Hi everyone!

A few days have passed since the release of episode 5.0, so it’s time for a little recap. Usually, I don’t enjoy the first few days after an update because people write opinions right away. I get lots of messages saying the update was “short” or that people are disappointed. But I also got many messages saying you liked it, which makes me really happy, so it's quite a rollercoaster.

I know SoD has both fans and haters, and that’s totally fine—it’s a genre that not everyone will like. I also like to be a bit sarcastic and unprofessional sometimes, so let’s just say we’re even :D

If I could complain about something, it’s that people still think the updates are “short” just because we are undedicated or lazy. I’ve been spending an average of 300 hours a month on the project for the last three years, even working on Sundays, because I love what I do. Making renders and the whole game setup takes a lot of time, and it can’t be rushed without losing quality. (Yes, we’re actively looking for new artists, but haven’t found anyone yet.) I repeat this often because I really hope people understand it eventually.

Still, I’m happy to see how SoD has grown and how many fans it has. I’ll do my best to keep it that way.

As you know, around mid-December—tentatively December 12—we’ll release a new Christmas DLC called A Dream of Christmas. We’re still working on it, but we’re doing everything to finish it before the holidays. You can already add it to your wishlist! In future posts, I’ll slowly reveal little secrets about it and share some renders.

IDLE PET UFO - InHabit & Memo - - s.ryouta123

A small story, upgraded graphics, and improvements to the core loop have been added.

I believe it has grown into something players can truly enjoy.

It’s an idle game with a touch of achievement added as a new spice.

Cube Mind - Furioso

We're almost there: Cube Mind goes on sale this Tuesday, November 18!

The final version is ready, and I've added the last few touches you've mentioned over the past few weeks:

✔ Lighting adjusted in several rooms at the end of the game.

✔ Minor tweaks to the user interface.

✔ Added some options to the settings menu.

✔ Changes to visual feedback.

✔ Performance improvements in section C.

The game is now closed and ready for day 1.

Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles - Falcopup

So there are a number of items to mention in this update post.

1. Steamcloud saves no longer syncs settings between devices. This means controls and performance settings aren't synced. So your PC can use mouse and keyboard settings at 4K but your steamdeck retains its gamepad settings. Quite a big QoL of deck users. This change is live for all users

Beta improvements availlable on game properties/betas/beta patch

1. The Mad Lector Battery unique building now comes in three colors, green, red and blue. The location you place it will determine the color, just move it slightly to get a color thats saved in your file. The Battery was always a fun photomode enhancenment/cosmetic. but now you can make even more atmospheric shots.

2. Half V-sync added as option. This is essential if you have a 240hz monitor but your PC cannot run at that resolution and framerate. (or your hyve city is preventing you). then you can run the game at a v-synced 120 fps. Or if your monitor is 100hz you can now choose to play v-synced at 50hz

3. 85% downsampling added to AA settings,. in addition to 150 and 200% upscaling, there's a 85% downscaling. this lowers the resolution of the gameview, while keeping the interfaces at native resolution. You would only want to use this on steamdeck or portable low resolution devices..

Bugfix:

The Mancer Lord Illuminator could be prevented from sailing up if you already acquired the top tier ship captain thru the entagon.. now fixed.

Desktop Defender - Conradical Games

Hi everyone!

It's day 12 of daily patches, and this one's focused on adjusting some loot-related things, as well as some light bug fixes and quality of life changes.

I will probably end the daily updates at the 14 day mark, since my focus will be going towards the big December content update which you can read about here!

  • Added the ability to press and hold the "control" key while in the upgrades shop in order to buy half of the amount of upgrades you can afford, to supplement "shift" allowing you to buy the total amount you can afford

🗺️ New Atlas System

Every map now has its own progression inside the Atlas.

Each map (e.g., Hellfire – Tier 3) clearly shows whether you’ve completed it.

🎯 New Map Objectives

Each map now features a unique objective, displayed directly in the tooltip.

Tutorial maps teach core mechanics, while all other maps get thematic objectives.

🏆 First-Time Completion Rewards

Clearing a map on a specific Tier for the first time grants permanent Skill Points.

Repeated runs still give loot, but do not award Skill Points again.

💎 Rarity Progress Tracking

In addition to Tier, the game now tracks which Rarities you have beaten:
Common • Uncommon • Rare • Epic

Higher rarity automatically unlocks all lower ones.
(Beating Rare counts as beating Uncommon and Common.)

🎁 Rarity Bonus Rewards

Maps can contain special one-time bonus rewards for each Rarity.

These rewards are automatically granted when you win — but only once per Rarity.

Map tooltips show which bonus rewards are still available.

🆘 Never Run Out of Maps Again

Map Type is chosen randomly

This prevents soft-locks and keeps progression flowing smoothly.

Fixed several issues related to map loading, reward distribution, and session transitions.

Atlas progress now saves reliably and consistently.
