Necromancers - release day is finally upon us!

All 7 nights are now available, as are all 40 monsters as promised. We've worked really hard to ensure that every Monster feels unique and has its own playstyle, and we're super excited to see what broken synergies you all find!

Player feedback has been instrumental in getting NFAW to where it is today, so please keep it coming.

Here's a basic roadmap of what the future looks like from here:

  • We plan to release a small update with some additional enemies over the next 3-4 days. We were hoping to release with more, but getting the balance just right takes time, particularly for the boss & final battles where we're trying to make the fights more unique.

  • Difficulty levels will come next, with the current state of the game serving as the 'standard' difficulty. Harder difficulty levels at this stage will include having at least 1 Monster selected for you per Battle, to force you to think more about how each Monster synergizes with your others, and whether you should spread out your Move Tomes and buffs more. Other ideas include removing enemy tooltips & preventing 0-cost Moves from being duplicated outside Battle. If you have other ideas for harder difficulties please let us know!

  • Then more enemies will be released. 3 sets of enemies for each possible encounter is our aim. Enough to keep it interesting but not so random that you cannot plan ahead once you learn the game.

  • Lastly, a draft game mode will be implemented. This was actually our original vision for the game, but jumping straight into a draft-style game with so many Moves was very overwhelming. We hope that once the game has been out for a month or two and players are more familiar with how everything works, draft will add some additional variety and more crazy combos! This update won't come for a month or two, as we focus on balancing the main game mode and ensuring we get this mode perfect.

PlanetSide 2 - CM Mithril

All PC servers will be down August 19 for a scheduled maintenance @ 6AM PDT / 3PM CEST. ~ 3 Hour downtime. The following changes will be updated to the PC client.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a major desynchronization bug on the Wainwright server that would look like players were being killed by invisible enemies, among other symptoms. This was due to a desynchronization issue with gateways that has been addressed yesterday.

We are aware of the severity of the bug and how it has effected the community and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We are extending both directive event and sales along with activating a double xp event and have just added 7 more days of Daybreak All-Access to members who logged into Wainwright during the de-sync week.

Time Extensions of Sales, Events and Memberships

As part of our compensation efforts to address the major desynchronization bug on Wainwright we will extend the following:

  • Summer Bravo Event Directive (Operation: Kaiju) and its accompanying alerts will be extended for 7 days.

  • The 40% off infantry weapons sale will be extended by 7 days.

  • All Access members who logged into Wainwright during the week of heavy de-syncing have just received 7 more days of membership added to their account.

Double XP
  • A Double Exp event starts today and ends 12AM PDT August 21st.

Heartless & Dreadful : Return by 72 Hours - Kirillian
- Final boss: Updated some animations of the final boss to be less shitty.
- Final boss: Removed the projectile attack from the final boss as it was activating up close and was essentially unblockable, ruining the flow of the fight.
- Final boss: Added additional particles for the final boss.
- Final boss: Derandomized attack patterns.
- Final boss: Adjusted the balance so the final boss only spawns 2 clones total for each phase to make it less annoying to deal with. To compensate, the clone health has been raised by a bit.
- Fixed the mission complete trigger in Huntress's mission as for some reason it refused to activate when expected.
- Fixed an issue where the last picked difficulty and its effects would get carried over into the modes it was not intended for. (Stuff like 3 heart system being carried over into Huntress's mission/new world, etc.)
- Fixed an issue where picking total result on the gamepad would not pick the correct button to focus on, causing it to be unusable on the gamepad, and forcing you to pick a button with the mouse in order to get the controls back.
- Adjusted the way the final score is stored for total result, now using level id instead of next level - 1. (I don't remember why I did that way in the first place. Should probably resolve the issue of it not saving into the right slot. Probably.)

We have found and identified several issues impacting villagers jobs, along with providing tooltip class descriptions in the recruitment tab so players can understand job roles they're looking to recruit.

In addition to prevent immediate cold effects that impact villager morale, newly constructed homes will automatically withdraw fuel from the market storage so that villagers have a period in which they can fuel their home themselves.

  • Newly constructed houses will automatically take some fuel from market storage

  • Visitors will no longer wander into Villagers' homes

  • Updated Recruits Tab with tooltip highlight class description and jobs

  • Fixed issues with visitors not spawning for some Campaigns/Kingdoms stuck in a 0/1 Visitor State.

  • Fixed issues with AI crafters (attempts to use research bench and issues finding ingredients)
