  • Poison and Bleed now scales with Vulnerable.
  • Corruption now only scales magical damage.
  • Removed Stun and Mind Control potions from the alchemy table.
  • On difficulty 3, a random hero gains Mark of Death at the start of a run.
  • New alchemy table environment.
  • New enemy hover effect. Should be more pleasing and less distracting.
  • Added camera zoom effect when conquering a combat chamber.
  • Added gong sound effect and vfx when all cards in hand have been played.
  • Blind enemies now remember their previously targeted hero.
  • Added damage times X intents to some enemies.
  • Rewritten NPC lore bits.
  • Telemetry - to help us improve the game, we have introduced an option to track gameplay data and error logs. We don't collect any personal identifying information and you can opt out of this entirely at your discretion.

Hunter:
  • Shoot: Changed base damage to 2 times 2.
  • Oil Lamp: It now applies 10 Aim to every card in hand. Boost levels: 5, 10 Aim
  • Guzzle: Reduced base Strength gain on feed. Increased Strength gain from 2nd boost level.
  • Food for Thought: Reduced base Intellect gain on feed. Increased Intellect gain from 2nd boost level.
  • Reload: Added extra gain 1 Strength to 2nd boost level.
  • Gatling: Reduced the extra damage multiplier from its boost levels by 1.
  • Hunter Badge: Increased Aim gather to 10.
  • Blade of Malevolence: Changed its trigger mechanic to the new point accumulating system.
  • Big Game Hunter: Changed its trigger mechanic to the new point accumulating system.

  • A few cards showed wrong damage preview values on the enemies while the card was grabbed.

  • Fixed enemy hover activating when certain enemies were playing their death animation.
  • Fixed disabled trinkets sometimes retaining the X icon even when they get enabled again.
  • Fixed Fire Cycle not properly gaining extra damage from Aim.
  • Fixed an issue where Ingward sometimes sold trinkets only for blood instead of gold.
  • Fixed an issue where using a Strength or Intellect potion on the 2nd or 3rd hero would incorrectly grant the buff to the 1st hero.
  • Fixed some potions not being usable globally, requiring them to be dragged onto a hero.
  • Fixed poison sometimes showing 1 more damage per tick on heroes.

We've crash landed with a brand new update, v2023.10.24, featuring THE FUNGLE! Gather your crew and explore the mysterious depths of this fungal jungle together.

🚨 NOTE: You MUST update your game to play. 🚨 This update is not backwards compatible, so make sure you are on v2023.10.24 to get the new map and fixes.





Work with your fellow Crewmates to repair the communication channels after crashing into a deserted island! But it's never that easy is it? Crewmate life is full of dread and chaos.

Deal with an all new sabotage, fix the old ones, and figure out who the Impostors are before you become one of their victims! I wouldn't stand so close to that vent if I were you...

There's a boatload of new tasks for you to try too like:

Bzzzt Comms may have been destroyed when we crashed on The Fungle, but you pulled through on completing a secret task! Last week, many Crewmates noticed we posted slices of.. something??

Scattered across our Reddit, Discord, Twitter (X?), Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram, you scavenger hunted your way to victory and discovered that a zipline would be on the map! Put together, this is what it looked like:

Patch Notes

We've been squashing a bunch of bugs in preparation for The Fungle! (Can someone please take care of these mosquitos though?) Here's a list of the biggest fixes:

  • Chat box will be selected when opening it in Free Chat - no more needing to click and then type!
  • Tweaks to audio files which should reduce load times on lower end devices
  • The Airship and The Fungle will take an extra 5 seconds to load so lower end devices can get all needed assets
  • Pets of dead players will no longer sit idle - they'll go back to being heartbroken that you're dead
  • Guardian Angels can no longer protect Crewmates during Comms Sabotage
  • When creating or finding a game, Impostor count no longer defaults to 3

Hey y'all! What an amazing time for the crew. Enjoying the relaxing sands of an oceanside retreat, picking mushrooms as you stroll through a shady jungle, running for your life from bloodthirsty Impostors... The Fungle really has it all!

Of course, having it all means having some unexpected bugs, too. We're already hard at work on smashing the latest bunch, but Crewmates out there in The Fungle may experience the ones listed below:
  • [Fungle] - The sound effects for the zipline may play continuously if a meeting is called while a player is on the zipline.
  • [Fungle] - The campfire sound effect may play during a game's intro sequence.
  • [Fungle] - Invisible collision may block player movement around the Labs.
  • [Fungle] - The map label for the dock may not be correctly displayed at times.
  • [Fungle] - The orange fish may be caught at a much higher rate than the others during the fishing task.
  • [Fungle] - Hats may float behind the player while using the zipline under certain conditions.
  • [Fungle] - A Crewmate may hang too far below the zipline during the travel animation.
  • [Fungle] - Using the zipline during a Mushroom Mixup may display the wrong hand color.
  • [Fungle] - An incorrect task explanation may be displayed while completing the Roast Marshmallow task.
  • [Practice Mode] - A dummy in the kitchen may spawn that cannot be killed.
  • [All Maps] - Quick Chat may incorrectly list certain terms as sabotages.
  • [All Maps] - Shapeshifters may lose functionality if the shapeshift time runs out while completing the Reactor Handprint Reader and Door sabotages.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

We've talked to a lot of Crewmates about our reporting system lately, and it seems like a lot of you are unaware that we have a whole team of beans whose job it is to read and review the in-game reports you all send. It takes time to go through them, yeah, but it's an important part of keeping the game healthy. So we thought we'd add a little reminder in-game for how our review process works (as well as a thank you for caring enough to help us keep the game fun for everyone).

