Thank you for your suppor tand playing Good Night Pan Pan! Thanks to player feedback and input I have prepared a patch that does the following;
Bug Fixes
- New game button in the main menu now erases save data without needing to use the delete save button. (delete save button will remain as a fail safe for any bugs/issues that may arise) - Fixed an issue where certain doors could trap the player when opening/closing - Fixed an issue where the pushable cart interaction text could stay on screen indefinitely - Fixed an issue where the brush would no longer spawn on loading the game.
Adjustments, Improvements, and Changes
- Added a "sparkle" glint to inventory items and notes in the map, removing the blinking glow - All flavor text interactions are repeatable, save a few which are tied to gameplay events. - Added more flavor text interactions throughout the mall! - Offerings and Lit offerings now take 2 inventory slots instead of 6. Further, their effective range covers almost the entire map. - Removed the glowing outline from Pan Pan (possibly making it a toggle or based on game difficulty in the future) - Pan Pan is more aggressive and will now run to noises which alert her, offerings, and any hiding spot used. - Increased Pan Pan's hearing range, field of view, and run speed - added more set dressing and made some adjustments to lighting - revise Li Li's walk animation - Added more animations for Pan Pan, including mouth opening - added additional scares - added a ghostly trap to certain areas - Health drink snow only give 1 "heart"
I have more updates planned and will be carefully paying attention to feedback and bug reports as I work on the FREE expansion/update coming for Halloween!
We are proud to announce that Lost Diskettes Vol.1 is now available on Steam.
Lost Diskettes is a collection of diverse experiences designed for players to take their time and reflect on what they are witnessing.
Each experience is unique. In some, you’ll find the absurd, the surreal, horror, and comedy. Some are visually grotesque, while others are not as much. It’s important to pay attention to these stories because, in most cases, they feature multiple endings depending on your choices.
We hope you enjoy playing Lost Diskettes Vol.1 as much as we enjoyed developing it. If you do, we’d greatly appreciate it if you left a review, as it helps us get our games noticed.
A special thank you to our patrons who made this project possible.

Welcome all new Turn-based RPG Fest captains! The void, the spice hall, and great adventure waits. Also the xeno are waiting. So let's get updating before they catch up to us. Update #56 includes new artwork, new Battle Prow ship components, improvements to Hangar Bays and an important fix for xeno ship encounters as well as balance changes to the Terrox Deathspear.
Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is in Turn-based RPG Fest too!
If you haven’t checked it out in a bit, our new game Cyber Knights: Flashpoint is evolving fast in Early Access with Update #150 recently going live. For Turn-based RPG Fest, we released a batch of stories that are filling out the Treaty '31 Era (you know Eras, Star Traders!!!) in which a new megacorporation joins the New Boston charter and "comes to town".
We wanted to send out special thanks to all of our amazing captains who have "badged up" and purchased the Supporter Badge DLC with some new and exciting artwork. We already released some new planetary environments in the last update, but this time we've come back to hit Zenrin Prime with a special city background as well as add a cool "underwater wreck" artboard for oceanic wild zones.
Also, we've added 4 new classic looks for your grav Contacts. We're excited to come back to expanding this catalog a bit after such a long break - it is also fun to see such new and interesting faces as you land across the quadrants and meet its power players.
Beastly Battle Prow 6, 7 and 8
Rolling off the line in true beast mode, these Battle Prows boast major bonuses to boarding operations and craft defense as well as major Armor bonuses. These advanced versions of the less Battle Prows sell for a major penny, so they'll often be late career upgrades for boarding heavy, close range combat ships.
Hangar Bay Improvements
We've continued to adjust and buff the meta around Hangar bays as a useful part of your ship stats in addition to holding craft. Stronger hangar bays - of which you need a couple - make larger carriers more powerful and more viable. With this update we've improved the Large Hangar Bay as well as its Shielded and Reinforced variations to grant additional defense bonus, bonuses against attack enemy craft and heightened armor.
The Alta Mesa Warhawk Hangar Bay joins in the boost with its own bonuses to Craft Defense and ship defense as well.
The variations in hangar bays can help you puzzle together the right results you want out of the stats from these bays as you build out a ship that might have to dedicate 4+ component slots to them in order to support your fleet.
Xeno Ship Crashes / Fails
For all those players hitting issues where a xeno ship would be encountered and then the Fight button in the ship encounter screen would lead to a black screen or a crash, we've resolve the issue now! Apologies for the bug and you can fight xeno again.
