- Fixed an issue where the stone doors of the Witch-Quest would not correctly teleport the adventurers to the right spot (if you're in the middle of the quest it will probably need to send you back one time more but after that going through the right door should work fine) - Fixed some skills missing their effects
Steam VR players looking for a challenging and innovative demo during Steam Next Fest (October 9-16) will have the opportunity to get a first look at Bootstrap Island, a Robinson Crusoe-style virtual reality survival game set in the 17th century.
VR gamers who download the demo will awake to find themselves shipwrecked on a mysterious tropical island, where they must quickly learn to adapt and survive by exploring for food and drink, collecting materials to make fire; and surviving the dark night from being eaten alive by ferocious beasts.
Some of the game’s features PCVR players can look forward to exploring are:
in-depth systems-based gameplay like tearing open coconuts for nourishment and tinder
Realistic and detailed interactions such as striking together flints to create sparks for a fire
During the week of Steam Next Fest, a variety of top VR talent including Soul Fox Gaming, Atom Bomb Body, IndieVR, Misery VR, ChickenMeChanga, c0ld vengeance and MrsAllHerShots will all lend their expertise to show off the many facets and pitfalls this roguelike game has to offer. The choices these VR gamers make will be critical to their chances of survival, with every decision perhaps resulting in life or death consequences.

New Identification System now automatically rolls to identify enemies as the original game did instead of requiring the player to use the Inspect Enemy action to do so. This makes the system more opt-in and the new system now provides an extra add to the original game instead of wholly replacing the original system.
An issue with button focus being lost when opening the spell tabs on the character sheet has been fixed. This issue was most obvious with characters who had spells on both the Divine and Arcane spell tabs. It was primarily affecting players playing with a controller.
Fixed missing chevron awarded on character sheet after defeating Werdna
Fixed a bug that was causing crashes or lock-ups when returning to town with a character with an AC of -10 or lower
Fixed a bug causing erroneous item awarding to fail if the item was initially awarded to a character with a full inventory (don’t worry - you always get all the items you roll now)
Another update is here! Introducing some lore for Dreadland, reworked fog-spreading events, new human enemy, some changes, and few fixes. Please continue to post your bug reports and feedback in Community Hub or in the game's Discord server.

ADDED - Dreadland lore - new human enemy (only appearing in Urlando) - new cassette - loot spawns for fog-spreading events - more diggable ground spots (in newer areas) - placed a cassette player to Urlando
CHANGED - reworked fog-spreading events (triggered when player gets nearby, happen randomly) - removed fog-spreading event warning messages - vehicles now accelerate faster and drive better uphill - simplified vehicle boost (now works just by holding the sprint button) - renamed Metal sheet axe to "Rusty axe" - slightly adjusted flatbed truck spawn position - fuel gauge is now easy to read in all vehicles - reworked punching animations - improved some sounds - reworked some textures
FIXED - stat increase/decrease message would show up rarely - in hand item would sometimes get stuck in odd angles after switching - jumping wasn't affected by strength stat
DUSK HD will launch as a series of mods on the Steam Workshop along with the full DUSK SDK on December 11th.
Everything you see here is 100% FREE. 100% OPTIONAL. And the game will be 100% MODDABLE.(and we're still working on it)
For those of you old school MFs who still like to move files around instead - it will all also be available DRM FREE. (Dusk on Steam has no DRM btw)
We're still discussing how we'll release the SDK version of DUSK (which is essentially an entirely new version of the game on a reworked engine) but we're aiming to make sure that modding and managing DUSK is as free and easy as possible for years to come. Thanks for 5 years of DUSK!
