Hi everyone, in this month's update the entire map has been remade, and I think it is the biggest change that game has experienced since the early access release. I liked the new map a lot more, and I think most of you will also like it. Other than that, this update also includes some bug fixes, a few UI improvements such as being able to close some menus with the "ESC" button, and a brand new and detailed filter system.

The old filter system had some problems, for example, it was hard to see the symbols and it wasn't really detailed. Also, the color-coding wasn't proper, since every country had a different color for their background. But most importantly, the old filter system wouldn't work with the new map, since now we have city symbols instead of city names. So, I remade the entire filter system by also adding some new cool features such as adding cities to your favorites. Now you can easily follow which cities you have a workshop or shop in, or which cities have a high development.

First of all, we would like to introduce the new content which all of the users are curious about.

1. A new character, “Mika”
A new pop-idol character, “Mika” will join <3on3 FreeStyle: Rebound> as a Point Guard who has a new variety of pass skills. Also, you will definitely be the first pick by your teammates if you go with Mika as her skills are especially useful in giving buff to teammates. You may expect how a worldwide pop-idol Mika will play an important role in “West Fox”, “Big Flow”, and “Agent A”.


2. A new court, “Fox Stadium”
A new court, “Fox Stadium” has come with the new character, “Mika”. For the next 3 weeks, you will play 3on3 mode exclusively in “Fox Stadium” and you will acquire a “Free. T concert ticket” once you complete your 3on3 match. “Free. T concert tickets” can be exchanged into ‘Free. T Girl Group Accessories,” “Intensive Manuals,” and other various items.

The future update of <3on3 FreeStyle: Rebound>
in 2021


2021 will be a prosperous year of <3on3 FreeStyle: Rebound>.
First of all, we are going to continuously release competition modes with our newly updated ‘Cross-platform’, such as Ranked mode, Ranked 3x3 mode, and Match Up mode. I already feel your passion towards being a high-ranker.

Secondly, we will add new Crew contents, and strengthen our community system which is our primary goal. We are also preparing a crew competition and a tournament between higher crews, which we think it would be a perfect chance for crew to show its true quality.

Furthermore, we promise to improve play environment on 3on3 FreeStyle by elaborately fixing and updating existing contents, continuously releasing new characters and making character balance better.
We guarantee our continuous updates to amuse you and hope we could all recover from 2020 and bring only greatness onto 2021!

Dear Card Hunter Players!

The Knights of Unity have arrived! We are the people who will be responsible for the further development of your (as well as our) favorite game: Card Hunter!

Who are we?

The Knights are passionate about board, card and RPG games. We play together, but more importantly, we also create new games together. If you know Scythe: Digital Edition, you may already know us a little. If not, there are other projects that we have worked on which you can be familiar with, namely: Disco Elysium & Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. We are also pretty good Unity engine specialists. Knights’ long term strategy is to develop our own titles for core players (currently we are working on 2 new projects). Our gaming adventure started 5 years ago. At present, we have 100 talented Ladies and Sirs on board, over 90 projects completed and one big “castle” in Poland, as our office. :)

Why are we taking over the responsibility to further maintain and develop Card Hunter?

The reason is simple: we really like this game and we believe that it still has great potential. There are many Knights among us who play Card Hunter and they enjoy it a lot! We will continue the development of this amazing game and strive to make it even more fun for other players. Card Hunter is a type of game that definitely fits perfectly into the scope of titles that we want to work on. It has so much in common with what we like that it was obvious for us that we needed to dive deeper into it. :)

We are passionate about Card Hunter. Right now, we don’t want to reveal anything specific about the game’s future, but be sure to stay around! We are aiming to bring new life into the game and some of our plans are going to be revealed as soon as in Q1 2021.

At this very moment, we are heavily engaged in the transfer process of Card Hunter and are analyzing every technical aspect of the game. With that being said, from this day forward, we are officially taking over the support of the game, so please, do not hesitate to contact us if you encounter any problems!   • New characters: Nutcrackers
    • 5 different styles, 5 different hats, and 1 nutcracker track!


