To all players,

Hello everyone! I’d like to update you on my recent work progress, with the specific updates as follows:

1. Corrected the price and benefits of Yueying Treasure.

2. Adjusted the locations of Anju Real Estate and the Pharmacy (swapped).

3. Adjusted the parent-child relationships of basic characters, NPCs, and Players. The basic character (encapsulates attributes/logic common to all characters, such as HP and basic damage methods) is now the parent, and Players and NPCs inherit from it.

4. After injury, when HP < 30%, a continuous bleeding debuff is applied, which can be removed at the Recovery Hospital.

5. Added red screen animation feedback when injured

.6. Fixed the buff save issue.

7. Modified the buff initialization issue. The current framework now supports letting players start with more debuffs!

8. Added a submenu for the Recovery Hospital. You can enter the hospital, then choose to either treat illnesses or get a checkup, and then select the corresponding item to use the service.

I will keep you updated on any new progress.

I forgot that updating the level mesh would revert it's layers, making blood splashes on level 1 not possible. This hotfix will fix that.

Bug fixes:

- Stockbot corrections.
- Fixed selecting items thru physical objects like walls or pillars in certain circumstances.
- Fixed cart teleportation issues when no longer associated with the cart.
- Fixed typos on certain streamer posters.
- Container items register to their respective shelves when loading the game.
- Stockbots no longer take from player or carts.

Known issues:

- Having > 3 stockbots causes some interesting 'dances'. Still working on these bad boys.

Amalgamation (The Shadow now receives a random Shadow's Ultimate). You have not lived until you've faced a G'nome using Oculus's laser. We may expand this later to not replace the current ultimate but instead have a new key to press. It really depends on the popularity.



Pumpkin Smash (Pumpkins spawn around the map, jumping on one awards your points, stealth and will petrify nearby enemies!)



Racers (Rings spawn around the map, run through them for points!)



Legacy Mode Changes
Our goal with Legacy was to have a familiar experience for LB1 players when coming to LB2's fast paced environment. I've continued to work with LB1 veterans to see what was missing and I think it's now in a very good position. Please, if you feel something is wrong or missing, let me know. Despite my best efforts, my psychic training has not paid off and I am not thousands in debt.

  • Legacy Mode renamed to Light Bearers 1 Mode.
  • Legacy Mode now has the same wall jumping detection as LB1.
  • Fixed an issue with Legacy Mode where the Bears were a little faster than they should be.
  • Fixed crouch walk speed in Legacy Mode.
  • Made lots of little adjustments to try and match LB1's movement feel.
  • The Shadow can no longer use G to teleport to Shadow Portals, thus cementing the full LB1 experience.

Map Ports
We hear you, you missed both of these maps. Some of you have some choice words to say about the new Nowhere. So I present to you the old Nowhere that is now the new old Nowhere known as Somewhere!

Somewhere
I kept it as 1:1 as I could. The object I was using for the "strings" on the photographs were tanking framerates on my 3080ti by like 80 fps. So i scrapped those. I also added some couches in random spots. I also cleaned up some bad geometry.

Wonderland
Removed the "Secret" room. Fixed the lighting. Added a creepy red light.



The other stuff
  • Giant Snowball has more gravity and is now launched where you are aiming.
  • Giant Snowball now gets larger when snowballs hit it.
  • Hot Potato is no longer in the default playlist .
  • Fixed a few bugs that could cause a crash in rare circumstances.
  • Added a validation system for saves to help prevent save corruption.
  • Added back up system for saves .
  • Fixed a spectator issue that could in a super rare circumstance, crash the economy. Possibly just the game though.
  • Added Halloween music to Spooky Rock.(Check cleared for our musician)
  • Mastered some songs, so that their perceived volumes align.
  • All Dry Rock variants now have collision on the building trims.
  • Bears now behave like LB1 bears when on edges.
  • Speed Boost and Immunity no longer show to other players if invisible
  • Hitting players with Oblivion's Mind Blast, now awards points
  • Client side projectiles should not broadcast hits properly
  • Shadow Select Confirm text changed to Play
  • During Shadow Select, if a player has clicked on any shadow. It will now auto-confirm that player when the timer hits 4 seconds.
  • Streaker body now gives points when speeding up nearby Shadow Bears
  • Fixed a null pointer reference for the vulnerability debuff
  • Leaving a hiding place in Shadow Favored now applies a debuff called Hiding Lockout, which prevents you from using another hiding place for 10 seconds.

Esophaguys - MadTubeSock

Esophaguys will be featured with a live demo and video presentation at the 10th International Jew's Harp Congress, hosted in Hokkaido, Japan, October 24 - 26, 2025. A deep dive into the instrument's integral role in the narrative, gameplay, and audio - the video features live performances and in-game examples of the harp's extensive use.

The first International Jew's Harp Congress was held in 1984 September in Iowa City, USA, and like the Olympics, the event is hosted each time by a different country around the world. Except that it follows no specific timeline, and it happens only when it finds a host country capable of pulling it off!

This 10th International Jew’s Harp Congress/Festival is organized by the Japan Jew’s Harp Association in partnership with the International Jew’s Harp Society, along with the Ainu Association of Akan and the Akan Jew’s Harp Society.

It will be held this weekend at the Ainu-village Akanko Ainu Kotan on the shore of Lake Akan, located amidst volcanoes and forests within the Akan-Mashu National Park in Hokkaido, Northern Japan.

  • increased the amount of clouds that may spawn, (not the density, just that here are fewer clear zones)

  • moved some traderoute nodes around so tradeships don't clip thru islands at points.

  • reduced minimum distance for fast travel to 800 instead of 1000 units

  • added a few animated naval gun emplacements at shard and Basilicus Primus
