SPACE TOW TRUCK - ISAAC NEWTON's Favorite Puzzle Game - Eric
They won the Emerging Talent Award at UQAM's Educational Research Popularization Competition (CVRÉ) by presenting the study that will evaluate the effects of Space Tow Truck on the learning of physics at the college level. Wow! As student researchers, they also brilliantly collected and compiled the data from this study. All this in parallel with their studies in high school teaching!
I'm really proud that this great project, in partnership with researchers at UQAM, has generated so much involvement and creativity.
The next generation of high school science teachers is inspiring! Congratulations Maude Lefebvre and Jeanne Benoit!
We’ve got a small hotfix for you today, fixing a couple of issues with trading and bartering. Now, you can safely carry on with your shopping sprees across the Forgotten Realms!
Thank you for taking the time to submit your reports to us. We are continuing to work on fixes for other reported issues with Patch 6.
As always, if you’re experiencing issues after installing the latest update, please check whether the issue persists with your mods uninstalled. As mods aren’t officially supported at the moment, some installed mods may become temporarily incompatible with new patches and hotfixes.
If the issue persists after uninstalling the mods, please reach out to our support team with your report. Thank you for playing Baldur’s Gate 3.
FIXES
Fixed an issue that would cause vendors to initially display their current gold amount as zero.
Fixed a crash when entering into bartering with a vendor. Hagglers rejoice!
I'm pleased to announce that Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt will be releasing to Steam in March (final date TBD)
Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt is a brand new game set in the Midnight Monitor universe. In it, you must make your way through Aldercourt train station and try to spot as many anomalies as you can. If you spot an anomaly, head backwards. Can you find your way to Platform 8?
Please wishlist Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt using the wishlist button above and keep your eyes peeled for the release date, and news of a bundle purchase too.
Midnight Monitor: Anomaly Watch?
To commemorate the announcement of Aldercourt, Midnight Monitor: Anomaly Watch (+ DLC) will be on sale for 2 weeks at a 30% discount starting TODAY.
Improved mouse controls around navigation – clicking the upper part of the screen now counts as an 'up' input, and will now enter the next area when a red interactive ‘up’ arrow is displayed, while clicking the lower portion of the screen now counts as a 'down' input, and will enter the next area when a red interactive ‘down’ arrow is displayed. Interacting with the 'white dot' interactive items when they're in line with your character will work anywhere in the central portion of the display.
Improved the movement of mouse and analog stick inputs during first person investigations. The movement here should now be much more fluid and not just 8-directional.
Fixed a lockup that could occur when using the mouse to control the game while close to both an interactive ‘white dot’ object and an interactive ‘red arrow’ entrance to a new area (e.g. the lockups found in the restrooms near the cleaning cupboard and some classrooms near a cleaning cupboard, etc.)
Fixed some text errors mentioned on the Steam discussions.
Even though we’re bidding farewell to the Lunar festivities, we're thrilled to offer more details on the future for Deceit 2 - its upcoming F2P launch and how you can get involved in shaping the release!
F2P & Console release
We can now confirm that our transition to a free-to-play model on Steam is set for March 13th. Those who've purchased Deceit 2 will receive our inaugural DLC, the Werewolf Pack, and additional in-game currency.
Today’s game update marks the start of “F2P Early Access”, where you’ll be able to try some of the new features we’ve been working on for the F2P launch.
Alongside this we're continuing to work tirelessly on bringing Deceit 2 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Our aim is to release on these consoles alongside F2P next month, but this is still subject to final testing and approval of the huge number of changes we’ve made with Steam feedback. This final testing is underway now and we’ll let you know the moment we do. Thank you for your patience as the console launch has taken longer than we expected, but we are just as keen as you to see Deceit 2 on PlayStation and Xbox!
New Year, New Roles
To kick off our F2P Early Access period, we’re introducing "The Cursed", a new team ready to upend the game with chaos and bring a whole new level of strategy. The Cursed have their own win condition - eliminate the other teams - in order to be victorious. The other teams will have to route out who the Cursed player is to ensure their win too.
In this pre-launch testing period your feedback on these new roles is invaluable, especially as we prepare for the free-to-play launch. Dive in today to explore these changes, offer your feedback and help shape the future of Deceit 2!
Curse: The Mimic
The first Curse for the new Cursed team: choose how to win as the Mimic! Outlast the number of Terrors there are in your game, and then you will be able to copy the role of one of those who has perished, either by banishment or execution. Did the Guardian die? You can choose to take their power to protect players. Was a Terror voted out? You can join the remaining Terror and tip the scales again. The choice is yours - but be quick about your decision, or the Game Master will choose for you!
Innocent: The Inquisitor
Play detective as The Inquisitor. With your Scan ability, you’ll be able to investigate Weak Points to see how long ago they were activated, and if there was a Mutation acquired so you can see what it is in the Terrors’ arsenal. You’ll also be able to use your ability wheel (default ‘T’) to see incriminating footsteps left behind.
And that's not all - new roles for Innocent players are also on the way, empowering you like never before and adding a layer of unpredictability to each round.
Your Lunar highlights
What were your favourite parts of the Lunar New Year event? Now that the event has wrapped up, we’d love to get your feedback. Fill out our survey and you could be in with a chance of winning a signed Deceit 2 poster!

Obfuscation - As a Cursed role, survive the Ritual.
Failing to complete a Task will no longer cause it to be deactivated, as such Tasks will also no longer outline you to the Terrors.

UI
The progress bar(s) for Tasks you’re completing have been removed.
Everyone can now see some Team and Role information in ‘Second Sight’, although only the Terrors and Cursed can see the Innocent roles that are in the game.
