Hey everyone, we’re fresh back from San Francisco where we had a great time demoing Wytchwood at the 6th Annual Day of the Devs!
We had an all new demo to show, featuring a more developed intro tutorial to the game. Here’s a peaks at some new places and characters we’ve been working on.
What’s a witch without a creepy house in a swamp to hang out in?
To guide the witch through her quest, this grumpy goat will be around to offer advice.
And speaking of the witch’s quest, it might have something to do with this sleepy lady in this fancy glass casket!
In-game FPS is limited to 60 frame per second. As a result, the game will not take that high CPU as before. For example, it took me more than 50% of CPU (i7-6700) when I ran this game with no dominos or cubes. It is because the FPS was not limited, and it went as high as possible at PC platform. Right now, it only takes around 10% when there is nothing in the game.
This will be our 3rd game working together with Acerola. We’ve been really fortunate to be able to partner with them. When I was in Japan, I had the opportunity to visit with them at their office. They’re so passionate about these games and their fans outside of Japan. And at Kagura Games, we share their passion. Without your support, we couldn’t keep doing what we love. So thank you guys so much!
We hope to continue expanding our partnership with Acerola to continue bringing everyone their wonderful games. Please look forward to our future announcements in regards to that.
In addition, we released Seed of Evil a couple weeks ago. Please check it out if you haven’t yet. It’s a great game by famous Japanese developer, Hasoyua.
We are also planning on releasing Slave’s Sword and Leviathan within the next couple months. We’ll announce official release dates soon. Please look forward to them!
Last but not least, we announced earlier this month that we’ll also be releasing Dungeon Town and Sister Travel towards the beginning of next year. Please add them to your wish list!
