Hey everyone! First off, we'd like to thank you for downloading and otherwise supporting the development of Lumin's Path in these past weeks. We would like to take the time to tell you a bit more about the context in which the game was made and what the future holds for Lumin’s Path.
Lumin's Path was created in just over 7 weeks as part of a minor program by a 12 member student team with no real prior game development experience. Our assignment was to create a 3D game within those 7 weeks and to achieve a minimum of 900 downloads. Your enthusiasm helped to completely smash that download requirement, so we really want to thank you for that!
Successfully finishing the minor program means that most of us are now gearing up to graduate. This means that we’ll be extremely busy these coming months. And when time becomes scarce it’s important to prioritize what little time you do have. With that in mind some of us are ready to move on from Lumin’s Path, while others feel there is so much more to share…
As you may know, Lumin's Path consists of three levels, of which the third is the ending. This was done in order for us to deliver a 'finished game' or full product within the time constraints specified by our minor program. This means that a lot of our ideas and worldbuilding had to be scrapped in order to meet those constraints.
Those who wish to elaborate on the world in which Lumin’s Path takes place will keep working, though it may take on a different form than that of a videogame. It may take some time to work out the logistics of it all, but look out for more news on that coming soon.
That being said, we ARE still working on a final game update. This update will aim to polish Lumin’s Path to the extent that we are comfortable letting it go.
We hope you've enjoyed walking this path with us! Keep an eye on our Steam page, as well as our socials (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) to stay up-to-date on developments surrounding Lumin’s Path.
From everyone at Buckle Up Games - thank you and we hope to see you soon. Until then, remember - tread lightly...

One of the most incredible things that happened last month was mcqueeb's no hit Noita run. We didn't think it was humanly possible to beat the game without taking any damage. We're glad to be proven wrong. Congrats to mcqueeb!
