“We would like to take the opportunity to release Age of Survival on through Early Access here on steam for a number of reasons. It will firstly let players into the game at an earlier date than would previously be possible if the game were to be released in a fully finished state.

This will allow for greater feedback from the community, in specific things they want to see changed about the project, new features they might want to see added, and so on. The greatest benefit of Early Access is to be able to communicate and work with the community on creating something great.

Early Access will also allow us to grow in stability as far as funds and business is concerned, keep our server costs and employees paid while we continue development on the project.”

“Our goal is to have the project in Early Access for no longer than 1 year.”

早期アクセスバージョンと計画されているフルバージョンの違いは？

“The full version of Age of Survival will be vastly different from the project in it's current stages. We are working on tons of new features like new animals and weapons to be added, tons of new survival features we have started, the addition of vehicles, character customization and more.

The final product will be a more stable gaming experience with a full set of features.”

早期アクセスバージョンの現状はどうなっていますか？

“In it's current state, the user is able to see a list of servers (via bolt, and zeus) and connect to any server. The player is able to see other players on the map, combat is enabled. The player also has a fully functional and networked inventory / crafting system / building system. Swimming is functional, and the player is able to explore the ocean. Animal AI is functional and networked.

The core functionality of the game is largely in place and functional, and through Early Access we will be refining the current features as well as adding tons of great things.”

早期アクセス期間中と期間後ではゲームの価格は変わりますか？

“We are planning no price increases after leaving Early Access at this time.”

どうやって開発プロセスにコミュニティを参加させる予定ですか？

“We welcome any and all feedback from the community. We read the comments, as well as have a steam group open for the project, as well as keeping current on other sites such as social media, reddit, etc.

If the community largely sees something that needs to be changed or added, it is definitely our goal to see that happen.

As well as being developers, we all play games, so we want to have as much of a game player's point of view towards this project as we do a developer's point of view.

In a short way of saying it : We want the community involved in this project, and be a deciding factor in Age of Survival's development.”
