To ensure the game's stability and enhance overall service quality and user experience, "Blood of Steel" will undergo maintenance on April 23th from 09:00 to 12:00 (UTC+8). I. New Additions
New hero Helen and her accompanying skin are now available.
Rank-legion (map change), Territory War, and Elite Contest have concluded their seasons and new seasons are starting.
Main World Rank-legion, Conquer the World, and Black Tortoise Drill Ground have been reset and reopened (this time the S5 new save season will not start, continuing to maintain the S4 save season unchanged).
New Battle Passes (including Main World Battle Pass) will be updated on April 29th.
II. Optimizations and Adjustments
Partial hero balance adjustments:
Sun Shangxiang
[Aimed Shot] changed to: Hitting or killing increases rages; when rage is full, automatically enters burst state, increasing DPS.
Added Out-of-combat Recovery.
Removed the original Q skill [Back Jump], new Q skill [Manyshot] added.
Removed skill [Fire Arrows], new skill [Fierce Lady]: Gains ranged attack Outrage, doubles rage recovery speed, and distributes damage across all troops for 12 seconds.
Li Guang
[Rapid Shoot] cooldown reduced to 90 seconds, duration increased to 20 seconds. During the skill, all projectiles are shot in a rapid three-round burst.
Added [Shooting Formation], which reduces movement speed and adds penetration.
Q Skill: Fixed a bug where Quick Reload was not effective.
Added blue armor mechanism.
Edward I
Attacking and killing barricades no longer triggers hit and kill judgments (no longer triggers strategy, rage, or cooldown rewards obtained through attack and kill).
Balian
Added blue armor mechanism.
Optimized [Ballistic Shield]: [Smart Cover] and [Solid Cover] are combined, can be placed directly without upgrade, three can be placed at once, and Shield no longer produce hit and kill judgments (no longer triggers strategy, rage, or cooldown rewards obtained through attack and kill).
Yi Seong-gye
Added Out-of-combat Recovery mechanism.
Zoe I
Reduced damage from [Stun] effect.
Amenut
[Rapid March] cooldown reduced to 60 seconds.
[Deadly Poison] effect from poison arrows, duration increased from 12 to 15 seconds.
Increased damage to low-health targets, triggered when remaining health is below 30% instead of 20%.
Inahime
Reduced the frequency of health restoration by monk troops when not under [Sign from God].
Zhang Bao
[Shaft Charge] skill now includes a knockdown effect.
[Column Formation] no longer reduces defense, adjusted to reduce attack power.
Added legion skill [Reserve Troops].
New Q skill [Shaft Charge].
Ying Zheng
[Mounted Blades] adjusted: Using chariots to hit enemies will now inflict [Armor] effect (reduces defense for 15 seconds; if killed during this time, the killer gains [Exciting]: restores 36 health, increases movement and 10% attack power for 10 seconds).
[Conqueror's Blades] adjusted: Ying Zheng and his legions deal 10% more damage to enemies with [Armor].
Added Out-of-combat Recovery mechanism, allowing continuous recovery for legions and heroes.
New skill [Daily patrol shooting]: Orders soldiers to fire in a specified direction for 15 seconds.
New skill [Long drive away tigers and wolves]: Increases chariot's movement speed for 15 seconds.
Qin Qiong
Fixed a bug where soldiers did not effectively become invincible during Kill Streak.
Leonidas
Fixed a bug where Leonidas and his troop had to block damage to generate rage, now damage taken also generates rage.
[Throw Spear] adjusted to a rage skill, consumes 30% rage to activate once.
Removed cooldown for [Targe Array] and allowed it to be moved with F2, though quick movement deactivates the defense effect (can be observed by movement slow down).
Lady Zhurong
Added Out-of-combat Recovery mechanism.
Combined Feral Rage and Warhounds attack commands; players can command Warhounds to attack at a specified target area.
Increased movement speed enhancement of the [Feral Rage] skill for hounds.
Zhuge Liang
Attacking and killing straw men no longer triggers hit and kill judgments (no longer triggers strategy, rage, or cooldown rewards obtained through attack and kill).
Qi Jiguang
Fixed a bug where, after opening the Mandarin Duck Formation, some soldiers at medium to long range would not shoot when using Musket.
Trajan
Legion's spear carrying capacity increased by two.
Sarutobi Sasuke
Increased health of shadow clones.
Napoleon
Enhanced the base defense of the legion.
[Open Fire] skill cooldown reduced to 60 seconds.
Mochizuki Chiyo
When Mochizuki Chiyome throws Kunai, she is no longer affected by slowing effects.
Using the [Kunai Throw] skill also increases the overall movement speed of the entire troop, including the hero.
Enhanced the base defense of Mochizuki Chiyo.
Germanicus
Reduced the movement speed of the hero.
Reduced the defense of Shieldman.
Removed the effect where soldiers hitting the Shieldman infantry's shields would fall down.
Reduced the attack speed bonus of the [Shock] skill.
Koxinga
Reduced the striking range of Koxinga's spear.
Increased the Focus consumption for each cannon shot to 7%.
Weakened the base armor of the troop.
Deng Ai
New Q skill [Recruit horses] added.
Optimized the [Diamond Formation] formation and soldier AI.
Ma Chao
Passive skill [Nemesis] added effect: hitting an enemy reduces the cooldown of [Crouch Lance] by 8 seconds.
[Armored Charge] skill cooldown reduced to 90 seconds.