Deathspear Xeno Balance
The Terrox Deathspear has received some balance changes to ensure it is different and exciting enough of a combatant in ship. With Update #356, we have reduced its Ship Hull by 10% (300 pts) and increased its base Armor by +2. You can carve through the Deathspear a little faster now assuming you can reduce or work around the armor!
v3.4.5 - #356: Hall of Memories - 10/4/2024
- New Art! New planetary image added -- new Zenrin Prime specific art, Hall of Memories - New Art! New planetary image added -- new Oceanic wild zone shows crashed ship - New Art! Added art for 4 new Contact characters - New Ship Components: Battle Prow 6-8; optimized for close range boarding and cover for craft - Buffs for Large Hangar Bay (Normal, Shielded, Reinforced) now grants Ship Defense, Craft Attack, Armor - Warhawk Hangar Bay now grants Craft Defense, Craft Offense and Ship Defense - Fixed issue with xeno ship fights ending in black screen or crash - Reduced Terrox Deathspear Xeno Ship Hull Points by 10% (-300) - Increased Terrox Deathspear Base Armor by +2
Amazon Games and New World are taking part in the 2024 Playing for the Planet Green Game Jam. The Green Game Jam is an annual project organized by Playing for the Planet where gaming studios are challenged to implement 'green activations' into their games. This year’s event is about making small changes to the way we eat to drive demand for more sustainable food sources. As part of our Feast for the Future Recipe Design Contest, we partnered with players to design a sustainable in-game cooking dish. While resources in Aeternum may respawn infinitely, we must consider the environmental impact of our choices in the real world.
Aeternum is self sustaining. No matter how much Banana Pudding and other delicacies are devoured, food sustainability is never a concern for the inhabitants of the Eternal Isle. Whether you forage into the bioluminescent jungle of the Elysian Wilds or scavenge through the ancient ruins of Brimstone Sands, there is abundance and no waste — a paradise for food sustainability. In the real world, what we eat and where it comes from impacts our world in significant ways. From land use to transportation, processing, and packaging, greenhouse gas emissions are an unfortunate consequence of each step. Some sources of food have more significant impacts than others, especially for your own well-being.
How does New World compare to the real world? How much of the food types did players craft? What were the top recipes prepared? Check out our Feast for the Future infographic to see how Aeternum compares to our world.
Key Takeaways
Meat and Dairy recipes comprise the majority of crafted consumables in Aeternum with over 800 million (67%) crafted. Total Vegetarian and Vegan dishes crafted surpassed 400 million (33%).
If Aeternum was real and not eternally self-sustaining, the impact on food sustainability would be significant. Meat and Dairy consumption have the most significant impact on greenhouse emissions from land, feed, processing, and waste while non-meat food have reduced impacts across these categories. With a global average consumption of meat and dairy around 30%, any further increase in greenhouse gasses would mean significant deforestation, water scarcity, biodiversity due to natural habitat loss, and the pollution of air, soil, and waterways. Not even the all-powerful Azoth Tree would survive.

👻 Monsters, mutants, and monkes - it’s about to get a little bit creepy! With haunted surprises on every map and something lurking about - our newest update is launching NOW! 🎃 And guess what? The Pumpkin Patch bundle AND Halloween Flashback cosmetics are now available! The cards hint that you should be extra careful when tagging... you never know what chilling surprises might be waiting for you.
In this update, we added 3 new programming blocks, and that is not even our final form! These three just lay the foundation for some more exciting ideas that we plan to introduce until the end of the year.
In the meantime, check out the new blocks and let us know what you think of them in the comments and on our Discord server.
v0.83 Released!
New programming block: 'uncombine' lets your CraftoMates to decompose any complex Object into simple components
New programming blocks exclusively for CargoMates: 'get load amount' lets them detect the number of objects they're carrying (and, subsequently, use it as an argument in Variables), and 'get load type' allows them to detect the type of Object on their back (surprise!)
Added an option to give custom names to Variables and inputs/outputs of Functions
We've unified tooltips so that they work the same way in all the game's menus, with an option to pin them and open nested tooltips
Fixed a bug that caused CraftoMates to incorrectly interpret the coordinates of a Storage unit carried around by a CargoMate
See you in a couple of weeks, when the next update rolls out!
