We're once again back with a chunk of fixes aimed at the recent post-launch problems of Farm DLC.
This time, we will be fixing some more complex issues as in the last week we asked you to bring us your save files along with any bug reports... and you guys delivered!

We received an insane amount of those, and thanks to that we could quickly locate the most complex post-launch issues. Thank you for being so active!

- Fixed a bug with the order "In Deep Water" causing an infinite ending screen.
- Fixed an issue with outlines / highlights not appearing on certain hardware.
- Fixed a bug in the Architect Tool that caused stray thick walls to appear inside homes.
- Changed rewarded cash amount in Farm DLC job orders to more accurately reflect the player's efforts.
- Fixed crashes related to the Forna Cooker Hood, Pavement Cudda, and Taggy Straight Staircase.
- Resolved an issue with wall panels remaining in the player's hand even after switching tools.
- Addressed problems with rain not appearing despite the gloomy weather and other rain-related issues that affected performance.
- Corrected errors in the Luxury Renovation menu's key tips and missing item flipping functionality.
- Fixed a bug where Chajen default lightbulbs would endlessly rush toward the player if aimed at the ceiling.
- Horses now have different colors and can be male as well.
- Audio fixes for Pitchfork, Paint Gun, Alpaca, Yuppi Wardrobe, Havana Commode, Dermallia Toilet, Laptop Fex, Dove Praline Box, Starlet Bunk Bed, Desk Wood, Snowman Cooker, and Imbus Cupboard.
- Corrected the needs display for farm animals, which previously showed blank space instead of "no needs" when animals were satisfied.
- We took care of maps of orders snapping the view into the wrong places when zooming or clicking on certain houses for the first time.
- Fixed materials of the Paxon Cart and Novela Fridge set.
- Resolved a problem with the Haiti items not optimally connecting to walls and to each other.
- Fixed issues with anti-gravitational chickens. They shouldn't walk in the air anymore!
- Fixed a bug with eggs spawning in specific points on the map


Make sure that your game is properly updating!
The version that you should see in the main menu is 1.23111 (bdd96)

If you cannot see any updates in your library, the version is different than the one mentioned, or you're still facing issues after today's update try to verify the integrity of game files:
Go to Steam Library > right-click on House Flipper > Properties > Local Files Tab > Verify integrity of game files.

We found a file getting fixed only through reinstalling the game! In some rare cases, especially when you cannot open the game at all, a reinstall will be needed!
Go to Steam Library > right-click on House Flipper > Manage > Uninstall. Then install the game normally through Steam Library again

We are putting all of our effort into bug fixing at the moment, and we hope it's going to be noticeable in your future gaming sessions. We're also working on a big Farm DLC content update coming in the near future, but that's a topic for another time! For now, that's all the news!

Remember that you can always report an issue found in the Farm DLC by following these steps:
1. If you encounter the bug / crash / freeze, close the game in any way possible.
2. Open windows file explorer (folder icon)
3. Copy the following path: 4. Paste it into the address bar in the file explorer and press "Enter"
5. Locate a folder called "Profiles", right-click on it, and select "Compress to ZIP file"
6. After the zipping process is done, you should see a new zipped "Profiles" folder.
7. Send the zipped "Profiles" folder, as well as 2 files called Player.log and Player-prev.log (found somewhere next to the "Profiles" folder) to us by e-mail at marketing@frozenway.games, with a brief description of your issue.

We know that the release of Farm DLC has been rough for many of you, as there were things blocking your progress, crashing the game for ya, and causing all kinds of different bugs and optimization problems. I feel like you guys deserve an apology and an explanation.

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you guys for reporting the issues you faced. Thanks to all the log files that you sent us, we were able to take a closer look at a plethora of issues and fix them extremely quickly! Other issues, were not so easy to track through the logs, but we managed to fix them anyway!

It turns out that most of the problems happening with Farm DLC were related to its unwanted dependencies on some other DLCs, Pets DLC in particular.

