Idle Tycoon Manufacturing - Eragone

Today’s update focuses on reducing lag and improving the overall gameplay experience !

Changes :

  • The settings menu and its sub-menus are no longer preloaded; they now load when opened and unload once closed.

  • The R&D menu is no longer preloaded; it now loads when opened and unloads once closed.
    (Other menus are not affected, at least for now.)

  • The crafting info menu is now aligned to the right.

  • The Tab menu no longer has priority over active objectives, so it will now be the one that moves.

  • Locked banner buttons are no longer preloaded until the corresponding upgrade is unlocked.

Optimization :

  • The number of cameras has been reduced thanks to the merging of settings sub-menus.

Added :

  • It is now possible to press Escape to close the sub-menus in the settings menu.

Bug Fix :

  • Employees are now immediately removed from the Tab as soon as you click “Fire”, allowing you to recruit as quickly as you dismiss someone.

Most of you should see a noticeable FPS boost, especially on lower-end setups. You might experience minor micro-lags when loading menus, but high-end configurations shouldn’t notice any difference.

Thank you to everyone who played the Ember & Blade demo, shared your thoughts, streamed, or left a review. We spent the past few days watching your runs, reading every comment, and laughing (and sweating) along with your reactions.

Next Fest has been a huge moment for our team.
We learned a lot, saw where we can do better, and found out what parts of the game truly resonated. After a short breather, we’ll be diving into a full post-mortem and mapping out the road ahead.

Patch 6 for the MENACE demo is now live.

Bugfixes
  • FIXED Accessory 'Combat Stims' now refund all AP lost by Suppression.

  • FIXED AI getting stuck when trying to use skills on a tower which require the unit to be deployed.

  • FIXED Changing the resolution in the player settings didn't work with some monitor combinations.

  • FIXED Movement range UI disappeared after destroying IEDs or after using certain offmap abilities.

  • FIXED Tripod laser didn't have a vent skill.

  • FIXED Pressing Q/E before the mission result screen showed up, caused the camera to spin infinitely.

  • FIXED Demoting squad leaders refunded less promotion points than displayed.

  • FIXED When the active unit was killed during it's turn, the unit panel UI disappeared for all other units.

  • FIXED Some vehicle weapons showed a different number of ammunition during the mission preparation and during the mission.

  • FIXED Turrets are now displayed at their correct location in the mission preview.

  • FIXED After using the offmap ability 'Strafing run' other offmap abilities didn't display their range anymore.

  • FIXED Changed layout of same buildings so units don't get stuck anymore.

  • FIXED Various typos / descriptions.

Improvements
  • "New Game" dialog can be closed now.

Balancing
  • Reduced threat of Skybots (drones) to the AI.

Known Issues
  • Perk 'Run and Gun' doesn't update AP cost after shooting once.

  • Pinned down units can still capture a zone.

The weather's getting colder: which means halloween is here in Colhen!

Are you planning some mischievous tricks with your pumkin friend? Or are you after some doughnuts and treats from bosses?

 

Event Details

1.You can either:

  • Take a photo with your pumkin friends around town, or on your back.

  • Take a photo of the pumkins and doughnuts from defeating bosses.

2. Share the photo of your choice to the event channel.

*After the halloween theme is gone, you can still use the Pumpkin Doll Ornament, or any other outfits/items with a 'pumpkin' on it.

 

Event Participation Format

Reward Details

  • If the total number of participants is 310 or more at the end of the event, all players will receive 15 GM Coins.

  • Event participants will earn an additional 25 GM Coins, regardless of the total number of participants.

 


 

Note:

  • This event is only available on the official Discord server. You can only participate with a Discord account that has joined the server.

  • End of Event Rewards will be awarded during maintenance on November 18, 2025 and can only be obtained on the official Discord server.

  • Participation using posts and media unrelated to the event will not be recognized and may result in your post being removed.

  • Stealing someone else's entry will result in your entry being disqualified, and you will not be able to participate in this event again.

  • All Submittions may be used in our official social accounts.

Fix for the Unity vulnerability

Hello, this is the WAR OF BANNERS development team.

Based on the feedback we have received from players and our internal discussions, we have decided to fundamentally change the combat system.

While the current real-time combat structure provided tension and immersion, we have also received feedback pointing out the difficulty of precise control and strategic decision-making.

After extensive internal testing and review, the development team has decided to transition to a turn-based combat system.

This change is intended to make the flow of combat clearer and to strengthen tactical decision-making and unit management.
The new turn-based combat system will retain the strengths of the current design while allowing players to carefully plan and execute each action for a more deliberate tactical experience.

The transition work is currently underway, and more detailed information will be shared through future development notes.
