Sellsword Tales Prologue - Paleoman

This is an early demo version v0.1.9.8, which contains basic mechanics, animated scenes, artwork, and quests.

Approximate playtime:

Skipping all dialogues and lose fights, completing only the main quest - 15-20 minutes.

Reading dialogues and lose fights, and completing only the main quest - 35-45 minutes.

Reading dialogues and lose fights, and completing all quests - 1-1.5 hours.

Reading dialogues, trying to win fights and completing all quests - ~1.5-2 hours.

Was just going to do a small maintenance update but turned out to be a big one. (The paladin procrastination is real 🤦‍♂️)

Improvements/Fixes
Removed blurring in Swamp Wilderness
Fixed gold not saving sometimes
Dual wield autoattacks now take main hand element, instead of requiring each hand to have the right element
Reduced monster hybrid skill damage (75% > 50%), these skills scaled too high due to monsters having alot of both ATK and MATK
Disabled combo ready for monsters (not summons)
Fixed some issues with Party UI
Items in storage now automatically gain substats
Skills now show its damage type in UI (Melee, Magic, Ranged)
Negative status effects now shows popup
Fix some issues with skill usage when silenced

LeechVale
Party bonuses are now reduced if maximum player level gap in party is > 15
Each level beyond 15 reduces the party bonuses by 5%
At a level gap of 35, party bonuses are reduced to 0

Status Damage Revamp
Poison New Formula: Damage = (100 + STR + AGI) / 4 * stacks
Poison: removed stack limit, scales fully with aspd and hits
Poison: removed damage scaling from skill level (fix inconsistencies with Enchant Poison Lv5 vs Venom Strike Lv10)
Poison: No longer does hp% dmg
Bosses no longer immune to poison
Enchant Poison status effects only applied by melee attacks
Enchant Poison status effects disabled for clones
Hexbrand Fixed
Bleed now damages 4% hp per second, scales with StatusDmg%
Guardian Bond now heals 4% hp per second, scales with Healing%

Reflect Damage & Counter Stance Revamp
New formula: Reflect Damage = (100 + DEF + FlatDEF/2) * 4 * Reflect%
Counter Slash: now works with combo ready, melee% & taunt/cutter debuffs and stat scalings
Counter Slash: now applies leech and autocasts

Boss/Monster Behaviour
Make bosses more challenging and interesting to fight
Spell names are displayed at the beginning of cast instead of the end
Boss now target a random player in range with spells, instead of being taunt locked
Boss targeted spells have splash
Added wide status effect attacks to bosses
Boss minions spawned in a much wider area
Minions no longer auto change target if boss is hit
Non-hostile monsters no longer have cast detection (makes things easier for new mages)
Added cooldowns for Large Area, Medium Area and Wide status skills.

Autocasts were too strong across the board, especially the bolts which were balanced by long cast times

With this video, I wanted to show how puzzle-solving mechanics work in the game, as well as the overall concept and absurd tone of the world.
The logic in Legends of Cumans doesn’t always make sense and that’s what makes it interesting

In this bizarre puzzle, naked Cumans are protesting against clothes in front of a church.
The priest refuses to look at them and asks for Blinding Pills to erase his eyes so he doesn’t have to see the “sin.”
To help him, you’ll need to solve several smaller puzzles, collect coins, and buy the Blinding Pills from the pharmacy in Reverdel.
Once you give them to him, he drinks them, loses his sight, and lets you enter the church where a secret chest awaits.

Horse Runner DX is generally a relaxed game, but it can get quite fast-paced. Some players who are sensitive to motion experienced motion sickness. With this update, I've reworked the camera and added new settings so that everyone can now enjoy the game!

Here are the improvements coming with Update 1.3.0:

Motion Sickness Improvements
  • Improved camera: The camera has been redesigned to reduce vertical movement. Additionally, visibility on steep slopes has been improved.

  • Cleaned up graphics settings: The "Reduce motion" option in the settings menu has been replaced with a "Screen shake" setting. This makes it clearer what this setting does.

  • Motion sickness adjustments: In the graphics settings, you can now disable the parallax effect of the background. This makes the background static and greatly reduces overall movement. This setting helps motion-sensitive players avoid motion sickness.

Accessibility Improvements
  • Improved UI: The currently highlighted UI element will now be more clearly emphasized. This applies to buttons and all other interactive elements in the game. Reminder: You can switch between mouse, keyboard and gamepad at any time during the game.

  • Motion sickness assistant: The first time you launch the latest version, a wizard will appear. There, you can select whether you want to reduce movement in the game or not. The corresponding settings will be applied depending on your selection.
