With regard to future updates, we are currently in the process of restructuring our development roadmap to reflect the many requests we’ve received from our users since the Early Access release.
■Development Schedule
First off, we’re prioritizing consideration and implementation of requests and adjustments related to the “enhancement of freedom”.
We also plan on adding a wide variety of features and functions to help further simplify and diversify the game creation process, such as the widely-requested functions for action-RPGs and a “roguelike” theme focusing on random generation features, and more.
Additionally, in order to further reduce the processing load for the player, we are also currently considering a large-scale overhaul to ensure that we can provide the smoothest and most comfortable experience possible.
Of course, in the meantime, we’ll be implementing other updates based on user feedback as well, specifically focusing on improving UI usability and general improvements for beginners in particular. We’re looking forward to receiving even more feedback from our users in order to continue improving and enhancing both the software itself and the user experience.
We apologize for the ongoing wait for the full release, but we hope you can bear with us. In the meantime, look forward to all kinds of new and cool updates and additions to Pixel Game Maker MV!

We are excited to announce the release of the 64-bit version of Pixel Game Maker MV to a new beta branch that is available now.
The beta 64-bit version gives Pixel Game Maker MV access to more memory and makes it better use modern processors. This means you should have less stuttering, less memory-related crashes and just a more stable and smoother experience overall when creating your games.
Please do understand that this version is in a beta stage and we offer it as an option to anyone that would like to try it out.
To make the switch, you can follow these steps:
Open "Properties" for Pixel Game Maker MV in your Steam Library;
Select the "Beta" tab;
Select the option "open_beta64"
Switching to the 64-bit version will not affect your project data, and you can switch back to 32-bit 0.9.2 (open beta) or the default 0.9.1 without worry. Should you wish to revert to the 0.9.1 32-bit version, you can simply choose "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs" and to go back to the 0.9.2 32-bit version you can select the "open_beta" option.
