Steam Next Fest will officially conclude on October 21 (Tue) at 2:00 AM (KST).

Words cannot describe how thankful I am for everyone who gave Ashen Vow a try and gave their opinions and feedback on the demo. This has really motivated me to continue to make Ashen Vow the best possible game I can make.

Ashen Vow totaled a whopping 871 total players, and nearly 2,000 wishlists!! For a demo that I hastily rushed out due to roadblocks I had experiences in life, this is far more than I could have asked for.

I will keep the demo up for a little longer, but will take it down relatively soon. The bugs that Ashen Vow currently have, has halted many peoples enjoyment of the game, and do not want that to be my dedicated demo. I plan for another demo in the future packed with not only all the bugs to be fixed, but many feature reworks and added combat designs.

My to do list:
Fix the game breaking bugs as well as the small annoying ones
Rework defensive combat
Reanimate and model all first person animations
Add more diverse movement capabilities
Remove down time during segments of the game with more horror elements
And last but not least, finish the game

Thank you once again for everyone who participated, and I am looking extremely forward to the future of Ashen Vow, and allowing you all to play it once again.

A new green biome has been added, and the graphics have been reworked.
I'm also developing more user-friendly tools for the open world.
Improved draw distance, remove loading, and compilation—everything works in real time.
I'm trying to overcome stuttering inherent to the engine. This is necessary for the truly large world I'm trying to create.


Autumn has been added. The season changes at the start game, or automatically after a month.


The weather has been reworked to preserve the original atmosphere of the game.
Optimization is also important. As graphics detail increases and the world size, frame rate slightly drops, but 1060/2060 graphics cards run at minimum settings.
