Strayer innovation just got a little bit bloodier with a new melee, components, and a whole lot of refreshes! 😎
With Strayed Update 0.1.12.0, we're bringing back our streak of introducing new features to Strayed! Adding in brand-new stuff like a sadist's favorite toy—the Blade Bat, new components for creative crafting, and refreshed loot come together to cement what's next for all Strayers!
Let's dive deep into our new, bloody catalog of mayhem!
Blade Bat - Bash 'em skulls in!
Tired of using rocks and hatchets just to send a bloody message? Made from a simple bat and some junk nailed tightly together, the Blade Bat is as simple as how it's named.
There's not much we can say about it, really. If you're looking into inflicting higher physical damage and chaos to someone or something, this is your weapon of choice.
New Components - Unlocked Creative Potential!
New Components = New Innovations! With Update 0.1.12.0, we're setting things up for more possible crafting combinations. Start picking up fresh loot such as electronic parts, pipes, springs, nuts and bolts, and weapon parts!
Together with the new components come tons of changes to crafting recipes! This will make progression a bit more challenging. The new components will also allow for more valuable shredding!
Refreshed Loot Models & Icons!
A Blade Bat? New Components? Of course, we're not letting the old ones rot away!
Introducing — Refreshed Loot Models & Icons! We're giving our old loot & resources a redo to keep up with the new stuff. Don't worry, we redesigned them in such a way that you'll still recognize them.

Added the ability to change the location of the "Nonozle User Puzzles" and "Nonozle User Themes" folders, which by default are created in the Documents directory on Windows and in the home directory on Linux.
To do this, create a .txt file called "export_location.txt" in the base save file folder ("C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Nonozle" on Windows, "~/.local/share/Nonozle" on Linux), not any sub-directories of it. Have the text file only contain the path to the new directory. If the specified directory doesn't exist, then the text file will be ignored.
This won't move or delete the already existing folders and their files, if any. You'll have to do that manually.
-After "You Are Dead" screen, sound and animation glitches out until loading last save. -End of the game credits sometimes skips and directly loads main menu.
Turkish and English language localization is still on progress. Expected in MANIKA V1.2.
Ostranauts v0.14.0.12 is now available on Steam, and your clients should be updating shortly.
This is a hotfix patch to our recently released "Across the System" update, which addresses several save game and UI lockout bugs, and several fixes to plots and items.
These changes should be compatible with older 0.14 saves. Though if that save has already had errors (e.g. like dead NPCs), some of those errors may continue until a new game is started.
Fixed bug allowing some social/plot interactions to be used on corpses (awkward Lonesome IAs and most plot actions)
Changed NPC ships to not KO/injure their crew when flying around for now, as it was more disruptive to play than useful.
Changed AtmoScrubber/CO2 alarm to fire at 0.3 kpa instead of 0.5 kpa (gives some space before people feel first hypercapnia symptoms at 0.5).
Fixed a bug that caused captain to be immovable after a reload if game was saved on a different ship from captain while they slept.
Fixed an error that could occur if player or other pathfinder was standing in a place with no walkable tiles nearby.
Fixed a bug that prevented NPCs from continuing the plot being upset about wrongful accusations if the NPC was on the same ship as the player.
Fixed a bug that caused UI to get locked out after loading a save where an objective had a null target.
Fixed several attack mode typos which could cause wrong attack modes to remain on the character after unslotting weapons.
Added code to immediately refresh quick action buttons when a new weapon is wielded.
Added code to remove unapplicable attack modes from players due to old save data.
Fixed bug causing red & green custom lights to become normal lights when (un)powered or uninstalled.
Added CO2 sensor connections to AtmoScrubbers on VORB_Port (and add CO2 filter spawners).
Changed OKLG_Entrance AtmoScrubber to On instead of Auto to better manage CO2 when population gets high.
Changed wiring on OKLG_Entrance AtmoScrubbers to 2 sensors (and add CO2 filter spawners).
Added paperdoll sprites for the slugger bat, cutlass, and nightsticks.
Removed PressureSense from Closed Auto-Vent (it doesn't need it, so sensing is just a performance tax).
A number of the changes in this patch address various save/load and UI lockout issues. Many of these were null exceptions that could arise if the game attempted to access something that no longer existed, and it could stop the game from proceeding (whether that meant finishing loading the save, or accepting user input).
There are no doubt more of these to find and fix, but players have been very helpful (and patient!) with finding these edge cases.
A few of the other fixes address actions that were either appearing on things they shouldn't (conversing with corpses, stabbing with a gun), or missing (plot failed to proceed because of a typo that forbid the player being where they were).
As part of this clean-up, we added some additional code to make the list of actions on a target update more immediately when switching weapons.
Yet another cluster of fixes involved items that were either not fully hooked-up to infrastructure (CO2 sensors), mode switched incorrectly when losing power (colored lights), or simply used too many resources (closed auto vents). Plus, we have a new batch of paperdoll sprites for the slugger bat, cutlass, and night sticks!
Finally, we disabled gravic injuries and knock-outs on NPCs when they were flying ships off-screen. We may restore this later when it matters more (i.e. ship combat), but for now, it was getting in the way more often than being fun. E.g. pilots being unconscious or dead when you dock with them, despite them calling you over.
As always, there's plenty more for us to fix, change, and add! And we'll be continuing in roughly that order. In the meantime, let us know if this patch helps you out, as well as if it reveals new problems!

