Zombie God - BIG IRON
Summary

This update contains some balance changes, bug fixes and map edits for the new 'Resistance' game mode.

Zombie God now grants blessings at the start of your run! But with each blessing, comes a curse... With each victory, humans gain deadly modifiers for defending against your green hordes.

Improved targeting consistency for Army and Police units by refining line-of-sight checks.

Fixed a line-of-sight issue where zombies could not attack nearby humans in melee range.

Special zombies now begin with no ability cooldowns.

Ability cooldowns are now conversion-based - converting humans gradually recharges abilities.

The Infest ability now greys out when no valid spawn points remain on the map.

Fixed Ripper charges not being consumed correctly.

Adjusted human accuracy for more consistent combat results.

Changed patrol infection threshold to 10% across all maps.

Fixed various UI issues, including overlapping tank health bars and clickable UI elements on the world map.

Removed Halloween seasonal decorations.

Visual & Audio

Added new turret sprites.

Added music to Ghastonbury.

Fixed long-term audio desynchronization after extended play sessions.

World Map & Interface

Research points are now properly displayed on the main menu hub.

Research points can now be purchased repeatedly in the world map shop without refreshing.

Added an animation to the DNA Upgrade Hub button when new research points are available.

Fixed a world map bug where players could click through the UI.

Replaced DNA upgrades affecting ingredients with new evasion-focused upgrades.

Resistance Mode

Players now receive a blessing with each new Resistance level.

Resistance modifiers and blessings are now displayed during intro cutscenes.

Fixed incorrect damage modifiers for humans in Resistance Mode.

Fixed agent spawns in Brainstree to correctly use CDC agents.

Map & Environment Fixes

Camp Rotterson: Updated roads to prevent tanks and cars from driving through scenery.

Fleshmere Port: Added additional human NPCs near the “body bag” spawn area.

Bloodberry Farm: Fixed navigation mesh to allow proper pathing from the pub car park to the road.

Ghastonbury: Added map-specific music.

Gameplay & Balance

Fixed tank health bar overlap with on-screen text.

Adjusted DNA and ability systems for smoother gameplay flow.

Improved overall targeting and pathfinding behaviour for agents, vehicles, and defences.

🔓 Monster Spawn Requirements

◆Cuctus-type Monsters

After completing the quest “Deliver a Large Bolffid Seedling,” you can receive the “Plant-Containing Monsters” quest from Miara at the library during summer.

Completing it will cause Cuctus-type monsters to appear.

◆Mineral Monsters

After completing the quest “Investigate a Sapphire Vein,” you can receive the “Rare Mineral Golems” quest from Miara at the library during winter.

Completing it will cause Mineral monsters to appear.

◆Bread Monsters

After completing the quests “Star Bread” and “River Octo Bread,” you can receive the “Spring is the Season for Bread” quest from the Country Co-op in Yano Market during spring.

Completing it will cause Bread Monsters to appear.

To obtain bread-themed equipment and interior items, you’ll also need to complete the quests “Shishin Bread” and “Gazo Bread.”

Super Fantasy Kingdom - SuperFantasyKingdom

Hey everyone 👑

I slept for a whole day, went for a big walk with Mio and had a great dinner with my family. Then I wanted to fix one small thing and just could not stop again. It is hard to see you having problems that I can easily solve and just do nothing. But I had a blast! And it is much easier to work when nobody expects anything from you 😂

The big change is that the caravan feature gets unlocked after beating the second boss now. Each time you select your fate, you gain reputation with one of the other kingdoms. Once you have enough reputation they send a caravan with items. The feedback was very clear that build variety was lacking early, and items are a great way to give agency to the player.

Two often requested features were a catalog of bosses to see which ones still need to be beaten, and healthbars for mini-bosses. I'm happy I could implement that so fast. The resource UI was also improved to always display the current stars, and display the amount of super metal in overlays. The gamepad support has also been improved.

Most of the other changes are related to clarity, tutorials, and descriptions again. It is good to see fewer and fewer questions coming up, and I also got some great tips on how to explain things better from the community. One of those was to add help messages to the death screen. One could be "You can build the bonfire multiple times", shown after 400 glory. But of course it should start much simpler. Please share your ideas in the comments! What hint would have helped you?

And then we have a myriad of bug fixes. The balance adjustments also become a lot smaller. All together, a really good update, I hope.
