If you’ve played the previous version, this build brings new flavor to the same 8 days, but now with layered events and app triggers that change how the scenes unfold. Our new demo comes with more features, drama, and ways to stir up your favorite Hotbox regulars. 🍩✨

• Expanded Story Scenes:

  • New story scenes with Kolt, Ainsley and Dexie.

• New Phone Features:

  • Facenook App – a social feed where players can catch a glimpse of what’s happening around San Mazo. Characters also occasionally post status updates or leave comments.

  • Messager App - a messaging app where characters reach out to the player whenever they're not around. These texts provide additional relationship points and help build emotional continuity outside the Hotbox.

  • Tender App – a relationship tracker that allows players to monitor their affection levels with different characters. It also shows how many points are needed to unlock the next story scene.

  • Hamazon App – an in-game shop where players can purchase ingredients, tools, and other upgrades for the Hotbox. These items can affect gameplay mechanics and unlock optional content.

  • Save/Load - players can now save their progress every end of day.

  • Expanded Options - added flexibility in how players interact with the game: volume, screen settings, text speed, debug menu, and other quality-of-life improvements are now accessible.

  • Expanded MC Customization - added new hairstyles, alternate outfit and facial options to give players more ways to personalize their main character.

This update begins the addition of new tier 1 parts. Tier 1 has the fewest number of parts and feels even slimmer when you start each run with a handful of them. This wave focuses on the low hanging fruits introducing tier 1 variants of existing parts. Future part waves will introduce new part types like a grappling pistol.

On top of the new parts, two causes of mulitplayer desync have been found and fixed. These fixes would be almost impossible to find without the help of everyone sharing their log files. If you continue to experience desync issues, please let me know. Many different things can cause desync so it is difficult to know if it is entirely fixed.

• Added a tier 1 variant of the SN Belltower side mounted single shot cannon.

• Added a tier 1 variant of the RK Konbar side mounted missile pods and renamed the existing weapon to a higher designation.

• Added a tier 1 variant of the BR01/G Muzzlebreaker a weaponized armature with a light ammo cannon and renamed the existing weapon to a higher designation.

• Added a tier 1 and 2 variant of the RP Brynwick handheld launchers and renamed the existing weapons to a higher designation.

• Removed the Manufacturing Center requirement from the Part Modifier project in Millennium Front (Campaign 3).

• Moved the Part Modifier activity from the manufacturing category to the mechanic category in Millennium Front (Campaign 3).

• Fixed a rare cause of desync in Millennium Horizon when reaching response level 3 or provoking an ace.

• Fixed a duplicate player sometimes appearing in the multiplayer lobby and causing desync once the campaign is started.

• Corrected the icon of the Part Modifier projects.

• Fixed the HC01 Hailstorm not being considered light for the purpose of utilizing wrist mounted weapons.

• Fixed the XM03 Supernova appearing too frequently once T4 reactors enter the loot pool.

• Fixed beam weapons being able to fire with empty energy cells.

Fixed issue where bank loans would give a small amount of heat, which if you take enough of them would let you freely get max heat and then you could just instantly pay back the loans.

Fixed lobbying issue where multiple systems would try and interact with lobbying manager at the same time which would glitch out the logic leading to drastically innacurate figures.

Increased funding base amount for lobbying.
