A nomadic clan crosses the steppe of a brutal Bronze Age world, looking for land to settle and rivals to conquer. Two thousand years later, a noble of 11th-century Iberia inherits a peninsula split between Christian kingdoms and rival taifas. Both of them start small, and both want an empire.

This bundle pairs two grand strategy sandboxes built around living populations: grow a tribe into an empire in the Bronze Age, then rewrite the Reconquista in medieval Spain.

Ascendant Dawn

Lead a nomadic tribe in a brutal Bronze Age world. Choose how to play, from peaceful herders to bloodthirsty raiders, and work your way up from a small clan to a great empire by founding cities and conquering your enemies.

Crown of Hispania

It is 1035 AD. Sancho III of Navarre is dead, the Caliphate of Cordoba has shattered, and nobody in Iberia agrees on who should hold it. As a noble of this tumultuous era, every decision on the battlefield, in the council chamber or in the shadows will shape your dynasty.

Why they belong together

Both games treat your people as your most valuable resource: push your farmers into the army and the harvest fails. Ascendant Dawn is the long climb from clan to empire; Crown of Hispania is the long game of faiths, vassals and a map you will stare at for hours. Found an empire, then fight for a crown.