  • New character: Snake

  • Plank O' Wood has a new crispy style.

  • Changed button UI for core gamemodes to better show what the are.

Storymode
  • Beehives can now be collected and used with any other collectible.
  • Lava tiles now are spread out slightly wider. This will greatly increase the amount of tiles overlapping with the left and right lava barrier, making the edge exploit much harder.
  • The first gold ring, when collecting a Bucket O' Fish, now appears twice as far away to give players a chance to know what they're supposed to do.
  • King Kangaroo's Final Showdown
    • You now get three difficulty options when playing the final showdown. Achievements count in all three difficulties, but only real gamers skip easy...
      • Easy
        • Explosive pies in your inventory will never reset.
        • Pie hits don't reset after King Kangaroo dives back into the lava. The hits will only reset if you die.
        • King Kangaroo's health does not reset to the previous checkpoint when you die.
      • Normal
        • Nothing changed from previous update.
      • Good Luck, Bub
        • Original pie timer has been put back into this difficulty.
        • Lava density increased from Easy mode density to Normal mode density.
        • These changes should mimic how the boss was when the game was first released.
    • Saw blades and logs now spawn at the same distance away every time so there is no longer a chance of gaps being too small to jump in between. This also prevents the saw blades from occasionally making an impassible wall.
      • Saw blades spawn increased from 18 to 25 to make the saw blade stage still somewhat of a challenge.
  • Bug Fixes
    • White fade screen no longer gets stuck when pausing right as it comes onto the screen.

Lasertag
  • Increased max players per lobby from 6 to 10.
  • There is now an option to see all players in the match with the option to send Steam friend requests to them.
  • Your weapon selection will no longer reset to the default selected weapons after the first round.
  • You can now shoot thrown items to destroy/explode them.
  • The Magneto Sucker grappling gun will now pull other players toward you when hit.
  • Your character now does the Wilhelm scream when you die.
  • Added several additional random match messages.
  • When selecting weapons, you have the option to sort weapons between weapon type (rifle, shotgun, sniper, etc.)
  • Added a sound for when the a new player enters the match.
  • Added sounds for the cardboard boxes.
  • Spectator Mode
    • When you die, you'll now be transformed into a spooky spirit, free to roam around the map.
    • Spooky Spirits are invisible to all other players,
    • Spooky Spirits have an unlimited supply of Spooky Eggs.
      • There is currently no fire delay when throwing Spooky Eggs. Throw them as fast as you can click.
      • Spooky Eggs act as a small impulse to players inside its hit radius.
  • New Custom Game Options
    • Show Usernames
      - Steam usernames can be displayed over players in the match.
    • Team Size
      - Teams can now be formed!
    • Rounds
      - Games can now be split up into rounds that keep track of amount of kills, deaths, and wins. Default is 1 round, but can be set up to 100.
    • Respawn
      - You can now choose to respawn for a duration of time or by limiting the number of respawns per player.
  • New Items
    • The following items can be found in the weapon shoppe.
    • Snake Shot Rifle - Fast firing rifle that shoots 5 pellets instead of normal bullets.

    • Snake Shot Revolver - A revolver that shoots 5 pellets instead of normal bullets.

    • Toasty Marshmallow Launcher - Shoots fiery marshmallows that ignite enemies.

    • Snowball Launcher - Rapid-fire snowball launcher that reduces enemies' speed and puts out allies on fire.

    • Surrender Flag - New gadget that shields you from taking damage from bullets.

    • Oversized Mouse Trap - A large mouse trap that is sure to fool anyone who wants the delicious cheese!

    • Arabian Sword - Slash opponents with this heavy-hitting sword!

