This game is too old and pretty outdated. I decide to make it free. And there are two reasons: 1) I'm working on my brand Half-Face Games which will contain only free games. 2) I believe every game should become free after sell time was over.
New players would play this game and our community will grow, I hope.
Also, if anyone thought the game wasn't worth $4, they'll be able to play it for free starting September 12th.
This game is experimental with new gaming experience. Not for everyone, but you could try!
Sanity System: What's the worst that could happen?
Added Pessi so you won't get thirsty in the Backrooms, ever again. Finally! It'll also regenerate a bit of sanity.
Level Selector: Finally.
A new save system, meaning that booting this game version with existent save data from an older version, will result in a Migration screen appearing upon start-up.
You can now skip the Disclaimer screen.
You can now reset save data and choose to reset achievements.
Fixed AI slowing down near player proximity, meaning that the Howler in Level 0 is more.. motivated to chase you.
Added half-baked controller support. Again.

I've been silent and haven't shared any news recently. Now I am happy to present you with update 1.3.2, which fixes a few nasty bugs and adds a new character. In addition, I would like to share with you the plans for future updates. Let's take it one step at a time.
This post also lists fixes that were made in the previous two patches that were silently released.

Crash: When entering water with a keyboard
Inability to continue playthrough after defeating Chromash Soul Keeper in Kzar Karos
Inability to switch to a gamepad in the main menu unless a button was pressed during boot logos
Crash: Invalid gamepad controls settings will now be repaired or reset during start
Crash: Due to a bug in Mushroom Slaver mobs programming
Changing skills in the skill tree
Unintended item duplication in the inventory
Stats reset when unequipping the shield
Blood Lady being able to escape the room
Negative stats (sometimes you may need to unequip everything and reload your last save)
Plot tips, if "Exploring" was chosen when starting a save, none will appear
Softlock in The Abyss Rift when visiting it again
All false or invalid entrances on the map
Fixed non-functional crossbow on Nintendo controllers by default (sorry!), and also on others if the attack button is bound to Triangle or Y

Map markers, also the map is now centered and zooming will take this into account
A new quest character (their location is left as an exercise for the player ;D)
Upcoming plans We will introduce the NG+ mode in the future update, its alredy implemented and is currently undergoing QA, we can't wait to show it!

New Dragoon Missile Launcher
With Update #325, we've released a new Dragoon is small slot level 9 missile launcher. As the highest level small slot missile around, it has a solid 80 Radiation Damage and a big boost for regular ship damage that lets it beat out both the Valkri and Gargoyle missiles for sheer crushing power.
Improved Crew Dmg / Morale Dmg during Travel & Landing
With this update, we've completed a full review of travel and landing saves for Ship Ops, Electronics and other Skills that are used. We found a few places where the math - which is taking into account a lot of factors like crew size, component complexity, Rumors, etc - could get extremely spikey and produce unfairly large damage results for both health and Morale.
These issues were especially caused by bad Rumors. Bad, bad Rumors :D
We've smoothed these over to reduce sudden spikes. In other advice, be sure to have enough Saving Talents, ensure that you have highly skilled crew to work your specialized ships (keep your Skill Saves well above 100%!) and where possible keep all soft skills (Doctor, Command, Intimidate) above the head count of crew on board.
New AI Ships in the Mix
We've also finished testing the AI ship builder capabilities for a number of new hulls - including the Vengeance Class Mk3, Wolfpack Interceptor, Paladin Crusader and Voracious. While it is nice that you can now use Prize Ship to capture these ships as your own, it is important to be wary of enemy captains who are flying these recently released hulls as they are doing pretty interesting things with them.
Finally, we've added a new AI variation for the Terrox Deathspear which can help the AI turn it into an even more deadly boat.
Re-balanced 2 Railguns
We tweaked the balance on the Seraphim Railgun and the Daystar Railgun to ensure that they fit into the mold of the weapon class and are appropriate in stats for the small and medium slots. Be sure to check them out as you consider your next ship build.

This MMORPG project sure has been taking a long while. It would have been way easier to create a brand new game instead of creating the tools and systems to convert 50,000+ unique items, 120 classes, and the maps, story, cutscenes, pets. But it will be worth it. When this game project goes live, you and other players of the original game will be able to login with all of your stuff!
