Bonk It! - SLOTHERIN
Quality of Life Changes

This update improves overall gameplay stability, balance, and player interactions.

  • Character Collisions: Character collision system has been improved — now larger, more stable, accurate, and optimized.

  • Grip & Traction: Increased character grip, resulting in less slipping on all surfaces — especially noticeable on snow!

  • Map Adjustments: Some areas (particularly in the first biome) have been made easier to help new players progress more smoothly.

  • Tutorial Improvements: Tweaked a challenging section in the tutorial to make it more beginner-friendly.

  • Snowstorm Visibility: The snowstorm in the snow biome is now less intense, allowing for better visibility.

  • New Timer System: Timers have been added! They start once you move a certain distance from a checkpoint — giving you time to gather your friends before the challenge begins.

  • A small issue related to game saves has been fixed.

Seedborne Soldiers - HatWobbleGames

We're excited to announce that the full version of Seedborne Soldiers will be available in less than a week on 10/27/25! This is the culmination of five years of development and our latest and greatest milestone.

This is an Early Access release. Here's what that means:

  • The game isn't completely done. It does, however, have all the stuff listed in the "About this game" section of the Store page. It's a fun, deep roguelike with a ton of characters and a high level of replayability.

  • The full version could release in about a year. The full version is planned to have the following improvements over the current version:

    • Unlockable difficulty levels (eg, post-run progression)

    • Run-to-run trait variation on some units

    • Refined, easier-to-scan UI, including updates to tooltips, right-click info, and more

    • An overall more balanced experience

    • More Trinkets

    • More Ruins

  • The full version will cost a bit more than the Early Access version

  • Also, there will also be a sale to promote the Early Access launch

  • The demo will continue to be available for free. The demo features the first map only.

for testing! This is your critical opportunity to try out some major

Focus: Steam P2P Networking

After many player requests, we are testing a new Steam Peer 2 Peer (P2P) networking system to compare it against the current server-based solution, which includes improved prediction logic.

We have been seeing good results internally, but now we need your real-world data.

We are especially eager to get feedback from players who have historically had
issues with disconnects or connection stability on the dedicated server
system. Please let us know how the P2P based networking works for you!

Bit ESC - Essssam

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to thank all the early players for their support and for bearing with me while I fixed bugs / crashes. Also your help in catching some of those bugs has been invaluable. Thank you ❤️ Bit ESC is in a much better state thanks to you and it'll only going to get better from here.

Also I'd like to give an explanation as to why there were that many bugs:

  • Bit ESC is just one guy sitting behind a computer coding, drawing and making weird sounds and putting them together to make a game.

  • Bit ESC also runs on a custom engine. Besides the game, I had to create the engine as well.

  • I didn't want Bit ESC to be a "Get from point A to point B" type of platformer. I wanted it to be a full-fledged world with characters, activities and random stuff everywhere. And the more stuff I add, the more complicated the game gets and the less time I have to test everything.

  • Also friends aren't the best playtesters. I'll be getting new friends.

So why not delay the game, you ask? The release date was decided a month prior and I thought that was enough time to wrap everything up. But more so, Bit ESC is in a genre that doesn't do too well on Steam with an art-style that doesn't do too well on Steam and made by a dev who is just starting out on Steam so it isn't (probably never was) financially responsible of me to keep working on it.

But all that said, I strongly believe Bit ESC is a good game and I really hope that players enjoy their time with it.

With that said, I'll get back to bug-fixing and will share a roadmap of what's to come for Bit ESC tomorrow. I've still got a few more tricks up my sleeve.
