Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“My focus is to deliver the game as soon as possible within the scope I set for it without hurting the quality of the game. I am constantly updating and adding features almost every day and planning to deliver the finished product in July 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I want the full version of the game to be a complete story divided in 3 or 4 phases or acts with new and recurring NPCs for each act.
Improve existing abilities and add some new ones for each build for the player to enjoy without getting an overwhelming skill tree.
Improved UI and other additional features.
More weapons, shields and armor to choose from with different quality levels.
New areas with new NPCs, environments and enemies.
Also a multiplayer option.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version has the complete first act, with a large quest chain and some optional quests, with the next major update I will add the second act and so on until the release of the game in which I will add a system for replayability and more hours of challenges and fun.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Depending on the feedback I expect to increase the price a little bit on release, so the players who supported the early access will have the full version of the game for a lower price as a form of thanks for supporting the project.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Foxblade is my first commercial release and a very ambitious one for a solo developer, so player feedback is essential for me to reach my goal of delivering a quality product.

About This Game

Foxblade is an Action-RPG Solodev game where you forge your strengths through battle, as a lone hero you complete quests, find powerful random weapons and artifacts to boost your powers.

Key Features

Choose between three main playstyles

Do you like to be in the frontlines where the glory lies? Then Melee combat is for you.

Do you prefer flank your enemies from the distance and strike them to the ground before they can even reach you? Then Ranged combat is your choice.

Or do you prefer invoke the fury of the arcane magic, and smite, shock and burn your enemies with incredible spells? Then your choice lies with Magic
combat.

Quick and responsive action combat

Attack quickly and master the dodge mechanic to become nearly untouchable. Help yourself with abilities you learn when leveling up.

Special abilities

Level up your weapon of choice and learn special abilities depending on the weapon you use and crush your enemies.

Item Sets and Randomized loot

Each item has a specific main color, if all the items you have equipped have the same color you get a bonus depending on the weapon type you have equipped.

There are 4 types of quality in items:

Common, Uncommon, Rare and Unique.

Each one superior to the previous one.

Each item spawn with a slightly randomized stats making them one of a kind.

Unique weapons has special lore behind them that can be read in the item description.

Main and Optional Quests

Help the inhabitants of this strange land, befriend them, get awesome rewards for a job well done and earn your place in this world.
