Intel has been intercepted and we are excited to announce that Sniper Elite: Resistance will launch on January 30th 2025 and is now available to pre-order.

Further intel has also revealed the Sniper Elite: Resistance Deluxe Edition, which will include additional Season Pass content when that launches later in the year.



Skilled sharpshooters who pre-order Sniper Elite: Resistance receive a bonus new Target Führer campaign mission, an additional weapon skin, and the powerful Karabiner 98 Rifle. In addition to the bonuses included with the Standard Edition, pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition will also offer the classic M1911 Pistol and two days early access to the game.



In Sniper Elite: Resistance, Harry Hawker, agent of the Special Operations Executive (SOE), takes the lead role for the first time in the series as he discovers an insidious new Wunderwaffe – something so powerful, it guarantees the Nazis would win the war. This new standalone story runs parallel to the events of Sniper Elite 5 and turns the attention towards the hidden war, far from the front lines, deep within the heart of occupied France.

As you would expect from Sniper Elite, the game offers unparalleled sniping mechanics, stealth and tactical third-person combat. You can also expect huge agency on how to complete your mission, with optional Kill List targets, multiple infiltration and extractions points, and side missions. Sniper Elite Resistance also introduces Propaganda Missions, a brand-new style of side mission to the series. Locate a unique Propaganda poster in each of the main campaign’s levels to unlock a Propaganda Mission where you become a Resistance Fighter.

You will now take on the role of Harry Hawker, an agent of the Special Operations Executive (SOE). Intel has revealed powerful and deadly weapons known to the Axis as the Wunderwaffe. An arsenal of this magnitude could surely turn the tide of the war in their favour. Your elite skills will be required to seek out key Axis targets and work together with the French Resistance to destroy the Wunderwaffe once and for all!




Reacquaint yourself with an armoury packed to the rafters with authentic World War II weapons. As well as some familar guns in your inventory, expect some new pieces that will aid in your missions success.

Once reunited with your ideal loadout, make sure to head to one of the workbenches scattered around the campaign map in order to customise your rifles, secondaries and pistols to your specification.

The visceral X-ray kill cam and advanced gunplay physics returns, demonstrating the unmatched destructive power of every one of your signature shots.




Propaganda Missions are a brand-new style of side mission to the series.

Throughout the campaign discover unique propaganda posters that will allow you to step into the shoes of a French Resistance fighter. With time sensitive objectives, players must sneak, snipe and shoot, taking down enemies under certain conditions to complete their mission.

Axis Invasion returns to Sniper Elite: Resistance with more campaign halting escapades. Watch as your opponent scours the map in fear of your presence. Strike when they least expect, utilising your weapons and equipment to full effect. Their campaign success is in your hands, so whether you go all guns blazing or adopt a more stealth approach, only one will be determined the victor.




Call upon your squad and head onto the battlefield read for combat with Multiplayer. Whether you prefer the chaos of Deathmatch or No-Cross or the wave based tactics of Survival, there is plenty of scope based carnage to be had. Compete with up to 16 players and battle it out until a champion is crowned.

• Improvements to AI behaviour across all maps to address sticking issues or them becoming inactive.
  
• Addressed an issue where the movie audio would not play when starting a new campaign.
  
• Addressed an issue in Kaiser Friedrich Museum where the player could become trapped.
  
• Addressed an issue in The Landwehr Canal where the player could get blocked by invisible collision.
  
• Addressed an issue in Kreuzberg HQ that would see the player teleport upon re-entering U-Bahn tunnel.
  
• Addressed an issue in Brandenburg Gate that would stop the Wolff cutscene from triggering.

Hey everyone, thank you for all your feedback so far. We have implemented the following fixes:

• Addressed several random crashes during gameplay.

• Added a classic controller configuration option that maps the Sprint to LB and Scope (hold)/Aim (half press) to LT.
  
• Addressed an issue in Saint Pierre where enemies appear to be stuck in moving animation after arriving in the truck.
  
• Addressed an issue in Schoenberg Streets where the player falls out of world while crawling and rotating between the wall and the fallen chair located inside the building present in front of the initial spawn area.
  
• Addressed an issue in St. Olibartus Church where there was an unnecessary 'Vault' prompt causing the player character to fall down and die from the wall near the ammo box present on the top floor of the church.
  
• Addressed an issue in Landwehr Canal where unnecessary traversal prompts allowed the player to access an out of bounds area.
  
• Addressed an issue in Train Yard with missing collision from the pile of concrete blocks allowing the player to hide and shoot through block present near the white coloured watchtower.
  
• Addressed an issue in Saint Pierre that allowed the player to see and shoot enemies through the wall of the room located near the first objective building.
  
• Addressed an issue in Brandenburg Gate where the player character gets trapped behind the pillars after sprinting through the rubble located on the right of the Gate during ‘Get to the Brandenburg Gate’ objective.
  
• Reduced the FPS dips in the Arms Race environment.
