The automatic demolition of estates was suspended in December 2021; however, after careful consideration, we have decided to resume auto-demolition with the release of Patch 6.3.
After the release of Patch 6.3, wards 25 through 30 will be added to each of the five residential districts proper as well as their subdivisions. Plots in all 60 new wards will be available for purchase via the lottery system. Apartments will also be added to all wards.
The Bits & Bops Kickstarter is entering its FINAL 24 HOURS!
Remember those stretch goals?
Our final stretch goal is a CUSTOM MIXTAPE EDITOR! If we reach this goal, you'll be able to build your own Bits & Bops levels and share them with your friends!

I'm giving out free Steam product codes to anyone who completes the feedback survey at the end.
I am looking for a limited number of beta testers. The first few people to reply expressing interest will receive a beta product key.
During the game, a Google Form will open looking for feedback. After you have completed as much of the game as you care to, please fill out the entire form. After the form is submitted, I will contact you privately to confirm your product key is coming.
In case you would like to submit feedback, report bugs, or ask questions about the game, I will provide an email address to send them to.
So for context, there are Six prologue for characters. Madison and Tori will share a prologue story because they tie into it (and also because for the first half, Tori would be technically underage. To avoid that bit of blurry lines, the first half will focus on Madison while the second will focus on Tori after she is over 18. Any mention of Tori in Madison's half is just that..a mention. She is not portrayed.)
So with that context, I am nearly halfway through the Madison/Tori prologue and the other 5 are done content wise.
Coding Change
When I am not rendering new scenes, I am also making changes to behind the scenes code. For example, I am changing how the Gallery works. Will you see a major difference? No. The reason for these changes is simplicity and lack of crashing on because of an error I made. TLDR - I am creating a dictionary for different functions so that I have a standardize format to follow for entries and I decrease how many mistakes I make. :)
Happy new year! It is a good time to make an update on the game's development! Since I am working full-time on a different project of mine, progress isn't fast.
But I've still done quite a bit from when I launched the Steam page.
2 out of 8 planned story quests have been implemented, the dialogue system is shaping up nicely, and there's a quest log UI now.
Hoping to do much more work in January as I am preparing for the Steam Next Fest this February. After the Next Fest, it will be the time for BTG to launch!
So, that's all of the news I have, until next time - and check out my other games meanwhile!
