The Link - Masonx

NOTE: This update is relatively large. If you experience a **freeze after starting motion capture**, it is usually caused by a Link's data is corrupted **delete the problematic Link** and **recreate it** should solve the issue.

Major Updates

  1. The Link no longer displays a CMD window during startup, and startup speed has been improved.

  2. Ultra Tracking Mode for wrist-to-mouse has been temporarily removed. A new "Ultra Tracking Mode" has been added in The Link's "Settings", which can simultaneously track fingers and full-body movement (higher performance requirement). When enabled, custom hand gesture training can be added to any Link. You may enable or disable this mode depending on your model performance.

  3. Added "Head Horizontal Rotation" Input, You can download and check the examples in "Basic Template" in The Link Setting, *Browse Models*. Adjust the input and output parameters to achieve smooth and natural head-controlled camera movement.

  4. Keyboard recording now includes "Recording with Time Interval", which preserves the exact press and release timing of both keyboard and mouse input.

  5. Added "Gamepad Output"(experimental): You can assign gamepad output to a specific Link. The required virtual gamepad driver will auto-install on first use. A hardware controller developed by MasonX that can interacts directly with Link logic is coming soon.

  6. Page Toggle and Link Toggle now support **delayed activation and delayed deactivation**. (Note: When using multiple outputs, execution order follows top-to-bottom list order.)This provides finer control when toggling states dynamically.

  7. Keyboard recording now supports **Speech-to-Text**. This simply calls the native Windows Speech-to-Text API. Huge thanks to **Pokeytoes** and **VVRunner** for this amazing discovery.

Experience Improvements

  1. Voice recognition engine has been rewritten. Recognition response is faster. Try to avoid very short command phrases.If speech recognition is unavailable, The Link will auto-diagnose and show possible causes.

  2. New Link Controller output now default set to **Hold** mode.

  3. Wrist to mouse output now also defaults set to **Hold** mode.

  4. Recording window now stays reliably on top of borderless games when recording poses or selecting trigger areas.

  5. Improved coordination between link control instructions to reduce interference.

  6. New improved new-user Guide.

  7. For First-time installation Users, Default Turn off voice command change from "System off" to "System deactivate"

  8. For First-time installation Users, Now get an optimized **MasonX Faorites** preset.

  9. On non-English systems, The Link will automatically switch the input method to English during key recording.

Performance and Stability

  1. Cleanup speed on software exit has been significantly improved, reducing lingering background processes.

  2. Optimized performance degradation that could occur after repeatedly opening and closing Link UI windows.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue where disabling mirror mode could cause auto-activation to fail.

  2. Fixed an issue where deleting a Link without unchecking associated connections could cause a software freeze.

  3. Fixed an issue where hover tooltips did not update immediately after saving a Link.

  4. Fixed hover tooltips not reflecting real-time key logic changes.

  5. Fixed an issue where creating a new model could reset auto-activation or raise-hands-to-exit to voice control mode.

  6. Fixed occasional missing repeat-click symbols and hold indicators.

  7. During recording, if a key is held while the mouse leaves the recording area, the release action is now completed automatically.

We’ve been sweeping them up, and making sure your spells actually do what they’re supposed to. Here’s what’s new:

Thank you all for your patience, this update took a bit longer to finish, but it’s a big one!


Major Improvements
  • Visible water in Aqueducts — you can now see water flowing when connected to a Water Pump.

  • Fixed water grid handling when removing reservoirs.

  • Large buildings no longer disappear when only partially in view.

  • Prevented building near the map edge, as it could cause rare crashes.

  • Decorations no longer have stability values (they couldn’t be repaired anyway).

  • Optimized resource transport in late-game cities — workers should now move more efficiently.

  • Improved character movement — people won’t “slide” or pause briefly when turning on slower systems.

  • Optimized several decoration models for faster loading and lower memory usage.


Building Movement System

The new building movement feature is finally ready! You can now move built structures and decorations with full functionality. Here’s everything that had to be implemented to make the building movement feature work properly:

  • Building grid now appears while moving (same as during building placement).

  • Building rotation and entrance points adjust dynamically.

  • Thicker grid lines match the building’s footprint.

  • ESC cancels movement safely.

  • Handles both even and odd-sized buildings correctly.

  • Fixed visibility when dragging a building off-screen.

  • Added blue screen overlay when moving mode is active.

  • All other shortcuts are disabled during movement (except ESC and Grid (G)).

  • Game pauses while moving to prevent issues.

  • A hint panel appears in the center of the screen for movement controls.

  • F8 (photo mode) disabled during building movement.

  • Grid toggle shortcut works as usual.

  • Added hit meshes so decorations can be selected and moved properly.

  • No overlapping with existing buildings.

  • Temporarily removes the moving building from terrain data for smooth repositioning.

  • Specialized handling for water and hillside buildings (can only be placed in valid terrain).

  • Animals move together with their farm.

  • Opening a building’s movement mode automatically closes its management panel.

  • Full handling for Water Pumps, Reservoirs, and Aqueducts after movement.

Coming Next

The next update will focus on trade system polishing and core gameplay balance.
I’ll also separate Food and Luxury Food indicators, which caused the most confusion early on.

Mr Toilet - Radikate

Hey folks!

It’s been just a month since we started working on Mr Toilet, and things are finally starting to flush properly. The bathroom is getting busier, messier, and somehow… alive.

Here’s what we’ve added and fixed lately:

Smarter NPCs: they now buy drinks, admire themselves in the mirror, and even try sneaking in without paying.
Dirt & cleaning system: floors, toilets, sinks, mirrors - everything gets dirty and needs your attention (yes, even unclogging).
Stock system: toilet paper, soap, trash bags - all consumable, all restockable.
Expanded interactions: pick up NPCs, throw them out, or discipline them with your mop.
Radial tool menu: faster switching between your cleaning weapons.
Trash collection & disposal: full bags now go straight to the dumpster.
Massive visual overhaul: We've redesigned the whole toilet and its surroundings!

There’s still a ton to do, but the core systems are finally in and working surprisingly well (most of the time). Thanks for sticking around and watching us turn this mess into a game.
