10/10 If you liked RE7 and RE4 then this might be perfect for you. If you didn't care for RE7's fear factor & first personness or RE4's action lean upgrade antics, you'll probably find this meh...

9.5/10 Another excellent game from the Finnish masters! A must for 3rd person action game and Alan Wake fans! Has the story and setting depth you'd expect. The mechanics work really well.

10/10 A MUST FOR HORROR FANS...it's an excellent choice if none of it's minor bad points bother you and you're a fan of the genre / delivery. And it's price is nothing to grumble about too.

5.5 / 10. It's curious jank worth experiencing, if you have a console or immense motivation and / or patience. You'll likely need both. At least from my experience of it on PC anyway.

As for a score, I'm giving Banners of Ruin an Early Access Ferocious Hand of 8 out of 10; So far so good I'd say. I'm really looking forward to seeing how MonteBearo develops this game...

A linear but fun ride with unique visual style, protagonist and core gameplay mechanic provided you gel with the control system and just go with the general flow of the game and the story. 8.5/10

6/10 Good game overall with an impressive visual presentation and style (there's still not enough art-deco Bioshockey visual style things in the world), well voiced and good sounds.

The Score 9/10 At the right price coming into with the right mindset and expectations there really isn't anything majorly wrong with this standalone experience unless you didn't like Alan Wake in...

The Score 4/10 Slightly below average game with many minor and medium issues showing some potential in places but never quite reaching it for the most part in most aspects. Also very overpriced...

The Score 8/10 Great fun and a great experience at the right price (not the longest game ever especially if you don't take it in or look for stuff). An atmospheric immersive story driven adventure...
