Improvements & Fixes
Since 0.7.2, we have been hard at work making improvements to every aspect of Blightbound, especially focusing on bug/crash fixes, crossplay compatibility and stability, console performance, and AI improvements. These improvements and many more will all arrive in the 1.0 full release!
We heard your feedbacks and we modified the accuracy and reduced the damage of the weapons. We still need to adjust some things like fire rate, recoil, etc. but definitely aiming feels better than in the last patch.
Warcry: Challenges will feature 3 chapters, each of them featuring their own biome and art style.
Ready to kick some asses?
You will start in The Crypt, an underground mausoleum filled with Jucatis, these insectoid bastards!
There, you will get familiar with the game pace, learn to bunny hop like a pro and unlock your first special power: slow motion!
For the 2nd part of the game, you will head to The Ruins.
Filled with vegetation, this environment is home to kamikaze explosive creatures as well as the Hyperion Bull, a 3m tall warrior whose only wish is to swing his huge sword in your face.
Slide under low passages, jump above deep holes, avoid deadly traps and shotgun kiss your enemies with style!
Your new power, the devastating Shockwave, will help you to take care of all these bastards!
And last but not least, The Forge is a massive ancient underground industrial complex featuring larger levels and the most powerful enemies.
It’s definitely the deadliest zone of Warcry: Challenges.
Use bumpers, sliders or your grappling hook to gain speed and fly over lava while shredding powerful demons into pieces!
Don’t get fooled by his IGN, this guy is closer to an angel or the opposite of the Harry Potter soul-devouring ghosts. He is 27, comes from India, and has a real passion for motorbikes. Meet Demonterx.
What is your job? Tell us about it.Currently I am the Lead for the Embedded QA team for Realm of the Mad God
Any hidden talents or hobbies?Am more of a motorcycle adventure traveler. My hidden talent is also related to my hobbies – I can fix any motorcycle so it can get me to the next garage for repairs.
How did you end up on DECA?I wanted to work for a studio that operated on a confined smaller scale so I could contribute more to the product, and DECA was on the top 5 when I decided to move from a bigger gaming studio I was a part of.
Did you play RotMG before? To be honest, on and off during my working hours back in my old days, we used office computers to play multiplayer games other than what we were supposed to work on.
RotMG was a flash game back then – low on system resources and left no traces in the browser. 😉
Favorite Class, Dungeon, and Item?Class – Archer – cuz of the rate of fire that makes me run and shoot with the ST set on Dungeon – HTT Item – My Admin Sword – cuz only a few in the realm has access to it
What other games do you play?Am more of a console guy cuz I treasure my consoles very much – still play on my Playstation 1 and NES till my thumbs sore out.
What makes RotMG unique? The number one reason is the fact that RotMG appeals to gamers who are into retro visuals and I think RotMG nails it.
What are the things you love the most in the game?Grinding, definitely grinding. Also our beautiful community
What would you change? For sure the Realm Map, because now I know it like the back of my hand.
I see RotMG with more content for the end-user. For sure as the game will evolve in ways one cannot anticipate.
Join Kuba Cislo - Project Warlock II's dev and Dawid Korzekwa - the game's principal artist as they take you through the development of the upcoming game. Today's episode will peek behind the curtains of level design with David showing his craft in that department.
As for Project Warlock II - it's a new take on the game you played – in some ways similar, in others – totally redefined. As someone put it – Project Warlock II is to Project Warlock what Quake was to Doom. Hopefully this is a sentiment you can see and feel throughout.
Also – if you can’t make it to watch live today: see the archived episodes of “The Road to Project Warlock II” on Retrovibe’s Youtube channel and while you’re at it – also check out the other dev’s streams as well for spin on classic metroidvania B.I.O.T.A., precision platformer Janosik 2, post apo pixel actioner in The Looter and steampunk tactical rpg in Shardpunk: Verminfall on the same channel.
