between spacecraft. The game's narrative and mechanics acknowledge that you are killing people in this war but no violence between or on humanoid characters is visually depicted. The game is set during an interstellar war and features destruction of spacecraft and planetary settlements using conventional and non conventional weapons. Both combatant and civilian casualties are simulated and displayed to the player as numbers in mission recap and may have gameplay repercussions on level rewards and quest completions. The player may acquire expendable "stim" items that can be ingested by the player's crew to temporarily improve stats. Stim usage is not visually depicted. ”
