Whether you have been on the sidelines, staying with v9.6 of PD Howler and wondering if you'll want to upgrade to Howler v11 some day once it's out, or come to realize that perhaps you're not doing so much in terms of animation and video work, then perhaps you'll find the PD Artist sister product of interest.

PD Artist is lower priced than PD Howler, since it lacks the animation features and a bunch of filters that are in the Animated category. No working on videos or image sequences.

It does however still have the same brushes (even animbrushes) and 3D landscape creation tools, foliage, and many filters for visual effects.

We have recently launched the Artist edition v10, and are offering it with a future free upgrade to v11 of PD Artist.

If you are sure that you don't need tools for working on image sequences, animations or videos, be sure to check out PD Artist 10.
