Patch Notes (Including what is still in the beta branch): 1. New Heroes (Ten new uniques, 85 regular heroes) along with 32 new soldier types that will go along with hero missions.
2. New Missions (Added missions for 9 new heroes, Iruril's story will continue to unfold, Landis will get his FlameDragon sword!)
3. New options when starting new game (including deactivate "Quick Recovery" and "Defense Limit")

Updates to the Beta Branch next week 1. Battle system Re-writing battle system, new battle system should have an added direction guide, this function can support our latter plans to add geographical features (such as bridges, lakes, canyons, swamps, or highlands)

Version 0.2.10 (Hero Pack #2) has officially left the beta branch, and is now in the stable branch! We'd like to thank everyone who downloaded the beta and provided feedback. You do not need to unsubscribe from the beta branch if you are currently using it, as both beta and stable branches have been updated. Now, on to the details of the major changes we've been testing on the beta branch.
Three New Heroes
Ralf the Jester, Asariel the Angel, and Curtis the Boxer are now available to find as wanderers in your endless runs. Each also has a unique rescue battle you'll need to overcome to unlock them, so get out there and take it to the Cult!
New Reserve Party System
When you start a mission, you will now be asked to take along some reserve party members. Reserve party members do not lose stamina when in reserve, and can be swapped with another hero freely via the Party menu. Any rescues or reinforcements you gather during the mission will be added directly to reserves, so you can use them more freely immediately.
Battle Menu Redesign
We've made the text a bit smaller and the menus more streamlined in battles. It's now easier to see and choose from a hero's skills at a glance.

2021-02 - 1.0.2.1 - Fixed the Melee mode timer not pausing when the game is paused, when playing singleplayer - Fixed the end-of-round screen not working correctly if the round ended while a game was paused
Physic rigidbodies have been migrated to the new Data-Oriented architecture to get some CPU performance improvements. It will ultimately allow to offload the collisions detection and resolving to secondary thread, yielding a massive fps improvement and steady fps during collision heavy situations. Again this was a heavy refactor, some regressions might have slipped through.

Divided Reigns is excited to have been selected to partake in this years Steam Game Festival. As such, we have went ahead with releasing our demo to everyone wanting to go through the opening acts of the main story instead of waiting on launch day April 2nd.