- Getting stuck on loading screens should now be fixed!
- House photographing has been blocking the progress for many of you... Not anymore!
- Building from scratch should now work properly. Go get your architect tool!
- Pouring water for your hens is not going to be problematic anymore.
- Chicken coop assembly should be a walk in the park from now on!
- Vastly improved the visualisation of the final position of your roof during roof placement.
- All the little translation bloopers are now gone!
- Fixed a bug with door and window variants resetting when building house extensions.
- Fixed the pesky grass that was causing problems for players who don't own Garden DLC.
- We've heard that Molly's house had some roof problems. Fixed!
- We took care of the Windmill house loading issue and threw in a few environment optimizations.
- Any problems with scrolling through houses in your laptop should now be gone.
- Fixed a bug related to the ability to build extensions outside the plot.
- Got rid of visual task list errors in case of too many tasks.
- Farm DLC animal icons have been fixed.
- Improvements to bunny movement
- Shop filtering issues have been filtered... hehe!
- Fixed the Freestand Bathtub shop icon.

... and a couple of other tiny improvements and slight optimization tweaks!


UPDATE 17.04:
- Fixed 2 types of issues that were causing a freeze in the photo mode.
- The Farm DLC order map will work smoothly now. No more screen locks!
- Various item assembly issues have been fixed.
- Tiling and painting your balcony floors, as well as platforms works properly now!
- Farm DLC for Mac users is now fully available.


Make sure that your game is properly updating!
The version that you should see in the main menu is 1.23105 (4d8b3)
If you cannot see any updates in your library and the version is different than the one mentioned, try to restart Steam or verify the integrity of game files.

Next week is going to be a big one! We're finally about to release the long-awaited Farm DLC, which is one of our biggest House Flipper DLCs ever! The amount of sheer creativity and hours of work spent on this one project is simply enormous, and we're feeling extremely proud.

If you've ever dreamed of becoming an architect, now it's easier than ever. The Architect tool allows you to build a house from scratch on an empty lot. As one of the most important features coming in the Farm DLC, Architect Tool stands out because of its versatility. Expand your home renovation repertoire by adding floors to your new abode. To make things easier, we created a mobile scaffolding that will make planning and placing floors faster than ever!

PS: You can use Architect tool in most of the houses from the base game and other DLC's.


Yep... that's what the empty plots are for.

If you are worried about raindrops falling on your head – you can feel safe. Architect tool arsenal doesn't stop on making new floors. You can also create custom roofs for your houses. Every outbuilding from now on will be unique – the kind you design yourself!



You might have previously seen us showing the drone with picture-making ability. We've decided that wasn't enough and added one more feature – It turns out that you can now water your plants with it!



To make your farming adventure more authentic, we've included one more item in our game. Now you can build your greenhouse and grow your plants in style.



The Farm DLC is not just about house flipping. It's also about the animals we raise and care for. Look at these chickens, – we all know those are little dinosaurs! — sheep, and happily jumping goat, so cute!
Ahhh, I can feel that rural charm.





We didn't forget about house flipper vanilla players either! We've prepared a few improvements and innovations that will debut in the base game along with the Farm DLC release.

Are you feeling tired? Do you need a break from work? Don't worry. We've got you covered. Thanks to the sleeping mechanic, you can rest, skip time, and return for more flipping adventures!



Time for changes. We've heard you loud and clear – no more slow tiling. We decided to improve this mechanic to make flipping more fun. From now on, you can mark a larger area on the wall and make it look brand-new with just one click!



We also have something for those who love evenly trimmed grass! The DLC introduces a lot of large plots of land, so we decided to enlarge the mowing area in order to make it faster and more satisfying.

In previous devlogs, we've also shown the increased range of colors we’ve prepared our paints. Expect to find them in the base game as well, after the release of the Farm DLC!

I have no idea about you guys, but I'm kind of done with the winter already! Let the spring finally come!
We welcome its arrival with a fresh Spring Update, that you can already find in House Flipper:

• A brand new property, located in some deep woods - a lakeside treehouse!

• A set of new light switches to better fit the vibes of your interior designs.

With this grand announcement, we're also proud to present one of the last (if not the last) of the Farm DLC Development Blogs.

Before we proceed to the main course, we’d like to thank you for your support and feedback under the last devlog.
A long time ago, we showed you an early WIP version of house extensions. Today it’s time for a quick guide to the Architect Tool. It’s one of the most important mechanics in the game, and now you can see how it's changed from the last time. Besides that, you’re going to see wood cutting and a new way of painting. Without further ado, let’s get Flipping!




