Get Ready to Playtest Stormforge

Gather, Stormforged!

If you haven’t already filled out the playtest form, now is a great time to do so. We’re running a closed alpha test this week. Be sure to provide your hardware specs by filling out the survey completely. And don’t worry if you aren’t selected for this test, we will be running many more closed alpha playtests throughout the year as we look to gather your feedback and iterate on the game.

What to Expect from the Playtest

Stormforge is still very much a work in progress. What you can expect:

multiplayer
3 types fo tornado storms that throw things around: rock, trees, enemies and destroy buildings
2 boss fights
approximately 5 - 10 hours of gameplay (more if you are into building)
core systems in place: foraging, crafting, combat, building, exploration

If you are selected for the playtest, look for an email with instructions for how to join.

We can't wait to have you explore the world of Sorana and join us in making Stormforge the best it can be for you.

Our goal is to deliver the best version of Chill Fox, and if no major issues pop up today, we’re all set to release on October 15, so stay tuned!

But that’s not all, we also have a brand-new map coming for free in the future!

Fixed issue where money was difficult to click.
Fixed issue where items couldn’t be sold after reloading a save.
Fixed object placement bug that sometimes occurred after moving furniture.
Fixed “click spam” at the cash register — no more finger workout!

🐸 Added frog sound effect — “vrak vrak”.(finally found his voice).
