Y2K Directive - Kszaku

Hi everybody.

I've made a decision, to release the full version of the game in the state "as it is", on 28th of November 2025. You'll be able to finally play it very, very soon.

I'm sorry for lack of updates on the progress, and so on. There was a lot that happened in my life - I'm not going to bore you with the details, but it left me with very little time to work on the game. But I was able to complete most of the features I've had in plans.

Basically, everything that was in the demo is still in the game, with a lot of improvements. Additionally, I was able to add:

  • Aircraft system: completely new class of units with its own combat and navigation systems

  • Day/night cycle and weather system: weather conditions and time of day will affect combat and unit navigation

  • Save/load system: a bit rudimentary, but will allow the player to save the game upon quitting, and resume it later

  • Zombies enemy faction: new enemy faction with unique AI and combat mechanics.

  • Alien Civilization enemy faction: the final challenge for players who mastered other factions. Alien civilization can use both ground and airborne units. They will be fearsome enemy. They also have some interesting interactions with other factions...

  • Many other small improvements

When my work on what eventually became Y2K Directive started, I've planned to release it in the late 2023, early 2024 at the latest... From the moment I've wrote the first line of code until now, I've changed my job, crossed the magical 30 years old barrier, visited 3 countries, moved to a new house and as of recently - got married.

During the initial stages of the development, I've had really big plans for the game - a lot of systems interacting with each other, a real story generator. And while that was more or less achieved, obviously more could be done. I have plans for a series of updates, which will bring new things, like:

  • Insurgency system

  • Unit customization

  • Random "world events" system, with effects on every playthrough

  • Expanded economy/supply system

  • More units, weapons, content

  • Lore

And I will be working on them in the coming months. Part of me wants to delay the release even further, to include all of these features, but... Other part of me is already burned out.

With that in mind, I've go to admit that initially I planned to set the price of the game at 15$ for all regions... But given all of the above, in its current state, Y2K Directive will release on 28th of November 2025 for only 5.99$ with the 10% discount during its launch week.

Deisim - Myron

I’m glad to announce that the second monthly update for Deisim is now live!

To celebrate the first anniversary of Underworld Overseer on October 31, we’ve added 10 creatures from the Underworld that you can now summon into your Deisim world.

This update was also the perfect opportunity to completely revamp the Miracle Menu. Over the years, the old menu had become cluttered and made it difficult to add new miracles. The new design gives us more room to grow and should make it much easier and faster for you to select the miracle you want.

I hope you enjoy this update and cause a little chaos this Halloween with your new monsters! Let me know what you think, and stay tuned for more news about our next monthly update.

A-hoOoOoO-y Captains!

As you may have already known, due to our rather early announcement of the Halloween celebration, we're up to adding more reasons to start your Archipelago voyage for the spooky season!

To celebrate the "after dark" season of World of Sea Battle, we're bringing you more than just your average trick or treat - we've got a few events to keep you on your toes.

Get ready, we're all about getting that headwind into our sails now that the game's on Early Access. Let's see what you'll experience in World of Sea Battle "after dark"!


Candies & Pumpkins for all!

Starting October 31st until November 13th, you can engage in quests, complete them, and earn candies to exchange for treats! You can also fish and hunt whales to earn some, or just try your luck with loot marked on Treasure maps. Be sure to exchange them for proper treats at any port's Overseas Trader!

Also, there seem to be anomalies scattered around the high seas... pumpkins seem to have appeared floating around. Reports from locals suggest they contain valuable loot, but others claim they're rather explosive. Oh, and be careful around whales... that's all we can say.


The Naglfar Veilbreak Incursion

Not much is known about these ships - except they randomly appear whenever they deem the Archipelago waters are becoming a little too safe for its locals. What's known is that they belong to the Empire, and as per the records, anything from them's bound to be bad news...

Although this could be an opportunity for our loud and proud Captains. Throughout the spooky season, the Naglfar Veilbreak Incursion (or so the locals have named the phenomenon) begins, during which these ships appear randomly on the map across all servers.

We know what you're thinking - loot is bound to drop if you defeat them, as confirmed by the legends who have defeated them in the past. Do you have what it takes to be one of them?

Welcome to Season 2 of Stash: A Card Looter!

This update refines the core experience with faster runs, deeper strategies, and more ways to build your squad.

MAJOR GAMEPLAY CHANGES
New Run Structure
  • Streamlined to 18 total battles for a more focused, tactical experience:
    • 8 fights in the first region
    • 7 fights in the second region
    • 1 final King fight: a win or die challenge
    • 2 optional Mouse fights (quick start available from run 3 onwards)

  • Goal: Shorter, smoother progression without sacrificing strategic depth.

King Ghosts
  • The ghost decks of your Kings now earn your Leaderboard points until they are defeated and replaced by a new contender!

Souls – New Permanent Currency
  • Earned by retiring Heroes.

  • Souls can be spent to:

    • Unlock new starting deck options

    • Reroll Legendary Heroes from a chosen region

    • Occasionally purchase armor upgrades in towns

  • Souls carry over between runs.

Speed System Rework
  • The Speed value now represents the exact number of ticks between Hero turns.

  • Weapon speeds now range between 40 and 80, with total battle length at 1,500 ticks.

  • Designed for clearer pacing and smaller gaps between fast and slow weapons.

Health and Spell Progression
  • All Heroes now have higher hit points, supporting more defensive and control-based strategies.

  • All spells level up faster to match the shorter run length.

  • Increased focus on team synergy rather than pure value stacking.

Heal Efficiency
  • Now affects all effects that restore or increase Hitpoints,
    including spells from Meerkat, Crocodile, and Panda.


NEW AND UPDATED CONTENT
Unlockables
  • New Hero: Hedgehog

  • New Weapon: Fauchard

  • New Armor: Regeneration

  • New Relics: Several additions expanding build variety

Spells
  • Lynx now uses the former Gorilla spell (Chance to gain Victory Points).

  • Gorilla gains a new spell that reduces enemy Speed.

  • Bunny now heals allies in its row while increasing Spell Power.

  • Hippo now steals VP from the lowest health ally to heal himself.


RELICS
Reworks and Adjustments
  • Elemental Damage: buffed scaling and progression.

  • Speed Buff for Slow Weapons: rebalanced for the new speed system.

  • Heal Efficiency: adjusted for expanded effect scope.

  • Crit Chance after Spell: significantly increased.

  • Mana on Stun: removed.

  • Retaliate: now triggers only on melee attacks.

New Relics
  • Poison on Stun – adds toxic synergy to control builds.

  • Slow Weapon Power – slow weapons now grant additional Spell Power.


ARMOR AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Armor attribute scaling adjusted to the new maximum rank of 18.

  • Minor buffs: Poison on Hit, Crit Chance, Hitpoints.

  • Minor nerf: Spell Power.

  • Major rework: Speed, to align with the new tick system.

Heroes have health classes that determine how high their health can roll. We are using those numbers to adjust their rolls.

3025 - Mirage

Yooooo! Super excited to announce, the Demo for 3025 is out right now!!!

What to Expect?

The Demo has about an hour of content, there's even some new features that most Playtesters haven't seen yet.

The Demo has gone through Playtesting and I have spent many nights trying to make it as polished as possible. But, at the end of the day I am limited on time and resources so If there are any bugs please let me know and I will patch them as fast as humanly possible.
