I am very honored to announce that "Cave Fiction" is participating in the Steam Visual Novel Festival. I would love to offer a discount, but unfortunately, due to Steam's mechanisms, I am unable to do so at the moment.
Some updates: The English and Japanese manually proofread versions are currently in progress and are expected to be completed by October. The OST is in the Steam review queue and will be available soon.
Regarding the future: "Cave Fiction" is my first game, as well as GOOODMON's first game. It is also the first part of my "Fiction Trilogy." Some players who haven't experienced all the possible endings might have different interpretations of certain aspects of the story. I believe games are meant to be games. "Cave Fiction" is a philosophical game that explores the theme of "love," while the second part of this series will be a literary game focusing on "society." After the development of "Cave Fiction" the next game will support multiple resolutions, full-screen adaptation, and non-AI translated languages upon release.
Damage pop-up When dealing damage, numbers now appear indicating how much damage or healing a unit has received. Damage done by the player's army is red and damage done by the enemy is purple
Resources pop-up When a work unit brings a resource to the warehouse, the amount of resource and the type of resource appear on the screen

First of all, Vagrus – the Riven Realms has finally gained verified status on Steam Deck! It’s been a long haul, but we have finally reached our goal. We were originally able to attain the simple playable badge, and then, through continuous testing and grit among certain team members, we created and released a build last week that Valve was able to test and approve for verified status. We’d like to express our gratitude to you, the players, without whom we might not have made it this far. The game is already live on Steam Deck, but if you are familiar with it, you may now notice the presence of a new, shiny verified badge. Naturally, we recommend you give it a go!
These efforts have been part of a general push to get the game to as many platforms as possible, while continuously bringing new quality-of-life features to Vagrus. This includes support for controllers and most small screens, translations into a variety of languages (mostly machine-based), and an overwatch rework to name but a few. Then there’s our forthcoming expansion, the most recent devlog of which you can check out here. All in all, we’ve had our hands quite full.
In other news, we are delighted to inform everyone that we have partnered with the devs over at Worldwalker Games LLC and Trese Brothers to present you with a kickass bundle! Get ready to grab three award-winning games: Vagrus – The Riven Realms, Star Traders: Frontiers, and Wildermyth, all in the Endless Adventures Bundle offering a 10% discount on all three games! It is very important to note that the bundle is here to stay and the 10% can be combined with any other sales discounts, so if you are looking for a good deal, it might be worth checking back during a Steam sale.
Each of these award-winning games offers hundreds of hours of playtime, with a wealth of stories and character-building opportunities, and all in all, a simply stunning amount of content. Let’s look into the details, shall we?
With more than 30 character classes, hundreds of talents and ship components, and nine factions to champion (or use entirely for your own ends), Star Traders: Frontiers presents countless ways to play this sci-fi captain RPG. Discover black markets and smuggle your way to a fortune; rise through the ranks and command a starfighter carrier; brave wild worlds and discover new stories and become the kind of captain you want to be.
Wildermyth is an imaginative fantasy adventure RPG that uses an incredible procedural storytelling system to take your unique heroes on their own journey every playthrough. Tactical combat encounters are rich with options and enemies, and even having a character taken down offers choices that will impact your party’s story. Get new heroes, new enemies, new story events, and new maps every time you play.
Last but not least, Vagrus – The Riven Realms offers a vast, open world to explore, filled with unique locations, strange factions, and a colorful cast of characters in this caravan-based RPG with an immersive and detailed dark-fantasy setting. Recruit a wide variety of companions to aid your ventures, fight cruel and terrifying foes, uncover secrets, and survive challenges that make it immensely satisfying to succeed.
Intrigued? Do check out the bundle and remember: the discount can be combined with any other discount during any Steam sale event! In the meantime, stay tuned, stay safe, and conquer the wasteland!

We're only a few weeks away from the launch of Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure™. When the expansion launches on August 22, it'll bring all-new areas to explore, set high in the skies above Tyria: two new explorable zones and the Wizard's Tower outpost, with another map to open up in following releases as the story progresses. To help you explore those maps, you'll also get access to a new, streamlined method to unlock your skyscale mount, plus new Masteries for flying mounts.
