Before I start, let me clarify some confusion

I didn't want to say that this game is in “conceptual” phase and much less I am a newbie just starting to do things with the source engine, I have been doing content with garrysmod, like model and some few maps and that gave me a great experience.

¿What was the real problem with this game?

First let's start with the worst problems of the “Source Engine 2013”

1- There is not as much information as with unity and unreal engine 4.

2- The “Displacement” of the valve hammer, have a problem and that is that to optimize them, it is not as easy as “Reduce polygons” to a model in blender.

3- Everything was great almost at the end of the development, until the page of “Interlopers.net fell and no longer allows me to copy what came out at the end of the ”Valve Hammer“ and almost I charge a complete map because of the update of the counter strike source, I had to ”outdated" to finish with certain maps of the game.

4- It would probably take me more time, if you want to put an aiming system "LIKE GTA V" at least appreciate that I found my "Tricks" so that it was not "Uncomfortable to play" to use the magic wands or crossbow.

What could I change?

Well, the most important things to improve impressions.

Examples

*Details that don't affect performance so much.

*More Traps for both your character/enemies

*Better English translation

*Remove weird details that don't make sense

More Custom Sounds?

It would be necessary to see, because most games "In general" use sounds very similar to each other, example like hitting wood, metal and rock, I find almost no difference in certain games and I do not intend to put sounds of "Very Old Cartoons" that is not the theme that I wanted to give.

Finally, the supposed "anthropomorphic dinosaurs" that you saw, are not really that in the lore, this is a "Peculiar" detail of the lore of the "World of Hartdam"

Void Stalkers - Calandryll

A big thank you to everyone who played the Void Stalkers Demo during Next Fest and offered us feedback! We're in the process of making some big changes to the demo based on that feedback.

Currently in development:

  • Reducing the reliance on the drone for most of the events. You will no longer need it to connect to ship terminals.

  • Instead, the drone will be part of the solution for specific events. More on this later!

  • Spreading out the tutorial a bit so the game isn't throwing so much at you all at once.

  • Lots of updates to the tutorial text to make it easier to understand what you need to do.

  • Other small tweaks and upgrades based on feedback.

The demo will continue to be available while we work on these changes. Once they are live, we will post an announcement. We're looking forward to hearing you feedback on the changes!

  • Friendly Terramites no longer destroy Scared Stiff plants or hammerable structures.
  • Friendly Terramites are no longer untargetable. (Damage is converted to usage loss.)
  • Hound waves will try to avoid players in the arena when there is an active boss.
  • Celestial Scion now has a smaller aggro radius to re-engage it after a wipe.
  • Updated Thermalock Missile targeting:
    • Heat sources are now prioritized over temperature values, and will be targeted even when the ambient temperature is very high.
    • Dropping below freezing temperature will mask your heat signature completely.
    • More dynamic search area when retargeting. This means that if a heat source was out of range initially, you might still be able to run over to it and have the missile retarget it now.
  • Thermal Stone and Thermbell will now update their heat state visually when moving in or out of an Ice Crystaleyezer zone.
  • Drowning in shallow water will now just pick the closest shore without randomization.
  • Updated strings and audio.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed bug where Judge’s Booth could end up in an unbreakable state.
  • Fixed bug with Inimical Gestalts not despawning.
  • Fixed bug with Inimical Gestalts hurting other Gestalts with their AOE attacks.
  • Fixed reversed logic when Grainy Transmission asks for a different type of captured Gestalt.
  • Fixed bug where Celestial Scion’s moveset did not reset when its health resets.
  • Fixed bug where Thermalock Missiles were unable to target WX-78 even without Refrigerant Circuit.
  • Fixed bug where Thermbells were never damaged when hit by Thermalock Missiles.
  • Fixed bug with Warblers flying out of bounds and falling in water.
  • Fixed bug with friendly Terramites continuing to target other Terramites that have already been picked up.
  • Fixed bug where Merms did not stop moving when players were trying to heal them
