My first Sonic experience and it was certainly an experience to say the least. Wonky controls and camera mixed with a strangely put together world.

While Shadow Warrior 3 definitely has its flaws, I liked that they returned to the old formula of Shadow Warrior 1 instead of doubling down on the Mission based Looter Shooter gameplay like in SW2.

Prey is a phenomenal video game and playing it in 2024 just feels so bad knowing that its financial failure lead to the catastrophe that was Redfall.

A good ending that is unfortunately held back by a poorly paced main game. Lots of walking from point a to point b and then back to a just for something interesting to happen every 30 minutes or so.

Roadwarden was an amazing experience because of its fantastic writing. Unfortunately, Windy Meadow doesn't even come close to it in that aspect, which is why I don't recommend this game.

Strider is more of a 2D platformer than a metroidvania and while the platforming can feel nice at times, the combat is severely lacking in creative boss design, enemy variety and overall art design.

Not impressive from today's perspective but a big step forward for the series compared to its predecessor. The roots of the series began here, and it is worth to check them out for that.
