The access for the Chrono Odyssey Closed Beta is now being granted.

To ensure a stable queue environment and smooth service for all players, access is not being granted all at once but in phases. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding any delays in receiving access.

Server Regions & Selection

The Closed Beta servers will be available in the following regions:

- North America (NA)

- Asia (ASIA)

And each region will have six servers to choose from (e.g. NA-1 to NA-6).

※ You can create multiple characters on a single server.

※ You must have characters on the same server in order to play together.

(ex. Players from NA-1 can only play with players from NA-1)

Research Story - Mikixen
Several polishing changes in v0.13.15:

Controls
Hotbar + Toolbox controls & UI
- Items are now automatically held when selected. You can still 'keep' items into your bag.
- Added 'Hold hotbar items automatically' toggle in gameplay options. Default is on, though for the most of Early Access (before v0.13.15), the default has been off.
- A held item is kept when opening the toolbox/equipping a tool.
- [KBM] Toolbox closes when clicking to equip a tool.
- [Visual] While trowel has a crop, hotbar items will have lowered opacity (since they can't be used).
- [Visual] Added cross icon and lowered opacity when tool is not being used (i.e. when the player is holding an item).
- [Visual] Recoloured toolbox. Image for Toolbox tutorial is also updated.
Dev note: Since the above changes how the game feels to play, I thought to share more about the reason behind the change.

Now and then, I get feedback regarding the controls for hotbar/tools in the game. I think most of it stems from the fact that Research Story gives permanent tools a separate inventory from all the other obtainable items, which is different from how several well-known games in the genre do it. While this has its own perks (tools don't take up the usual bag inventory/you won't forget them in a chest), players may find it more cluncky and unfamiliar. I've given it a lot of thought throughout development, and without re-doing how the game handles tools/bag inventory, I've tried to further improve this aspect of the game.

If you prefer the previous controls, you can toggle 'Hold hotbar items automatically' in Options > Gameplay to Off.
Dialogue
- [Keyboard] Dialogue options can now be cycled through with up/down or up/down arrow keys.
- [Keyboard] Interact/Enter can be used to choose an option.

General Changes

Creature Pen
- Adjusted collision box for adding Feed to creature pen trough.
- Added white outline to trough when hovered over.
- On rainy days, creature pens now have a leaf shelter for creatures (purely cosmetic). The leaf shelter can be opened/closed.

Creature UI
- Animal portraits are better centered.

Furniture Interaction
- The Stone Bathtub can now be entered to regenerate Energy.

Options
- Added 'Time pauses at 2AM' gameplay option. Default is Off.

Misc
- Fish bait is also shown in the fishing rod above player's head when switching to Fishing Rod.
- Adjustments to several NPC cutscenes: the player will return to where they entered the map instead of where the cutscene ended.

Fixes
- Fixed a typo in Theo's Yellow Heart cutscene.
- Fixed a typo in Let's Make Some! (11) notice.
- Fixed being able to place items in hotsprings.
- Fixed a misalignment of player customisation in a cutscene with Vallee in the Puzzle Cave.
- Fixed a misalignment of player customisation that can happen during Spring/Autumn Festival cutscenes.
- Fixed held item being drawn above player's head during certain Hangout Activities.

More of such small adjustments to come as we prepare for 1.0! ^_^

Hi everyone,

We have released a new patch for demo and have addressed some the feedback from the community.
Again, thank you for helping us improve the Clawed experience. It really is appreciated.

The details:

-The save game update bug has been fixed, however it will require a fresh start/save file to be compatible with future updates.

-Fixed Audio sliders not working correctly in the audio settings.
-Weather Volume now has a slider in the audio settings
-A sprint Toggle option is now available under control settings (Gamepad player rejoice!)

-Adjustments have been made to global illumination in response to feedback the game is a bit too dark. Additional lights have also been added to South Main Street. We will keep monitoring the feedback on this.
-new environment objects have been added to assist with directing players towards items/locations required for progression

-Item stack sizes have been increased to improve inventory management
-the new Flashlight now dims when reading notes (You know, allowing you to actually read them....)
-Ambient audio levels and dino noises have been raised. We are also working on more ambient improvements
-Fixed a save bug when trying to save in the viewing towers.


