Steam Achievements for Far Cry 5 are finally here.

Whether you’re taking down cultists, fishing for that trophy catch, or exploring the skies with Nick Rye, your feats can now be celebrated on Steam.


If you’ve previously unlocked achievements in Ubisoft Connect, simply launch the game once on Steam, and your progress will sync automatically. No need to start over, your Resistance efforts will be recognized!

Achievements for Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 are in the works, and we’ll keep you posted. Stay tuned for more updates!

Far Cry New Dawn, the latest entry in the long-running series and the narrative follow-up to Far Cry 5, is only weeks away. And there are some special treats waiting for returning players in our new game!

If you have Far Cry 5 registered to your Ubisoft account, then you can earn exclusive items in Far Cry New Dawn: one special outfit and one special weapon skin!

All you need is to have finished Far Cry 5's introduction by activating the radio tower on Dutch's island, and the Deputy outfit (male and female) will be yours in Far Cry New Dawn! Oh, the nostalgia...

But that's not all! If you have finished Far Cry 5, you will be rewarded with the special Eden's Gate-themed shotgun skin, the Sin Eater!

You can redeem these rewards by going to the Far Cry New Dawn page in the Ubisoft Club and activating both items.


If you have not reached the end of Far Cry 5 yet, don't worry! You can still do so after Far Cry New Dawn's launch day to unlock these rewards!

We hope you had a fantastic holiday feast- with or without turkeys! Now that the Thanksgiving celebrations are over, it is time to announce the winners of our Photo Mode Contest. It’s a festive time of year in Hope County- but this time turkeys are taking back Thanksgiving! How did your Thanksgiving turkey escape the dinner table? We’re looking for photographic evidence to capture Hope County’s birds of prey in action.

Be careful out there- turkeys can be vicious! According to our sources, these dangerous birds have already been responsible for over 100,000 deaths in Hope County. Any photographers brave enough to take the challenge can send us your best turkey shots between November 14th – November 21st to capture the Far Cry 5 Thanksgiving spirit.

How to participate

• Qualified photos must be taken either in Hope County (the main campaign) or in Far Cry Arcade (solo & co-op maps).
  
• Entry photos must be taken in Far Cry 5’s Photo Mode. Entry photos cannot be altered using 3rd-party tools including, but not limited to, photo editing software.
  
• The photos must be turkey and/or Thanksgiving themed. Show us how your turkey escaped the Thanksgiving table!
  
• You must post your entry either using the hashtag #FC5Thanksgiving (on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram) or as a comment underneath the contest announcement post.
  
• All entries must comply with Ubisoft terms and conditions – the full list of which can be found here.
  
• Only one screenshot is allowed per entrant, so choose wisely.

Winners
The winners will be chosen by the Far Cry Community Team. Photos will be judged based on originality, style and relevance to the theme of the competition. All winning entries will be rewarded with:

How to use Photo Mode
Getting the perfect shot is simple! When the time is right, access the Photo Mode from pause menu. From there, you can adjust the position of the camera and change a variety of options- including time of day, field of view, filters, and more!