⦁ remove white armor hp bars/balanced armor & HP combat finishers ⦁ middle scroll to switch between target lockons ⦁ made invisible walls for bull flight only appear during fight ⦁ Dragonbull is now aggressive after cutscene (lowered it's chance of performing heal) ⦁ added check to see if weapon equipped before cutscene (to make cutscene better unsheathes weapon)

Just passing by to remind you that... There's only a week left for launch! This is our current mood:
If you follow us in our social media, you'll know that this is Tommy, our favourite scaly influencer. If you don't, what better chance than right now to introduce you to the four characters that you will play as in Welcome to Empyreum?
🐸Tommy🐸
Tommy is the first lizard we ever hire! He claims he was a human before entering the hotel, but who knows...
He's one of the youngest of the group and enjoys taking pictures to upload to his social media. He's a popular influencer where he comes from! 🤳
🍀Elisabeth🍀
Elisabeth is one of the newest employees of the hotel. Since she set foot in the reception, everything seems to be going south for her, and she's convinced all her good luck has vanished.
Nevertheless, she'll try her best to make the guests happy ✨
🎹Apolo🎹
Apolo is the Empyreum Hotel's bad-tempered and grumpy musician.
Although he was hired to play the piano for the guests, he has forgotten how to play and now has no choice but to clean the rooms along the other new employees... Which he doesn't really enjoy at first 😶
📷Miriam📷
Miriam is the glue that holds the group together, always ready to lend a helping hand and cheer up the others.
She was carrying a very fogged photograph in her pocket when she arrived at the hotel, could it be a picture of someone important to her? 🤔
No matter if you play with friends or on your own, our four employees of the month will join you in the adventure and you'll discover not only the hotel's story, but also theirs. How did they end up here? What do they long for? Would Apolo trade his hat for a cat ears headband?
Tell us who you are going to adopt choose to play as!

Onsite Experiences & Extras
Combat Workshop Live
For those that enjoy going hands-on at the free-play stations, we have a few fun surprises planned.
First and foremost, fresh from the Salt Lake City event, we’ll be showing off our new 1v1 Showdown mode.
Face off against another Spartan in this head-to-head, round based experience. Get more kills than your opponent to win the round BUT the highest score wins the match. Score points based on how you kill your enemy – style counts! Each round players move to a different combat arena with different loadouts and pickups.
Jump in and see if you have the steady hands (and nerves) to come out on top.
And because this is Combat Workshop Live, we want to hear from you! Come try out this experience and then let us know what you think. There will be QR codes with feedback forms around the venue.
What other goodies might be playable on site? Well maybe it’s time to get your tickets…
