Stay Alive: Apocalypse - Mehan Games
Hi everyone. As you know for a while, I've been working on a brand new software for Stay Alive. The new software is progressing towards both fixing the old messy code and making it perform higher, as well as making the game available for co-op.

As you know, I will be releasing another game before the final release of Stay Alive, so I plan to both generate revenue for some models and test the smooth operation of new systems.

Below is the list of works done in the game so far. These will also be available and tested in the next game:

-Matching of thousands of objects even for players far from each other
-Ability to move objects by placing them on top of each other
-Inventory system*
-A new "group creation and management" system**
-A smoother working pathfinder system
-In-game conversation, correspondence opportunities
-New game save system
-Owning a building and changing the materials of its rooms
-Revamped graphics
-Dynamic, visual and sensory ambience change system
-Dynamic performance enhancing systems
-Possibility to enter every visible house

*The inventory system will be different for stay alive. Instead of the old system, each item will have a capacity in width and height (like Tarkov)
**This system will be used for establishing a company in the next game. It will be used for clan creation and inter-clan relations for Stay Alive.


The following systems are complete but will not be in the next game:

-Synchronization of moving objects
-Fix player specific floating point issues for each far away player
-Dynamic weather changes and weather events
-Modable objects

All these systems work with full synchronization between all players and full synchronization is available for players who enter the game later.



What more will be added to Stay Alive:

-Remodeling of buildings
-Remodeling of vehicles
-Remodeling of objects
-Creating the map
-Coding of NPC dialogue system and reactions
-Modable objects, npc dialogs, buildings
-Twitch Integration
-Zombies
-Weapons and explosions
-Survival systems such as water filling



The release date is not clear, but I will continue to inform you here. Stay tuned.

Hello after a very long time.

Of course, everyone has had a hard time lately. Corona, our losses, economic crises, unfortunate events, personal problems... I won't bother you with my real life problems, but I apologize to everyone for not being able to deal with Stay Alive for a long time due to these problems and not responding to incoming messages. But I can assure you that Stay Alive has not been abandoned.

During this time, some developments took place. I created brand new software for Stay Alive. With the new software, I am making the game suitable for multiplayer. For now, the general systems are ready and major issues have been resolved, but I decided to remake many models and maps, especially buildings, for better performance, better visuals and more fluid gameplay.

The game will go to the full version with the next update. Of course, this update will be coming after a long time. I can't give an exact release date. I'd also like to release another game before the full version of Stay Alive is released, to check that the systems are working properly, and to budget a bit.

The price of the game has been updated and there will be no discounts for a long time. Thank you to everyone who bought the game in early access and supported it. Thanks to you, Mehan Games has developed and will continue to grow.

    To activate: After starting the game (new game or saved game), enter the "Gameplay" settings in the settings and enter the name of your channel in the first blank field then press enter.

You CAN'T play old save files with this version.

WARNING: New improvements in this update may cause new errors. I will try to fix any errors you have reported as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your help.

The main character weapon holding animations do not work for now, and the character type does not change when you select a prebuilded character. These errors will be fixed in the next update.

  • Now the player character can be selected from all NPC models

  • You can wash dirty clothes by placing soap or detergent in at least 3 liters of water.

Fixes
  • Fast weapon replacement menu locks character if there is no weapon in inventory - Fixed

  • In the event of collision with other vehicles, all other doors and windows of the other vehicle fall to the floor

Your old saves may not appear because the save area is changed. For fix that:
Go into the "My Documents/Stay Alive Apocalypse" folder.
Create a folder called "Saves" and put your save directories into it.