The raptor mount will also be unlocked for owners of Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure, although you'll still need Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire™ to train its associated Masteries.
Reintroducing the Skyscale
The skyscale mount originally launched with the finale of Living World Season 4, "War Eternal." It was unlocked by completing a series of achievements that required a significant time and material investment to reflect the skyscale's position as something of a prestige mount.
Four years into the future, we're telling a story in primarily aerial maps that take advantage of different types of travel and movement—and we're adding a parallel path for unlocking the skyscale and its masteries in Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure.
You'll be introduced to the new skyscale acquisition method through the expansion story by unlocking the Flight Training Mastery line. After training the first tier of the line, you'll unlock the new skyscale collection. This collection is a streamlined successor to the original; our primary goal was to simplify some of the steps while maintaining much of the collection's theming and story.
As we approached giving players reliable access to the skyscale in Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure explorable zones, we took what we learned from maps such as Dragonfall and sought to improve the mount "rental" experience. In the new expansion maps, you do not need to go to a specific location in the map to hop on a skyscale—you'll have access to the mount button just like players who have permanently unlocked it, allowing you to mount whenever you choose. Assuming you get to Skywatch Archipelago, the first new explorable zone, by following the normal story progression, you'll have skyscale access when you first set foot there.
Flight Training Mastery
If you aren't familiar with Guild Wars 2's account-wide progression system, check out the official wiki article on Mastery to get a primer. The new Flight Training Mastery line includes parallel skill unlocks from the original Skyscale Mastery line, a new skyscale skill, and new interactions with other travel and exploration Masteries. As you can see in the chart below, players who have already trained certain Masteries (or who go back to unlock and train them later) will have additional benefits: their mounts' Air Rescue and Wall Launch skill will be upgraded to reflect their dedication.
Updrafts and ley lines across Tyria will be compatible with the new combination Masteries that allow flying mounts—the griffon and the skyscale—to take advantage of them. These types of complementary effects continue to expand the opportunities for exploration, and they give riders new ways to pull off incredible aerial feats.
Updrafts regenerate the flying mounts' flight meter.
*Names are subject to change. ** In our June 27 blog about the skyscale and Masteries, a formatting error caused the text associated with Tier 6 to display in incorrect cells, implying that there was an additional effect for players who had trained both Masteries. This error has been corrected.
We're excited for you to get your hands on the skyscale's new Fireball skill. It flows well with their other tricks, and it opens up some neat combat options. The new Fireball skill allows you to precisely aim where the projectile will land using your cursor. Similar to the siege turtle passenger's ability to fire projectiles at enemies, this new Fireball skill will not cause a dismount, so you can soar through the skies and take down threats from above—whether they're on the ground or in the air.
The Kryptis have aerial threats of their own that require your skyscale skills to take care of, and you'll be able to practice those skills via adventures throughout Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure to ensure you're prepared for any threat the Kryptis bring to you. One of the explorable zones includes a new Skyscale Target Practice adventure that'll have you racing around and spitting Fireballs left and right.
After you complete the Flight Training Mastery line and the Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure skyscale collection, a new collection will open up that awards a Kryptis-themed skyscale skin.
Prepare for Takeoff
The new skyscale unlock method and Masteries will all be available on August 22 with the initial release of Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure. We'll be back before then with more news about incoming features, and you can prepurchase any time before launch to start playing the moment the release goes live, in addition to securing prepurchase rewards like the Demon Hunter title.
Thank you for your feedback. The content of this update on August 9th is as follows:
1. Manually collected all shader preloads in the game to solve various freezing issues when characters and monsters use skills for the first time or when entering new scenes. 2. It is no longer possible to open the backpack and character interface during battles. 3. The timer interface is no longer displayed for Level 1 challenges. It can only be seen after unlocking the difficulty system by completing a level once. 4. Weakening the dash skill of flying creatures. Now they only deal damage after dashing a short distance. 5. Added a clear visual effect prompt for teleporters to differentiate them from regular drops. 6. Resolved the issue of excessive brightness in the model of Blansheld. 7. Fully fixed the problem where players could be moved after falling in the end animation. 8. Enlarged the stun gauge of bosses to improve visibility.
Note: To have the best gaming experience, please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the game.