And if you haven't done it already, please don't forget to add Craftomation 101 to your wishlist, it is an important marker to us, that brings the game's release closer:
Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms - ChaoticEye
A young Eladrin woman, raised to be the Queen of Koshmarr, what was meant to be an idyllic life took a dark turn on the night of her wedding. Pulled into the machinations of greater powers, she found herself in Mordent, now one of the many wandering ghosts. A person of great interest both to Azalin Rex and Strahd, she sought to negotiate her freedom from these dread domains. Her longtime companions and their newfound friends wanted the same and imbued her soul into Desmond’s sword. As they traveled in search of returning her soul to her body, Voronika took matters into her own hands and used the Crown of the Raven Queen to defeat Zybilna and cause the fall of Prismeer. This action drew the mists to Voronika and soon she discovered herself a new darklord in her domain of Koshmarr.
Voronika has received a significant rework to help streamline and simplify her overall design. For details about Voronika's updated design, read on...

Abilities
Basic Attack
Produce Flame (magic) - Voronika creates a flame in her hand which she fires at a random enemy. If Voronika has achieved her Darklord form, the target is lit on fire and takes 1 second of BUD damage every second for 5 seconds.
Passive Abilities
Wed, then Undead - After being killed on her wedding night, Voronika became a ghost. The following rules apply:
Voronika can be attacked like normal and she can be "killed", at which point it stops granting all effects like any dead Champion would.
Voronika counts as "undead" for the purposes of effects that care about dead Champions (Desmond), but "alive" for all other purposes. She still counts as undead even after reaching her Darklord form.
Formation Abilities
Puppet Master - Voronika claims the BUD-setting Champion as her Puppet. The damage of her chosen Puppet is increased by 100%. Voronika only changes her Puppet if a different Champion is the BUD-setting Champion for more than 30 seconds in a row. Voronika's Puppet gains the Black Dice Society affiliation.
Calculating Guidance - Voronika increases the damage of all Champions in one column in front of her by 100%. Voronika's key allies are members of the Black Dice Society. The effect of this ability is increased by 100% for each key ally in the formation. This stacks additively until Voronika completes her Search for the Crown, when it changes to stack multiplicatively.
Search for the Crown - Voronika's search for the Crown of the Raven Queen requires her to complete 3 goals. When Voronika completes all 3 goals, she acquires the crown, transforms into her Darklord Form, unlocks her ultimate attack, and improves her base attack. Her goals include:
Voronika reaches level 750
Use 50 Ultimate Attacks with other Champions
One additional goal unlocked by her first Specialization choice.
Speed Run - The effect of Puppet Master is increased by 10,000%. This value multiplicatively decreases by 10% five minutes after the adventure starts and decreases by another 10% for every minute after that, but doesn't decrease after Voronika has completed her Search for the Crown.
Ultimate Power - Voronika increases the effect of Calculating Guidance by .1% for each use of an Ultimate while she is in the formation, stacking multiplicatively. Caps at 100,000 stacks. These stacks persist until reset.
Specializations A
Embrace Evil - For the third Quest for the Crown goal, Calculating Guidance'skey allies must kill 2,500 enemies. The key allies for Calculating Guidance now also include Champions who have the Evil alignment.
Hunt The Favored - For the third Quest for the Crown goal, you must kill 500 enemies who are the Favored Foe of any Champion in the formation. The key allies for Calculating Guidance now also include Champions who have a Favored Foe.
Weaken The Fools - For the third Quest for the Crown goal, you must apply 1750 Debuffs to enemies. The key allies for Calculating Guidance now also include Champions who have the Debuff role.
Specializations B
Battle Magic - Voronika's Puppet additionally casts an explosive magic missile at a random target after each attack which deals 1000% of their normal damage to all enemies in a small area.
Powerful Focus - Voronika's Puppet has all of their incoming positional damage effects increased by 75%, and their basic attack now knocks back any enemies it hits a short distance.
Strike First, Strike Hard - Voronika's Puppet attacks 1.0 seconds faster and their damage is increased by 150% for each Champion adjacent to them, stacking multiplicatively.
Ultimate Ability
Horrifying Visage - Voronika moves in front of the party, magically pushing back all monsters a short distance, especially the ones in front. All enemies take ultimate damage, and then all surviving enemies deal 90% less damage for 30 seconds. In addition, the boss/enemy enrage timer fills 200% slower for 30 seconds.
