Calling all artisans, designers, and general furnishing enthusiasts! The FFXIV Furnishing Design Contest has returned!
In this contest, entries are not judged strictly on appearance, but by the heart and soul of each design. If you have an idea for a new furnishing item that expresses your hunger for housing, your desire for decoration, and your adoration for Eorzea and all the lands of FINAL FANTASY XIV, put your pen to paper and let your passion shine!
Whether it be a complementary piece to some of your favorite existing furnishings, or simply items of an aesthetic you love, we can't wait to see your brilliant designs!

The days are growing colder, Dwellers throughout Appalachia have begun adorning their homes with twinkling lights, and even the Scorched are prepping their most festive attire as we approach the holidays. Starting December 20, get into the spirit of the season by keeping an eye out for Santa-suited “Holiday Scorched,” and listening close for their jingling bells as you adventure around the Wasteland. Each one that you take down will drop a Holiday Gift, which you can open to get a few treats and a chance at rare loot, like C.A.M.P. item plans. While you’re on the hunt for presents, keep in mind that Holiday Scorched spawn as legendary 1- to 3-star creatures, and they will only appear in exterior locations.
Additionally, don’t forget to visit your favorite vendor to pick up some wrapping paper in exchange for caps. You can bring your wrapping paper to a Tinker’s bench to craft Holiday Gifts of your own, and then open them to get even more loot. The Scorched plan to spread holiday cheer in Appalachia until January 3, so be sure to fill your stocking with goodies by then.

Fixed Desydera the Spider Queen not always spawning properly when the Ice Caves were selected as the 2nd or 3rd level
Fixed an issue where the Amazon’s Aerial Up+Attack could result in unintended movement
Fixed the “Best Adventure Time” statistic being overwritten even if the new time wasn’t better than the record

Improvements
Revamped the way the game saves progress:
Save data will now be split into two separate sections, Progression save data and World save data.
The Progression save data contains your character’s level, inventory (such as items and perks) and your weapons. You will now be able to choose which character to bring into a session, whether you are playing solo, or if you’re joining a friend in multiplayer.
It also means that your character’s progress won’t be lost anymore if you’re joining a friend in multiplayer.
The World save data contains your mission progress and your character’s location in the game world. Whenever you join a friend in multiplayer, a version of their save data will be stored locally on your system as well.
This way, you can always choose to continue playing, even if your friend isn’t online. Keep in mind: This data is only created and updated when your squad saves use the radios in one of the Safe Zones.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where players at the maximum level with the maximum XP were unable to using crafting perks (e.g. Medkit Crafter)
Additional Heavy Keys have been added within the Central Station location to prevent players from becoming stuck behind doors that require these keys
Text is no longer cut off from the XP and Energy sections of the HUD when using lower resolutions with the 'Large Text Size' option enabled
Fixed an issue where players could become stuck behind the Specialist boxes within the Camp Reagan location

Let's cut to the chase and let's go what's new!
Update 17242 changes:
NEW changes
Added treasure maps to monster drops
Added quest reminder icons to the map
Added 'fill with' option, you can now fill a chest with a certain kind of item
Hot Dropoff in the 'fill with' option, fills using the same items that are already in chest
Mobile: you can now open the inventory tapping on the hero face on the quickbar
Now fighting in the dark gives the 'hidden' status, boosting evasion and critical rates.
Virtual Keyboard: added possibility to wrap from right to left
You can now move while swinging your tool. So when mining through tick walls you don't need to release the action button.
Now enemies will sometimes sleep at night. Slip between them to avoid the fight, or get them unprepared for a considerable advantage in the first turns.
Virtual Keyboard: added hotkey hints for gamepad
Advise players if they have to download some content from cloud, so they can skip or download only some of their saved games.
Android TV, added low frame rate compensation if the frame rate is 35 fps or lower.
Android TV, now the game uses desktopconsole type of UI, so buttons and Interface elements are no longer blurry or oversized for a television.
Rebalance: In Classic mode + Survival the Critical Plus from certain food items is 2x now
Rebalance: now an hit chance > 100 will decrease the enemy evasion rate. A negative evasion rate will increase the hit chance.
Tweak: Added command to fill chest from empty slot in bag
Tweak: Added message when I try to open building mode without any placeable item
Tweak: Now if you press cancel in the 'insert-email' part of the error prompt, the error report goes forward with an empty email reference.
Tweak: Now the text length limitation on a keyboard is applied before the character is shown to the player, not after a few milliseconds after stopping typing

Fixed an issue that caused 3x and 2x random powers to land on defeated enemies.

Fixed: while I try to open pause in ios often click is not readed. There is an area in pc that is not interactive
Fixed: Wrong recolor for icon quickbar in mode preview equip
Fixed: You can no longer use the smoke bomb in a battle where escape is blocked (like boss battles)
Should be fixed: Characters are shown as swimming and their skill are blocked even if, after starting the battle, they are on solid ground.
Should be fixed: Crash when confirming on an Achievement while pressing LTCTRL.