We will have more updates rolling out over the next week. Here are some of the focus points:

-Dino respawning after a save will be addressed.
-A Objective list will be added next to your inventory screen
-Dino reactions to being shot will be improved.
-Dinos occasionally/briefly pausing before attacking will be addressed
-We will be adding a tranquilizer rifle to the demo for a non-lethal option
-Crouching IS being added to the game
-A Map item will be implemented for different Park Areas.
As we have already mention in the previous posts, Co-op is will be unlocked in the main menu once the work on the above has been rolled out. Won't be long!

Thank you so much to everybody who has believed in this project so far, you all mean a lot and are incredibly appreciated!

I thought I would take this first update to share with you where the game is heading over the next year with our roadmap!

The first few months are going to focus on fixes and improvement based on feedback from people like yourself! This includes changes to the game economy, adding flare to the scoring and animations, as well as all new features like the rainbow fish (which counts as any colour) and trinkets to create all new combinations with.

Following on from that the focus will be on adding new mechanics, such as the sky fishing biome, an arcade mode that allows endless fishing separate to the story and the continuation of Stu's story itself.

We return yet again with another WARNO - SOUTHAG preview; this time focusing on the third of four Operations: Hydra.

WARNO - SOUTHAG’s Strategic Situation

In WARNO - SOUTHAG, the Warsaw Pact sees the southern front in West Germany to be a largely secondary effort at first. As such, the Czechoslovak People’s Army only launches a series of fixing attacks early in World War III, to keep local NATO forces in place, but they are mostly perfunctory.

After several small-scale battles, and a failed offensive by the Soviet Central Group of Forces defeated near Nuremberg, a reformed SOUTHAG command is ready to take the fight to the communists. A daring plan is devised, which sees first a series of fixing attacks keeping the Warsaw Pact in place, while a massive counter-offensive across the Iron Curtain is unleashed in the second phase.


In this second stage, NATO briefly breaches neutral Austria’s borders in order to outflank and surprise the Czechoslovakians. Soon after, and for the first time during WARNO’s frontline, the war is brought to communist territory.

From reluctant socialist Czechoslovakians, with the Soviet repression after the Prague Spring of 1968 still acutely felt not only in its society but also in the ranks of the ČSLA, the army now turns to defend its home territory - and does so with renewed vigor.

Hydra

SOUTHAG’s coordinated and aggressive counter-offensive has put the Czechoslovakian forces in a difficult position. Now turned to fighting for every inch of their own territory, the communists have been pushed back on a broad front, while a swift and highly mobile flanking assault is threatening to cut open the rear of the Czechoslovak People’s Army completely.

Across the southern front, Warsaw Pact units have been forced on the back foot, including retreat, but the withdrawal is severely hampered by a relentless NATO that harasses the enemy at every turn. After several pitched battles, the Czechoslovakian city of Plzeň has become the final battleground. It is one of the last chances for the communists to halt the multi-pronged NATO advance.

The Czechoslovakian 1st Tank Division will do the heavy lifting in this Operation. The formation’s T-72M-EM3 battle tanks and Motostrelci infantry in BVP-1s, backed by Vysadkáři special forces, have to fight against no less than five different NATO formations converging on the battlefield. Hence the name Hydra.

The player as the ČSLA commander does battle against a mobile spearhead of the French 6th Light Armored and 11th Paratrooper Division. Plus follow-up forces of the West German 1. Luftlande and the 4. Panzergrenadier Division, and further units from the 1st Canadian Division.

The Hydra Operation won’t be a walk in the park. You will need to repel the final combined NATO assault while defending against a variety of different attack avenues from the west, north, and east. Defending the battlefield, you might want to emphasize a defense in depth, or perhaps a wiser approach would be to split your forces? If each individual NATO sector can be captured, the respective reinforcements and supply lines will be severed, which will give you a little bit more breathing space.





WARNO - SOUTHAG Expansion In Short

WARNO - SOUTHAG is WARNO’s second expansion after WARNO - NORTHAG and showcases the fighting in southern West Germany near the Alps and on the Czechoslovakian frontier. In the southern reaches of Germany, the Warsaw Pact with the Soviet Central Group of Forces, bolstered by the communist Czechoslovakians, battles against a counter-attacking NATO SOUTHAG command led by France, with American, West German, Canadian, and reinforcing Spanish troops.
