We would also like to wrap up the latest events as well as share with you what is coming next.
So, let’s get to it!
ANSWERING COMMUNITY QUESTIONS!
Chapter 2 general FAQ
Q: What exactly are the chapters and what are the levels?
A; Chapters are parts of the game containing stories of different playable characters
Chapter 1 (featuring Palmer) is available now in the Early Access version of the game.
Chapter 2 (featuring Urd) will be out soon.
Chapter 3 (featuring Kirsten) will be developed and released after Chapter 2.
Each chapter contains 12 levels - which means 12 different locations to battle evil minions in.
Q: If I play Palmer, will I have the same Wargression system or Hub?A: Chapter 1 with Palmer as playable character retains certain aspects of the first Project Warlock game - with HUB serving as a place to upgrade weapons, skills and stats. Chapter 2 has the dynamic Wargression system implemented specifically for Urd. We’re constantly looking at feedback regarding both of these systems, and after launching Chapter 2 will see what you guys think to find the best way to enjoy the game.
Q: Will Chapter 1&2 force you to play specific characters ro will you be able to play as any character?A: At the moment the game lets you play a specific character in the given chapter but we would like to make sure you can have more freedom in choosing the character to tackle each of the chapters.
Q: Is there any ability unlocks in the level? Didn't see any. (Like character ability, not the wargression ones). Same thing with weapon upgrades). A: At the moment the Chapter 2’s Level 1 presented in the demo is tailored to showcase certain elements of the game on top of the new progression system. It is tailored to give the player a bit more things to experiment with. As to the spells - those are unlockable in the following levels.
Q: Dagger with its Wargression stuff feels too OP. Would this balance out in later levels? A: We are still tweaking the balance of the game so based on your feedback we will look into this case as well. We have a couple of ideas on how to make sure the dagger’s melee attack is as fun as the projectile one.
Q: Is there any reason to replay the demo? A: We definitely recommend replaying the first level - Wargression, the new progression system is designed to make each run different. By replaying the demo level you can check out various upgrade combos and try them out before Chapter 2 comes out.
Q: I don't think there is any way to see currently which powers/upgrades I have chosen and currently possess. A: You can see your current upgrades in the Status menu which can be activated by pressing TAB.
Q: Quick save isn't working in the demo A: The quick-save option was not implemented into the demo version to make sure you can complete this in one go. Cloud saves are also disabled.
CHAPTER 2 PLAYTESTS!
It’s very important for us to make sure you have a chance to influence the game before it is released so we will be starting the Chapter 2 community playtests before its eventual release!
Chapter 2 playtests will launch next week and will let you play through all the 12 levels of Urd’s adventure.
How to sign up for Chapter 2 Playtests? Easy. Just join our Discord server and head to the “Playtest Club” channel for more information - it’s the second channel on the list.
FEEDBACK LIVES AGAIN!
Did we already mention that your feedback is very welcome? Well, it wouldn't hurt to say that again. If you had a chance to play the Chapter 2 demo (available both for the owners of the game, and those still holding off) please consider sharing your thoughts on game forums as well as on our community Discord.
In case you have any questions regarding the installation of Chapter 2 demo, please check our last post which containing step by step instructions on how to do it!
NEW CHAPTER 2 TRAILER FROM REALMS DEEP 2023!

We also announced Project Warlock: Lost Chapters that will be arriving after Project Warlock 2 leaves Early Access. You can check it out here.
Hello. Bonjour. 안녕하세요. Hola. こんにちは. We're back at it again with another micropatch for the hit game "Omega Strikers". All them big ole' Strikers (and other size things) are getting a size nerf, bringing 'em down in line with the rest of the crew. There's a couple other small things in here as well, and we're hoping to get a thiccer patch out sometime this month!
STRIKERS
Strike Size Nerfs
Strike size has proven to be an extremely potent stat for all of our, well, thicc strikers. These beefy ones have continuously beat out the competition - despite having on average longer cooldowns on their abilities. Normal-sized characters are unchanged but we're shrinking the power of the big ones.
Asher
Asher is part of the size nerfs, but we don't want to nerf Asher too much on the whole. We will look to buff her in a future patch to make up for these changes.
STRIKE
Strike :: 270 → 265
Atlas
Atlas often had the weight of the world on his shoulders, and was holding it up too well, so he's getting hit with an extra nerf.
ASTRAL PROJECTION [PRIMARY]
Cooldown :: 8s → 9s
STRIKE
Strike range :: 270 → 265
Dubu
He'll still be bigger than the rest of the cast, but... just less bigger.
Strike range :: 285 → 275
X
X is collateral damage of this change, so we're making sure he still gets his moment to shine when he try and give it to ya.
STRIKE
Strike range :: 270 → 265
Strike range during SPECIAL unchanged
X MAXIMUS! [SPECIAL]
Size increase :: 35% → 37.5%
Estelle
Our last set of changes helped make Estelle less of a damage menace, but she's still wracking up those wins with outstanding core control. This should bring her back in line.
CRYSTAL THORNS [SPECIAL]
Cooldown :: 20s → 22s
Juno
After the change to her Blobbo activity in 3.0, Juno's been struggling to find her footing - the additional hold time has given enemies more opportunities to stop Juno's friends from finding shots. To level that out, we're giving them some more firing power.
The theme of this patch is size reduction! Big Fish is now a less big fish.
Size :: 30% → 25%
Built Different
The theme of this patch is size reduction! Built Different is now a less built different. Okay, that didn't make sense, sorry.
Size :: 30% → 25%
Egoist
Persistent speed boost at full Energy :: 10% → 12%
Burst of speed when hitting full Energy unchanged
Extra Special
The happy star was a bit too happy - and is still always good. We're just gonna wipe that smile off its face a bit.
Cooldown reduction :: 30% → 25%
Reverberation
The reverb was a bit too strong after the buffs last time. We're adjusting the parameters to bring it back in line with the other stagger options.
Cooldown per 100 max Stagger :: 1.5 → 1.15
Spark of Resilience
Spark of Resilience has fallen behind its Spark compatriots, and some other awakenings, in terms of power and pick rate. We're pushing some power into it to give it a... spark.
Base Stagger :: 100 → 150
Stagger per Spark :: 200 → 250
Stagger Swagger
Heal per Second :: 150 → 200
Tempo Swing
Max Stagger percent for Damage/Heal on hit :: 5% (1.66% for LIGHT hits) → 6% (2% for LIGHT hits)