After sending an in-game report, players will now see the message below to help everyone know:

YES, we do read reports.
YES, they do help (even though you can't see it right away).
And NO, you can't get banned for false "mass reports" (since we actually read and evaluate what's sent).

Well, Crewmates checks calendar the seasons are changing! We celebrated the coming of the Autumn Equinox by holding a Community Art Event in our Discord.

It was delightful to see your interpretations of how the Crewmates, Impostors, Sloths, and even Henry would be in different stages of autumn.

The event into 3 categories: Early Autumn, Mid Autumn, and Late Autumn. The most popular art pieces, as voted by our Discord, will be on display as our Discord banner until the winter arrives for us in the northern hemisphere. Hey, drivers! We are unexpectedly back with a big update, which is designed to improve the quality of the game. Due to the porting of the game to consoles and other marketplaces, we have improved many aspects of the game and finalized some modes! ːMihalychRageː



MAJOR CHANGES:

- Updated Roulette mode (new traps, scenes with Joker and Harley)
- Updated Dead Out mode (new enemies, new vehicles and alternate mode of all weapons)
- Added director mode to create your videos (invoked via photo mode or Tab in the game)
- Three new cars: Speed Zero, Astral X6, LKW
- New character skins: Joker and Harley, given out for 10 games with Joker's trap in Roulette
- Changes to the balance of game economy and career
- Expanded derby maps Cage and Frost, removed Abyss
- Other minor changes



Roulette mode changes:

- Death or leaving the mode does not give money
- Added scenes with Joker and Harley
- Changed the list of machines and added new ones
- Random better selects the map and mode for the car
- The more often you play, the more interesting the traps will be
- Some traps have been reworked for the sake of the fan.
- New traps like helicopter with Joker, timer with bomb, no contact with opponents, race with 10 cars!
- Improved mode design, added voiceovers and subtitles



Director mode:

- Quick entry into photo mode! Tab or two joysticks together
- Possibility to enable Cinematic mode with different cameras
- Ability to control time and change cameras manually



Dead Out changes:

- New enemies and effects
- Added 4 other cars on the map, find them! (Azaza, OleGT, Pronco and a broken APC Tyran)
- Improved optimization and visuals, game balance and some changes on the map
- Gameplay for the main character has been improved, shooting has become easier
- Zombie damage has been improved, it's better to shoot at legs or head
- Added hand grenade for the main character
- Added an unusual enemy that comes to the map after killing the first boss.



Main game changes:

- Added a new car Astral X6, Speed Zero and LKW
- Frost and Cage map derby are larger
- The action camera system has been redesigned and looks better
- Cars weight is now heavier and better at passing objects
- Added a penalty for intentionally using "reset on the road" in race and derby modes
- Rebalanced prices and levels in cars so that the long game progression doesn't interfere with the full experience for newcomers to the game
- Redesigned oil barrel (and toilet too), now there are more of them on the maps and they affect your tires more negatively
- Action camera is shown now sometimes on the billboards on the map as well
- More nitro is given in the air
- The third type of nitro also regenerates a bit during the game
- Added missing skins for the Badger
- The Walker GT car has been given the ability to turn on neon bottom lighting with a special skin (movie reference)
- Rear license plates are brighter at night
- Updated maps pool in career and some events
- Updated game shortcut icon (when you add it to your desktop, finally)
- Fans have been knocked down a little nicer and better body physics
- Added hair physics for some skins and cloth for Joker
- Removed different weather in the garage due to performance issues and low visibility
- Removed Abyss derby map from the game due to low popularity and outdated concept and visuals (too small map and too dark)

Fixes:

- Optimization improved in places
- Fixed a rare bug where a player could fly out of a car and hit the rear of another car at low speed
- Fixed an encountered bug with wheels in Monster Track
- Fixed a bug with nitro in SplitScreen mode for the second player
- Fixed rare bug with different race start in SplitScreen mode
- Fixed mono mode difficulty, by mistake AI could be a little better at tuning cars (especially on GoKart)
- Shopping cart got a small flashlight for dark maps
- Fixed "moonwalk" in running fans
- Improved overall system of calculating pilot's departure through a window or side door
- Fixed bug with inability to pass big water on small cars (due to ejection force)
- Fixed brightness issue on Nordringloop map
- Fixed a bug where a legless/headless driver could get up after dying
- Fixed a bug with Action Camera performance, in boss race mode the camera on the boss is shown more often
- Improved steam trap explosion, heavy vehicles are no longer thrown away by explosions.
- Other minor fixes
