The team has been continuing to refine the look of Killing Floor 3 and we’ve got some new concepts for City Streets that highlight what we’re calling the 4 G’s: Gloom, Grime, Grunge, and Grit.

But that's not all! We're also finally expanding the Mercenary Band! 💰⚔️ A long time ago, we announced mercenary units, and it's time to introduce them one by one. These units can be recruited in-game using a new special currency, regardless of the faction you play!

The mighty Chimera will be one of the first mercenaries available. Stay tuned for more reveals as we bring back past announcements and introduce brand-new warriors!

🛠️ We’ve been hard at work improving the game! A full patch notes post will be shared separately, but here are some key updates:

✔️ Fixed crashes & UI bugs – Unit details panel, army management crashes, and various tooltip issues are now resolved.
✔️ Combat clarity improved – Alive vs. wounded units now display more clearly in battle.
✔️ Balancing tweaks – Attack, hit chance, and terrain/building impact rebalanced.
✔️ Wind effects fixed – No more infinite wind buildup when the game runs in the background!

It's been a while since Roboom's last update, but the wait is now for worth it! The new features will make the arena and the strategizing feel much more lively and exciting, bringing new challenges & rewards at the end.

• Enemy Facilities

Within the Nest of Oblivion, you will now encounter new enemy Facilities. These will first support the enemy against you, healing them, creating bombers and Guardians, and much more. But they come with special rewards, if you can manage to overcome them:

Assimilating Facilities To Your Side

All you need to do is pick up the Umwertung from a defeated Facility and activate the power-up! The Facility will now be on your side.

Guardians, Viridian Spear & Shield

[/h3]
Spawning from the Circlons, Guardians guard all enemy Facilities. Assimilating their Facility will make the Facility create Guardians for you!


In addition to this, enemy Guardians may rarely drop a Viridian Spear or a Viridian Shield. These are both very powerful items, and they will each allow you to activate a very powerful power-up...
