This update adds an exciting new feature to the in-game data pad called "Compositions".

Compositions allow you to save and name your current ship configuration independently from your save games. Compositions can be saved for the whole ship, or on a per room basis. This allows you to do things like experiment with new ship configurations in sandbox mode, save them as a composition and then load these compositions into your Career Mode Save game.

In Career mode, you'll only be able to load the composition if you're in the dock and you have the required components. If you have the funds, you'll also be given an easy option to automatically purchase any components you don't already own when loading a composition.

Rendering performance for rooms with exceptionally complex circuits with many floating objects has also been significantly improved.

[h4]Next time, we will be distributing the DLC for the Yamanote Line, a route that everyone has been waiting for! [/h4]

The Yamanote Line, which runs in a circle around the center of Tokyo for 34.5 km, taking 59 minutes, is a major line in the Tokyo metropolitan area, connecting huge terminal stations with world-class passengers. It runs parallel to the Keihin Tohoku Line between Shinagawa and Tabata stations, and the Saikyo Line and Shonan Shinjuku Line between Ikebukuro and Osaki stations. Since most of the line runs parallel to other lines, many different types of rolling stock can be seen. The Yamanote Line has few level crossings, with only one crossing, the "Daini-Nakazato Level Crossing" between Tabata and Komagome Stations, the only crossing on the Yamanote Line. The line is also characterized by its high frequency of service, with trains running every 3 to 4 minutes during the morning rush hour on weekdays, and every 5 minutes during the daytime on weekdays. Digital ATC is used as the security system.

On July 10th, some users reported issues launching the game after updating their Steam clients to the newest version.
Valve has applied a patch that should correct this issue.
