Hi everyone,

This is the list of the most important changes for latest update:

New features:
•Added Owen Gun.
•Added new BAR 1918 variant.
•Reworked animations for Colt m1911.
•Reworked animations for BAR.
•Reworked animations for Enfield (both variants).

•Added some new Map Editor props.

Fixes:
•Fully reworked pause settings to load faster and to be more user friendly.
•Fixes in heightmap import in Map Editor.
•Fixed wrong tetxures in some items and vehicles.
•Fixed Japanese mortar nomenclature.
•Fixed occasional bugs with skin color.
•Fixed a bug where sometimes player's weapon stopped shooting.
•Many other fixes from Feedbacks gathered on the Discord server.


We will be continuing reworking animations and UI in the next weeks.
We are also gonna start testings on Normandy campaign very soon. The Normandy campaign will include 6 beach landings missions, at least a couple paratroopers battles, a few tank and a few city battles. Here's a screenshot of current status of Omaha Beach:

We keep improving all features of the base game and as always we will be going on listening to suggestions from people inside the Steam Discussions and the Discord server.

As scheduled, the third Community Update is now available! Focusing more on the User Interface, this update brings new bug fixes, improves some elements and offers new features requested by the community.

Improvements
  • Buying or selling items in batches of 10 is now possible at all merchants.

  • Immersive mode now removes all items from the HUD.

  • Two tutorials have been created to better guide new players through their journey. They will appear when you first go to the "Tactic" tab or use a "Weather Stone" in exploration.

  • The mouse cursor has been standardized across all menus and sub-menus.
Patch Note
  • Fixed a hardlock where you could face the Junkyard boss before meeting Ysoris
  • Fixed a visual bug in the craft menu
  • Fixed a visual bug when selecting a character on the "Main" tab
  • Fixed a visual bug that hid information on the HUD when fighting in controller mode
  • Fixed a tutorial window that appeared between two loading screens at the beginning of the journey
  • Added a list to select your game support when a bug is reported
  • Improved the UI when an equipped weapon is on the list of components needed to craft a new weapon
  • Improved combat against the Red Widows when defending the refugee village in the Jungle
  • Teleporting to Inel is now possible for players who have not unlocked the zone teleporter
What's Next?
Next month's fourth Community Update will bring fixes and new features to the overall UI as we continue to improve your gameplay experience.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - London
With 8 new countries included in the upcoming West Balkans DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, our teams have their hands full; Especially when it comes to creating its abundant amount of wilderness and nature. With its exceptional wealth of plant and animal life, the Western Balkans is one of the richest parts of Europe in terms of biodiversity.



It is also a region that is mostly covered in mountain ranges, especially between the northwest and southeast. Drivers can expect a very diverse terrain profile when it comes to trucking, including some very scenic mountain routes.






Of course, not everywhere is hilly! You'll come across more even looking terrain as you travel inland. In these areas, you'll find that agriculture is more prominent, as conditions are more favourable for growing fruits, vegetables and livestock; especially in the warmer climates.






The West Balkans are also home to a variety of beautiful National Parks, which include everything from verdant valleys, to towering mountains, and a diverse array rivers, waterfalls and more which await visitors in this historic region.








With so much ground to cover, we are sure you'll have plenty time on the road to take it all in. ZpellCatz: Pumpkin Prologue - Sima
Hey there, fellow Catz! Today I want to talk about the progress of the last months and the changes of the new version (prologue / demo).

AI Upgrade

Last time, I talked about Familiars in ZpellCatz. Familiars can be controlled by a friend in local multiplayer or by an AI for moments when there are no friends sitting next to you. ^^
In order to be able to switch back and forth between those two control schemes, I had to upgrade the AI systems for better pathfinding.

The cool bonus: The enemy controlling AI also benefited from it! Enemies get stuck in corners less often and multiple melee enemies that hunt your cat hero do a better job at cooperating as a group.



Kudos to Cory Koseck (7ark) for their Unity-Passfinding repo. I used that one as a starting point and adjusted it to my needs. The red nodes on the image above show blocked paths, the blue nodes with green connections show possible paths.

Floor Visuals

One of the reasons that I started a crowdfunding campaign for ZpellCatz last October was to collect money in order to be able to polish the art a little bit. Thanks to the support it was possible to add some assets from matching "low poly / polygon" asset packs. One of these new additions are floor visuals!





The floor tiles are intentionally kept plain and monochromatic so as not to take the focus away from the combat action. But they look a lot better than the simple flat ground before.

Familiar Skill Trees

Next to the AI update mentioned before, I've also continued to work on the Familiars themselves. Today, lets have a look at the skill tree of them.

Each Familiar has a set of 4 active skills that unlock one by one over the first few levels. In addition to this, Familiars have passive skills called talents. Most talents affect the Familiar as well as your cat hero. Talents come in a "select A or B" fashion and can be respected for free in the village.

The first two available Familiars are Loki and Bashu. Loki uses high damage ranged spells (fire and nature element). The active skill "Heat Nova" also reduces the resistances of all enemies hit.



Loki's talents provide offensive stats like critical chance, spell power or faster cast.



In contrast, Bashu uses melee spells (lux and storm) and it is able to take a lot more damage than Loki. Two of Bashu's four active skills scale with max HP as well as spell power, so it's able to deal some damage even if you build it very defensively.



Bashu's talents provide defensive stats like block chance, life on hit or hit points.