Adjusted the effect of [Toggle Fire-At-Will]: when using the skill, Ma Chao marks a group of targets within a designated range, and soldiers switch to throwing spears prioritizing marked targets.
Adjusted the effect of [Crouch Lance]: Ma Chao and his legion's Iron Cavalry Charge deals double damage to infantry with health below 30%.
Baldwin IV
Added blue armor mechanism.
Bathory
Reduced the damage of the lance.
Passive skill [Taste of Blood]: attacking horses alone does not trigger cooldown reduction or reset; normal effects are triggered when attacking heroes and soldiers.
Catherine
Increased the probability of material drops.
Saladin
New skill [The Eye of Syria] added: marks a specified area; attacking marked targets deals additional damage; when soldiers switch to ranged, they prioritize marked targets. Saladin and his soldiers deal additional damage in melee to marked targets, generating a terror effect for 6 seconds.
Xiahou Yuan
Added Out-of-combat Recovery mechanism.
After hitting/defeating a target while mounted, [Poison Bolts]'s cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds/4 seconds.
Optimized the [Flying Geese Formation] formation and soldier AI.
Huang Zhong
Added Out-of-combat Recovery mechanism.
After hitting/defeating a target while mounted, [Arrow Rain]'s cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds/4 seconds.
Sibylla
[Rapid State] skill duration increased to 20 seconds, removed the [Penetration] effect from crossbow bolts.
After activating [Sniper Formation], adds the [Penetration] effect.
Optimization of combat attribute mechanisms:
Unified [superarmor] effect: Adds a disruption damage threshold of 50 to soldiers; damage caused by soldiers below the damage threshold (Melee: 53, Ranged: 70) will not cause disruption, and this effect is continuously available when wearing super armor. This effect does not apply to hero attacks.
Increased the health of cavalry mounts in melee and enhanced their maneuverability.
Map optimizations:
Balance adjustments for the Athen Acropolis, Masada Fortress, and Bad Hombury maps.
Adjusted the respawn selection mechanism in maps, changing from stronghold respawn (choose a stronghold, actually respawn at a satellite location) to real respawn location selection.
Renovation of artistic resources on the Luoyang map.
Optimized battlefield experience, automatically displaying hero avatars at long distances and player names at close range in the battlefield. This feature is enabled by default and can be disabled in "Game Settings." You can quickly switch between the two display modes by pressing and releasing the Ctrl key on the battlefield.
Iron Armor Plus-related feature optimizations:
Optimized the "Token of Contract" drop mechanism; apart from custom and trial modes, there's a chance to drop "Token of Contract" in other modes (including most battles in Main World), and the interface now shows the number of drops.
Bos Plus Star Card mechanism changed: When players select Bos Plus Star Card, it will be prioritized over other Star Protection mechanisms when available.
Adjustment to the display of remaining days in Iron Armor Plus: now displayed as remaining days +1 day (e.g., 26 days and 2 hours will be shown as 27 days).
Contract system optimizations:
Optimized the Contract system interface and modified some artistic resource displays: "coal Stone" renamed to "Key," and special gold items obtained will be directly opened, with randomly obtained items directly entering the covenant warehouse.
Contract weapons can also be combined with Weapon Effect and can be traded (including Weapon Effect in the trade), but combining Weapon Effect with covenant weapons does not increase Reputation points.
Weapon Effect and the special attack trails of red quality Contract weapons can coexist without affecting the original performance.
Reopening of Advance and Secure Events, with the following schedule:
Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 19:00 to 20:00. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 14:00 to 15:00.
Remove [Queen's War Preparation Blind Box].
Thrones and carriages have been placed in the main cities of the Main World. Player character models who have earned Tiers in the Conquer the World event will be displayed on these throne carriages (changes will be visible upon re-entering the main city after setting statue skins).
III. Issue Fixes
Fixed a bug where Leonidas' F skill (Nudge Attack) attacked in the wrong direction.
Fixed a bug where soldiers recruited by Liu Bei to Arthur would not attack.
Fixed a bug causing cavalry to get stuck and unable to move forward during certain special maneuvers.
Fixed a display bug in Saladin’s Horseback action.
Fixed texture errors for Richard I’s weapon: Mantle Ripper, and Kaihime's Crimson Bunny: Red Moon Hood (hat).
Fixed a bug where Caesar's Dark Gold God of War Corps skins appeared incorrectly on the battlefield.
Fixed texture errors for Xiahou Yuan’s Heaven's Favour Mounted Bowman and Braver Than Beast Mounted Bowman skins.
Fixed a bug where Zhang Bao’s God of Evil set and Outcast skin had misplaced red eye effects.
Fixed a bug in Huang Zhong’s Undefeatable General to King skin where the upper and lower body textures did not match in color.
Fixed a bug where Zhang Fei’s Awaken Skin was missing ghost effects.
Fixed an error in the description of Hua Mulan's Battle Proficiency skill; the stamina reduction effect actually works outside the smoke as well, not just as a special smoke ability.
Fixed a bug where some city gates in battle maps like Yumen Pass would protrude from the ground.
Fixed a bug where character names above heads in Main World cities remained visible in campaign and territory interfaces.
Without spoilers of The Wine and The Beggar... there are some characters from The Wine that return for The Beggar in the lore, but the main connection of both games is still the Banydebosc Wine. The Beggar takes place around 300 years after The Wine, and let's just say the origin of the properties of the banydebosc wine and further investigations about that is what sets in motion the story of The Beggar.