Alright, Flippers, let’s start with the basics. First, we need foundations. Use the Architect tool from the menu, and see what you can do with it:



After you’ve reached the desired shape of your extension, let it rise. Wish we could build things quickly like this in real life, don’t you think?



Now let’s proceed to the most important stage – connecting the extension with the building. It’s as easy as it looks, just move foundations close to the house, and connect them when the icon shows up.



But that’s not everything! We thought that you may want to create inner walls with the Architect tool. Now it’s possible. Plan them while creating foundations, and they’ll appear inside your extended house.





What’s left is to install new doors and connect both houses to make it whole. Now you can enjoy and decorate everything as you desire.



With creation, there also comes destruction. Our goal was to let you be free with your decisions, that’s why we’ve implemented the ability to cancel the extension, even when it's fully done.






Tired of carrying a heavy can of paint? Bored with that slow and manual paint roller? Time for changes! Welcome to the new era of painting, Flippers. Get ready for this unexpected tool, which will let you fasten your work, and make it easy and comfortable. I’d like to present to you our new Paint gun! Fill it with your favorite color of paint, and let’s get started!










A true farmer can’t work without proper tools. Our next one is a chainsaw. Remember to be cautious, safety first.

We’re back with our development update a little faster this time, and we’ve got some good stuff around the corner! I’ve always wanted to make an overview of our project, so I guess this time has finally come.

Furthermore, I'd like to add that in this DLC you'll get a lot of farmer-themed features, not just typical items and jobs. You'll be able to do even more things around your house and immerse yourself in the farming life to the fullest.

However, before we proceed to the main course, I’d love to thank you for your comments and honest opinion on the latest news. It means a lot and helps us focus on things you find important.. Feel free to give us feedback this time as well.

Without further ado, let the show begin!



You must be curious about what’s inside this suburban-looking brick house. Aren’t you? I can’t tell you everything, but be prepared for some tasty, foodie-flipping job! I feel it’s going to go viral on the owner's YouTube channel.

That's Lily. You could’ve seen her on our social media channels, but for those who didn’t let me introduce her.
She is known as a perfect wife and a pretty good rancher. But her precious cow, Molly, got lost. As though that's not enough, her barn got damaged. It seems, flippers, that your help is needed.

The leaves have fallen, and it’s pretty messy in your backyard. The best thing you can do is to blow them away. Why not use our new tool? Especially for occasions like this, we’ve prepared a Leaf Blower. Make your garden a little windy, and let the leaves fly away!

Oh no, Flippers, look! It was so sunny just a few minutes ago! Now it's raining everywhere. Let's wear a coat so we won’t get wet!
As you can see, immersion is one of our goals and that's why we've made a dynamic weather system. There will be a few weather conditions, but now let's enjoy those chill raindrops.

Alright, guys, I don't know what to say... This thing totally blindsided us. The grappling hook jumped out of nowhere in the latest devlog, and you fell in love with it. And here it is! The tool is in its full glory. Let’s jump around and tell us how you like it.

Take a deep breath, and imagine a warm evening on your farm. You chill on your balcony while taking in the scenery. Sounds pretty cool, right?
Thanks to our new mechanic, now it's possible. Try to redecorate your outside walls and make more space for our brand new feature. Take a look through the window and see what's outside. We're curious how you like it – the comment section is yours.

But that’s not all! If you want to change the way they look, try putting some panels on them.

Oh, sorry, it’s just my piggy. Want to know what is so special about it? She has a keen eye for truffles. In addition to its pink skin and twisted tail, she can also find diamonds among mushrooms.

PS: Oh, how I could've forgotten. Every animal in the Farm DLC will give you a special kind of resource!





And last but not least, We’ve prepared some new items that will increase your immersion while playing our DLC.

We need more HORSE power! That's why we've made those obstacles for you to test your skills! Jump over them and have fun playing jockey!



After the fun, there is always time for resting. Take your horse back to its box and let it chill until the next adventure.



We didn't forget about our lovely hens! They're excited about their new houses! I personally love their little homes, and I wonder if you find them just as charming as I do. Let me know in the comments below.
