Debut of Split Shot: Snow Day
  • Two modes collide to create a new Limited Time Mode! The Split Shot wall has been added to Snow Day to shake up the gameplay. You’ll be able to jump, fly, and dodge through the wall, but touching any surface on your opponent’s half will result in an instant demo. Like standard Snow Day, the ball is replaced with a hockey puck!

The Split Shot and Split Shot Heatseeker LTMs debut during Frosty Fest, dividing the field and bringing the heat this winter! Look forward to scoring long-range goals in this fresh twist on 3v3 Soccar.

⁠Split Shot and Split Shot Heatseeker will face-off against one another in Dueling Playlists for the first week of Frosty Fest! From December 10 to 17, the mode that gets more plays will stay in rotation for another week. The power is in your hands, feels cool right?!

⁠Week 2, from December 17 to 24, will see the victor of this bout take on the returning Winter Breakaway, where the Soccar ball gets frozen out for a Hockey Puck at the snowy Throwback Stadium. The final week of 2024’s Frosty Fest, running from December 24 to January 1, 2025, will place week 2’s winner bumper-to-bumper with Rocket Labs in the fight for LTM glory.

  • Free Play is now Online! Create an Online Free Play Session directly from the main menu, post-match screen, or while searching for a game. Party leaders can create sessions and invite up to 7 friends, or start their own solo practice.
  • You can join an Online Free Play session by name and password.
    • Players cannot start an Online Free Play session if one of their party members is actively in a match.
    • The Party Leader will have Ball Manipulation Controls (BMC) by default, and will be able to pass this on to another party member by leaving the match.

Center of Mass Adjusted for Shifted Hitbox Car Body’s
  • In past updates, we adjusted the hitbox position on several Car Bodies for a more accurate visual fit. This hitbox adjustment did not include a change to their center of mass, which we are correcting in v2.46.
    • This correction will improve how the Car Bodies listed below feel and behave.
    • We have ensured that cars with shifted hitboxes and center of masses do not have any advantages or disadvantages in gameplay, including kickoffs.

Need a refresher on how competitive rewards work? After completing ten Competitive Matches, you’ll be assigned a rank based on your performance. You can reach a higher rank by winning Competitive Matches. But be careful, as you can also be demoted if you lose too many!

⁠⁠⁠After winning ten matches at a Rank Tier, you’ll become eligible for its Competitive Rewards, regardless of what Rank Tier you’re at when the Season ends.

  • The new Match History can be found in the Profile section of the main menu.
  • Match History captures your last 20 matches from the past 30 days.
  • You can save and view replays of those matches.
    • You can still save replays mid-game, too.
  • View the following stats:
    • Win/Loss
      • If the match was won or lost by forfeit, it will read as “Win by Forfeit” or “Loss by Forfeit.”
      • If you left the match early, it will read as “Abandoned.”
      • In the rare event the match ended in a tie, it will read as “Draw.”
