How It Fits Together

The base app ships with a built-in PID flight controller and the full physics, audio, OSD, debug graphs, and workbench tooling. The Betaflight DLC adds a one-click mode switch that hands control of the airframe over to your own Betaflight SITL build over UDP — the same 1000Hz physics keeps driving the simulation, only the controller changes.

You provide your own Betaflight firmware build configured for software-in-the-loop. This bundle does not include or distribute Betaflight binaries. Build instructions are in the Betaflight project's SITL documentation.
