Season 5 comes to an end

The "Arcane Talisman" will no longer be the default gameplay for the current Season, and the progress of the Season 5 tasks will be reset. Players can go to the Season Store to purchase Season Rewards that were not obtained in previous Seasons by spending Soul Essence.

Additionally, players can use "Season Selection" to enjoy the gameplay of previous Seasons.

Fortune cycles, great luck descends. Within the unseen, Dice containing unique powers of the world are born and scattered throughout perilous realms. It is said that those who obtain the Dice can use their luck to turn danger into safety, change fate, and even accomplish the impossible. Heroes set out in search of these opportunities. Meanwhile, Monsters blessed by Dice Luck have become even more difficult to handle…

"Fortune's Roll" is available only in Nightmare and Reincarnation difficulties. During the adventure, you can collect various Dice and activate their effects based on roll results. Strengthen your ability by equipping and combining different Dice—but be prepared to face enemies empowered by dice effects as well!

\[Hermit Crab]

The Hermit Crab lives in a conch shell, wandering around in search of a safe home. Any creature that comes near its shelter is treated as an enemy.

Unlike the Nihilation Monk or Corrupt Monk, the Void Monk specializes in mastering void laws. He can transform plants and was once shunned by the Corrupt Monk for interrupting his meditation with summoned thorn walls.

 

\[Wavefin]

Wavefin scoffs at White Shark's Battle aesthetics. He is known for the unpredictable attacks, the signature underwater ambush is every enemy's nightmare.

 

\[Crab Vanguard]

Rumor has it, the Crab Vanguard is the strongest assault force under ABYSSAL SERPENT. Wielding twin hammers, it's actually the sharpest "spear" in ABYSSAL SERPENT's ranks.

This giant turtle from the deep sea carries a powerful Large laser Weapon on its sturdy shell, firing continuous lasers to devastate any enemy in its way.

 

\[Venomous Catfish]

A catfish ninja corroded by Corrosion liquid, who abandoned its shell for a fierce Corrosion jellyfish shield. If the shield is shattered by a heavy blow, Toxic Smog erupts, corroding the area around.

  • Adjusted the Essence cost cap for the Spiritual Remnant at \[Longling Tomb - Entrance] in Reincarnation Difficulty. The maximum refresh cost is now limited to 60 Essence (previously unlimited).

  • Updated the sharing and recycling rules for \[Transcendent Arsenal]. When sharing an imprinted weapon with teammates, it will be returned to the original owner's vault after the game ends. Weapons not obtained in the current run cannot be imprinted by teammates.

October 23, 2025 Progress Update

This month, progress was pretty much at a standstill, all thanks to my PC blowing up! 🖥️💥 At first, I thought it was just an issue with the liquid cooling, but after noticing my cooling system actually had a 6-year warranty, I reached out to the original vendor, and it turned out the CPU had also degraded. I had to ship the whole unit back for repairs. Honestly, the first half of the month was mostly spent gaming and drawing fanworks, zero motivation to work, lollll

Anyway, big thanks to the vendor though, they ended up replacing both the CPU and the liquid cooling for free! Now that it’s back, my PC runs like new, and even the fans are quieter. Seriously, thank you!! 🙏

Now, back to the project:

During my… extended breaks, I still managed to add voice acting for 17 characters, including Grenearl. Also, after a month of delay, the script for an additional secret voice role finally came in! Production for that part can now officially kick off. That said, characters like Rihert and Chouchu, who have lots of scenes and dialogue, are still waiting to be implemented. That’s going to take quite some time…

This month, I only finished scripting the performances for S3. But now that the updated script from 长高 is in, we can start wrapping up the J2 performances in November. On that note, while revising the final part of J2’s script, I stumbled upon a major plot conflict with the already fully produced P23 chapter (yes, programming and assets are all done… 😅).

Even though it would’ve been easier to just tweak the J2 script, I decided—for the sake of better storytelling and character development—to scrap and rewrite the entire P23 section.

If only I hadn’t rushed it… ORZ

Q: Will a male Melodian’s ability be affected after their voice changes during puberty?

A: Possibly! Because it can alter their vocal range and timbre.

As you may know, each Melodian has their own primary tone and key. The closer their vocal range aligns with that primary tone, the stronger their abilities become.

That said, most Melodians begin developing their powers after puberty, so many male Melodians only start singing after their voices have settled, avoiding this issue entirely.

Additionally, since vocal techniques differ between child singers and adult males, experienced Melodian families often focus on teaching music theory and instruments before puberty, and only start serious vocal training after the voice change.

Fun fact: There have been child Melodian who showed remarkable talent early on, but ended up losing their gifts, or even fading into obscurity, after their voice changed.

Halloween is just around the corner, and the Community is busy preparing for the Spooky Fun Night!

During the playtest, head to the in-game Community and join the #Trick or Treat limited-time themed creation event by sharing any Halloween-themed artwork! You can also browse other artists' masterpieces in the Discover section and leave a flower on your favorites.

Please note that each artist may submit only one artwork for the event.

Saving Artworks Locally Feature Now Available

As the game is currently in the beta phase, all progress and data from this playtest—including your avatars, titles, stickers, and artworks—will not carry over to the official release version. However, you can save your artworks locally by following the steps:

1. Go to the main screen, enter \[Community] -> enter \[My Workshop];

2. Select the artwork you would like to save, and click \[Save Locally];

3. Return to the previous screen and click \[Browse Local Files] to view the artworks saved.

Additionally, we offer two styles for sharing artworks. Simply choose one and post your artwork on X or TikTok. Remember to add the #wejunkartists hashtag!