    • Proximity Drone - A drone that patrols the map. When a player gets into proximity, the drone will chase the player until it gets within its explosion radius.... then KABOOM!
  • New Gamemodes
    • Hide and Seek - One team gets 20 seconds to hide. Then it's up to the seekers to find and kill the hiders within the 2.5 minute time limit!
    • Freeze Tag - Each team gets a net launcher and a box cutter. If hit with a net launcher, you cannot move until a teammate (or opponent) slices the net off you. If all of your team gets caught, you lose!
    • Arsonists vs. Snowballs - Each team gets a snowball launcher and a toasty marshmallow shooter. The only damage in this mode is from being ignited by the toasty marshmallows which can only be put out by a teammate's (or other opponent's) snowball launcher.
    • Hot Potato - One unlucky fella has the hot potato. That player has to throw it and hit another player to transfer the potato. The last person holding the potato is exploded. The potato then transfers to another unlucky fella until only one person is left.
    • Gun Game - The first player to get eliminations with all 25 weapons wins!
    Bug Fixes
    • If you get stuck in the falling animation while your velocity is zero, you will automatically jump to assist in getting unstuck.
    • Fixed a hole in China Map and added rock formations in ravine to prevent players from being stuck in the bottom. Also fixed some trees that defied gravity.
    • Weapon names in death feed now use the correct articles "a"/"an".
    • Win screen is now properly centered and changed losing screen.
    • Bullet holes no longer appear on thrown items which would leave the bullet holes floating after the thrown item was either removed or rolled away.
    • Your player no longer gets locked after winning.
    • Sniper projectiles now create bullet holes.
    • Fixed a soft lock that occurred when pressing a keybind to a slot that was not occupied.
Groove Gunner - Chalkairtoe
This update adds the much anticipated practice mode. In practice mode you have the ability to play sections of songs independently, at an adjustable speed, and without failing when your Groove Meter depletes.

Alongside this we've made substantial UI changes with a more consistent look and feel, better text visibility, and more room for future feature additions.

Global leaderboards have been added allowing you to compare your overall performance with all other players. Your highest score (across all difficulties) on each featured each song is used to determine your position on the leaderboard.

Accuracy and timing stats have been added to the score overview, and a new sound has been added to indicate perfect shots (both timing and accuracy).

With have also made the decision to remove the demo from the Steam store at this time. The additional effort required to maintain the demo build alongside the full game is quite substantial given the frequency of changes to the game in Early Access.

This is the final main bug clean-up and polish before we release it to the general public on steam. We will continue to do more polish after release before we drop new features.

Build 20
- Reduced collision checks for the clacker balls and jello objects using parenting.
- Cut out a redundant state in grass that fixes an issue with loading and removes an unneeded collision group.
- Grass now stops growing if you delete or burn the root it grows from.
- Reduced the overhead for the wood-burning object. It is now just one object with 4 sprite states and particle states instead of 4 objects with 4 sprite states and 4 particle states. Putting out burning wood with water now also puts out the particles. They will restart when set on fire again.
- Since a lot of separate object states have been cut out, saving and loading is a lot faster.
- Since a lot of separate object states have been cut out, the game now crashes much less.
- removed the last jello state as it was blurry and still too many states, thus causing lag and instability when there was a ton of junk on the screen.

We announced it last week, and now the Database Beta Update is finally here!
We have released an update for the branch "1.0.5-database"

If you wish to use the latest Database Beta Version update, please select “1.0.5-database” from the Beta tab.
We strongly recommend you to back-up your projects before proceeding to the update.
The default branch remains branch 1.0.4.

But that is not all!
As we understand that the Database Function can be a bit hard to use at first, our power-users Joe, Baz and Justus have prepared some help for you!
The update includes a new sample project featuring two mechanisms, one showing a puzzle mechanism and one showing a level-up system.

With the release of the Database, we have achieved a milestone that will allow you to make deeper, more complex games. It is very exciting to see how you will use it!

A new stable build (0.76.00) is live!

The 0.76.00 update transitions our recent work on the experimental branch to the stable branch, including the new Save Slots, bug fixes, and more polish. Check out the patch notes below if you haven’t been playing on the experimental branch.

One of the bigger behind-the-scenes changes is that save game data has moved, from:
